Thx*** Family has previous experience working at a doggie day care business, and also have raised dogs in our family in the past. We also have a doggie door for bathroom breaks at your dog’s leisure. Our family is patient, loving, and caring of your furry friend! Our family does have privately owned business and a part-time job. Our family typically has at least one of us at home at all times to keep your dog company. We care for pets as if they are just like a guest in our home. We also like taking them out of the house for walks and car rides. We do have a doggie door for them to go out to our enclosed/fenced patio area. We like spoiling dogs, but will follow any rules they are coming from in order to keep consistency when they return back to you. Please just let us know what is not allowed. We will only show availability for your furry family member(s) on days at least one of us is not working for the full 24hour calendar day. We have a fenced yard enough for two friendly dogs to keep your family member company with us. We can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: Hi! I’m Lauren — a lifelong animal lover with decades of hands-on pet care experience. I grew up in a home that always had dogs (usually three!), and I started dog-sitting back in college in the early 2000s. One of my favorite long-term clients had a huge white German Shepherd who growled at everyone. By evening on day one, he was upside down in my lap, getting a belly rub! I had two beloved dogs of my own for 15 years, and now that I have two young kids (and no current pets), I’m looking to share my love with your furry (or scaly!) family member. Whether it’s walks, belly rubs, or snuggle time, I’ll treat your pet like my own. Dogs, cats, snakes, bunnies — you name it, I love them all. 💛 If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love to help care for your pet while you’re away! I only work a few hours in the morning (9-12), so my schedule is pretty flexible — I can often accommodate daytime, evening, or even last-minute pet care needs. I’m currently available for daytime, evening, and weekend bookings. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own home, so I’m happy to care for your dog or cat in their familiar space while you’re away. That said, if you'd prefer your pet stays with me, I do have a safe, fenced-in front yard that's great for larger dogs to get some playtime and fresh air. Inside, your pet will be treated like part of the family — couches are fair game (as long as you’re cool with it!), and my whole family will be happy to shower your pet with love, snuggles, and attention.

“Paul was fabulous with our energetic rescue dog Rocky (the rocket). While we were on vacation in Pismo Beach, Paul watched Rocky all day for a couple days. He exercised and loved on Rocky for many hours, which gave us free time to be tourists in the area. We will definitely see if he's available again in the future, when we're back in the area. About: I recently moved here! I am originally from Massachusetts and for the past two years I was living in Australia while getting my masters in marine biology. While I was there I watched several dogs overnight and for daily visits/walks. I am currently trying to find a job so I am very free :) I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your pets!! I live on a property without a fenced yard so I take my dog on a walk twice a day to make sure she gets the appropriate exercise.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs in my home since I was a newborn! Moving to LA my roommates and I dont have animals of our own yet, but we absolutely adore dog sitting! Great area for long walks and our house is extremely dog friendly. I work full time from home during the week, my work is very flexible with ample time to care for pets and take them on walks! I have two female roommates and between the three of us someone is always home. We have no pets of our own and make it a priority to take good care when we are dog-sitting. I love going on hikes with dogs or taking them to the park and throwing the ball. I can follow any guidelines pet owners leave out regarding care. I am familiar with giving dogs pills, special diets, etc. I’ve had a handful of dogs growing up with health problems. P.S. Happy to send you photo updates of your pets!
