We have a large, energetic 1-year-old shepherd who’s still very much in his puppy phase, and Molly, our 4-year-old, tends to be a bit skittish with new people. Lyz was incredibly patient, and Molly warmed up to her beautifully. She stayed in our home and treated it with the utmost care—we came back to everything exactly as we left it. Stephanie’s kindness and dedication have shone through from the moment we met her. Our usual dogsitters/housesitters weren’t available for the holidays, and we luckily found her on Rover about a month before departing for travels. She responded quickly, willingly making accommodations for all of our preferences. When we had our first meet and greet, she came prepared, even taking notes throughout. She asked all the questions any dog parent would hope and expect, and she stayed with us for about an hour until she got the full lay of the land. During our travels, we received morning and evening updates with photos and videos, which was a lovely touch. When we returned from our travels, we were blown away that she not only left a note summarizing the visit, but she even cleaned around the house, leaving it cleaner than before! I can’t adequately express how much I would recommend Stephanie’s petsitting and housesitting services! This is our second time booking with her, and we will certainly be using her again and again!
If I could give more stars, I would! Tali is the best! He came on board to stay at our house over the holidays and made best friends with our dogs. He took excellent care of them, including medication and a dog that sometimes hunger strikes when we’re away. He was attentive, reached out with questions, took great care of our house and put our minds totally at ease! What a pleasure — A hidden gem of a human being, for sure!
Chesnie did a phenomenal job taking care of our furry family, Diego and Olivia. She went above and beyond sending us regular updates with pictures, which we really appreciated during our travels. Chesnie was very respectful of the house and even took the trash out, which was extremely thoughtful. We look forward to working with her again, and definitively recommend her to anyone who is in need of pet sitting / pet care.
This is the first time Sasha has taken care of our dog. We hope it won't be the last! Our dog is like our child, so we were naturally a bit overprotective but Sasha was great. She gave us updates on our dog's daily adventures, responded to questions, and was generally a great comfort during our trip. This first engagement was for a week-long pet and house-sitting stay and we are more than happy at the outcome.
