I grew up around K9 handlers, which gave me experience with dog behavior, obedience, scent work, and safe handling. I have also trained my own Golden Retriever, which helped me build patience, consistency, and confidence working with dogs. I also have grooming experience, including bathing, brushing, drying, de-shedding, de-matting, and handling dogs with different temperaments. I am currently a student at the University of Arizona earning my BA in Animal Science, and my ultimate goal is to earn my MA in dog behavior.
