We have a large, energetic 1-year-old shepherd who’s still very much in his puppy phase, and Molly, our 4-year-old, tends to be a bit skittish with new people. Lyz was incredibly patient, and Molly warmed up to her beautifully. She stayed in our home and treated it with the utmost care—we came back to everything exactly as we left it. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and dog sitting was one of my very first jobs. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—energetic puppies, laid-back seniors, and everything in between. Right now, I’m taking some time to enjoy the California “winter,” which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, and spending quality time with pets. I’m available throughout the week and can easily adjust to fit your needs! Whether I’m stopping by for a drop-in, taking your dog for a walk, or staying at your home, I focus on keeping pets happy and safe. Angela did a fantastic job taking care of our dog Bowie! Bowie is big boy who can be hesitant around new people, but he immediately warmed up to Angela at the meet and greet. Angela made sure to communicate about the best arrival and departure times to coordinate with our flights, and regularly sent us photos and updates throughout our trip so we did not have to worry. Bowie loved having someone with him in the home overnight and was clearly very comfortable sharing his space. Angela also did a great job taking care of the house and left it very clean and organized. We definitely plan on hiring her to watch Bowie again!
Lyz was everything and more! She gave me regular updates on my babies, kept the house clean, kept up with our dog's meds, was attentive to my pet's needs, and was proactive with care. Stephanie’s kindness and dedication have shone through from the moment we met her. Our usual dogsitters/housesitters weren’t available for the holidays, and we luckily found her on Rover about a month before departing for travels. She responded quickly, willingly making accommodations for all of our preferences. When we had our first meet and greet, she came prepared, even taking notes throughout. She asked all the questions any dog parent would hope and expect, and she stayed with us for about an hour until she got the full lay of the land. During our travels, we received morning and evening updates with photos and videos, which was a lovely touch. When we returned from our travels, we were blown away that she not only left a note summarizing the visit, but she even cleaned around the house, leaving it cleaner than before! I can’t adequately express how much I would recommend Stephanie’s petsitting and housesitting services! This is our second time booking with her, and we will certainly be using her again and again!
If I could give more stars, I would! Tali is the best! He came on board to stay at our house over the holidays and made best friends with our dogs. He took excellent care of them, including medication and a dog that sometimes hunger strikes when we’re away. He was attentive, reached out with questions, took great care of our house and put our minds totally at ease! What a pleasure — A hidden gem of a human being, for sure!
Chesnie did a phenomenal job taking care of our furry family, Diego and Olivia. She went above and beyond sending us regular updates with pictures, which we really appreciated during our travels. Chesnie was very respectful of the house and even took the trash out, which was extremely thoughtful. This is the first time Sasha has taken care of our dog. We hope it won't be the last! Our dog is like our child, so we were naturally a bit overprotective but Sasha was great. She gave us updates on our dog's daily adventures, responded to questions, and was generally a great comfort during our trip. This first engagement was for a week-long pet and house-sitting stay and we are more than happy at the outcome.
Pam stayed at my house with my pup for 2 weeks while I took a trip for my birthday. I had never left him for even an overnight, so I was a bit worried. He seemed to have had a great time with Pam and her pup Lily. I am grateful for the care and updates she provided while I was away.
