About: I have had dogs my whole life and have always taken care of them when other members of my family have been unavailable. I have also watched friends dogs while they are gone. I recently graduated college so I have a lot of free time. I am available most days as of now. I also am free all throught the day as well. I live in a spacious apartment building that is very pet friendly. Our complex also has a very nice outdoor dog park that is a great place for them to get some outdoor time and play.

About: When I moved into my house in 2018, one of my first priorities was to get a dog. Recently, Addie, who spent the past 7 years with me, had to be put down unexpectedly. I miss her a ton, and I would love to open my home to another dog (the yard just calls out for it), but I am unable to adopt at the moment for logistical/financial reasons. I would love for your pets and I to keep each other company while I work from home during the day! I am a diligent and reliable person who works remotely as a paralegal, so I always need excuses (whether walks, play, food, snuggles, or just potty breaks) to get up from my desk and move at intervals throughout the work day. I love animals of all kinds - in addition to my own dog, I can submit my friends' pets as references (Mildred the cat likes me better than her owner's wife, and Maggie the dog is obsessed with me while spurning every other friend her owners have). I'm also a birdwatcher and a huge fan of all the wildlife in my yard, from bunnies to lizards. My dog training and medical/senior pet care skills are limited, but I am open to learning and strongly attentive to detail - I will be sure to give your pet what they need. I work from home during the week, with approximate hours of 7 am - 4 pm M-F. On Tuesdays I have appointments in the afternoons, so I will not be available for day care that day. Weekend availability will depend on my plans. I don't have any pets at home currently. I have a screened-in patio with a dog door leading to the fenced-in backyard. When the weather is nice (not too hot), I like to work in the patio. The yard backs onto a wash, so there is a lot of wildlife in the area. Javelinas and coyotes frequent the area but cannot get into the yard. I have seen two rattlesnakes in the yard in 7 years of living here. I would not leave small/medium dogs or cats outside unsupervised. If you give permission, I would feel comfortable leaving large dogs who are snake trained outside while I'm in the house (as I often did with my 80 lb golden doodle).

Highly recommend Annie!! Our dog made himself right at home when we dropped him off and Annie was so great at taking the time to learn about what our dog needed in terms of walks, etc. Our dog looked so comfortable there when we picked him back up and it was clear she was very attentive during the day based on the report.
We're visiting from out of town and need an occasional pet sitter. Our dog is used to free-roam boarding, but is nervous in new situations with strangers. Stephanie was great with her. She kept her on a lead to help her feel comfortable, took her for a walk, slowly introduced her to some of the other dogs, and shared photos. Our first experience went well, so we'll be back! My pup had the BEST time with Maddie! Through out the bookings Maddie made my pup feel safe and comfortable, she went exploring and even got my dog to chase some butterflies with other dogs from the community! What a score for a sitter, Maddie is top tier in pup care! If you get a chance to book with her you can rest assured that your firry friend is going to have the best time! I would give Maddie even more stars if possible, she ROCKS !!
My 2 dogs just had their second weekly daycare visit at Sara's. Sara is very communicative, and sends pictures. She has a lovely shady outdoor space for the dogs with green grass. She keeps it perfectly clean. She seems to understand my dogs well and is getting to know their needs. She tells me her observations. She takes them for walks and plays with them. They are very relaxed with her. I feel very fortunate to have found Sara.
