About: Do you need someone who can handle about just any kind of animal? I have spent most of my time living on a farm. I have taken care of animals such as birds, cats, dogs, various reptiles, and generic farm animals. I would love to make your pet my new best friend! I am a currently a college student at the University of Arizona. I am interested in pet sitting so I can have time for a potential internship and focus on my major. I love spending quality time with animals. I prioritize their happiness and care for their needs. I currently have two dogs and a cat which love to take walks and sleep with me at night.

“.Brittany was exactly what my dog and I needed. It was my first time working with Rover and she helped me through the learning process. She worked with me to find times that worked for us PLUS my dog was so happy to see her every day. She was patient and understanding of our needs and made my time away less stressful knowing my dog was being cared for with daily walks. I will be calling on her again soon.”

“Amanda was a HUGE help for us and made it possible to juggle some unexpected family obligations and a crazy nursing school and work schedule. She was terrific with our pups -- even our 85-lb Georgeasaurus Rex who prefers to walk people vs. being walked by people. Can't reccomend her enough!”

About: I am studying pre-veterinary science at the University of Arizona. My love for animals is unmatched and I am a very quick learner to your pets needs! I’m currently on summer break and have plenty of time to spend with your animals! I am currently looking for jobs and I’m willing to spend lots of time with your animals! All of my animals are spoiled rotten and they all deserve it. I will also spoil your animals! Each animal deserves attention of their own!

About: I've been caring for friend's and neighbor's pets since I was a teen, and I would love to come give your pets some affection and exercise while you're busy or away! I've lived with many dogs with many different personalities, and have experience working with reactive, anxious, and high-needs dogs. I adopted my (2yo) dog as a puppy and have been learning a lot about puppy training too! I practice positive reinforcement training and I'm happy to turn our walks and play time into opportunities to work on your pup's training. I'm available to come play with your dog, take them for walks, and make sure they get lots of loving attention! I currently work as a field botanist and my schedule is variable throughout the year. When I’m in town I can be available most times of day with advance notice. I try to keep my calendar updated a month or two in advance with my availability. I'm happy to follow any requests, rules, or special needs you have for your pet. I find treats to be a great way to befriend most pups- unless you have particular treats for your dog, I'll typically have treats to share! If your dog takes some time to warm up to strangers, or has trouble walking in places where they may interact with other dogs, I am more than happy to work through their needs with you and the pup.

About: I'm a lifelong cat owner and recently adopted a 6-year-old Newfoundland/German Shepherd mix who's the bestest boy. I'm a frequent pet sitter for my aunt's high-energy black lab, and love hiking with my pup. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or just needs a buddy while you're away, I’m happy to help. I genuinely love animals and treat every one like my own. I'm currently working part-time, so I'm available Monday-Thursday from 1:30-5pm (potentially earlier or later, depending on location), and all day Fridays (although Friday I will be working, just remotely). I have availability on weekends as needed, I'm pretty flexible. When caring for pet in your home, I treat your fur baby with the same love and attention I’d give to my own. I will follow your routines and preferences, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, litter duty, or just hanging on the couch. I always double-check doors, gates, and instructions to keep your pet safe and your home secure. Your pets will get plenty of love and attention while you're away.

About: Hello, my name is Amber, but I go by Ash. I am an animal lover, having owned all types of them throughout my life. I have had big and little dogs, cats, fish, frogs, a snake, and a lizard. I currently have a cat, a snake, a lizard, and a fish tank that also has some snails in it. I had a small dog, but she passed away recently due to cancer. However, I did receive more experience with administering medications during her last few months. I have also provided care for puppies and kittens that were too young to be separated from their mothers, but they were for one reason or another. I have also potty trained plenty of dogs, no matter the age. I have also cared for senior animals that had issues walking occasionally, and I would help them outside to use the bathroom, and clean up any mess that may have been made along the way. I have no problems with cleaning out tanks, litter boxes, or kennels, and know what chemicals are best to use. I also have no problem with using specific cleaners that the client prefers. I currently work as an independent contractor on the weekends mostly. I also have my own pets at home that need their own care, and other than school, I am completely open and free to watch, walk, play with, and maybe even train your pets! I will follow any rules outlined by the client. I will check for any allergies or intolerances the animal(s) may have before giving any treats. I offer mental stimulation in many forms, including training, makeshift snuffle mats, and sniff n search for toys or treats. In my own home, interactions will be monitored closely, but all the animals here are really friendly. There is a large backyard with a smaller, fenced in area attached to the back. This would still allow a safe space for the client's animal to go outside if there were any issues. I have experience with having multiple animals in a home that do not get along, and am adept at dealing with a situation like that.

“Sara was great with my pup! He got good walks in and she communicated perfectly.”

About: Hi there! I am a full time nursing student getting my BSN. I love hiking, reading, and being active. When it comes to pet care, I have several years of experience with all types of pets and am confident in care for overnight sits or a daily check in/walk. My experience is with family, friends, and care services. I tend to be the go to dog and cat sitter for all of my loved ones, so that got me started with strong experience and led me to caring for pets through services like this! I love getting to meet new animals and learning what makes them unique. That means adjusting care for each individual pet’s needs. My top priorities in care are strong communication, safety, and lots of snuggles! I also foster dogs from PACC ❤️ Can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! I am currently a full time nursing student so my schedule is quite open to any type of pet sitting. I am in a hybrid program so I’m only in person for clinicals and labs. This gives me lots of time to spend with your pet if given the opportunity! I care for pets in their homes by listening to instructions intently and asking clarifying questions. I also make sure to keep good communication with the owners and to respect the boundaries of the animals. It is important to adjust care based on the individuality of the pet and to keep them safe at all times!

“Colbie absolutely loves Nik! He is prompt and is very attentive to my baby girl! I love that he has experience with pitties so I know that she is in good hands!”

Barrio Centro dog parents share their Rover experiences
Logan was great! I have three dogs who can be a handful and a large dog who gets nervous around new people, but Logan handled them so well and my dogs all came back happy and tired.

Great first visit. Parker came early to meet Frieda before the walk. Very patient and calm while getting acquainted with Frieda. Plan to continue Parker’s services.

So sweet, great communication, and my pup loved her! Very respectful of time and your space. Would definitely have her help with my pup again!

Very patient with my nervous Cooper. Was able to complete the walk in the heat! Very highly recommend Reese for your pet needs.

We were so happy to have our dog get extra walks during a busy week! Great communication and flexibility. Will be using her again!

Robert was phenomenal. Extremely honest, punctual, & caring! Florence (my dog) just loved him immediately and sits by the door waiting for him on days he was not scheduled to walk her. I have to say I'm overly impressed by his work ethic and ability to immediately build trust with his clients & their pets. You'd be a fool to choose anyone else to care for your pets.
