“Logan has been walking my dog twice weekly for about a month now. My dog is very skiddish and slow to warm up to people, but Logan has respected that and allowed my dog to get to know him over time. Logan brings a slip lead when he walks my dog because she is too scared to allow someone to harness her regularly. I’m hoping as time goes on my dog might allow Logan to leash her up properly but for now I’m glad that Logan is continuing to allow her the space to learn that she’s safe.”

About: I've worked in a veterinary clinic and animal hospital and have volunteer experience with PACC and the Humane Society. I feel comfortable around animals and certain I can provide great care! Though I did not grow up with childhood dogs I came to love them through my work. My time at a veterinary clinic and at PACC gave me the chance to connect with dogs and understand how smart, silly, and loyal they can be. I have no dogs of my own but am fond of everyone's! I grew up surrounded by cats and they have a special place in my heart. I have personal experience with elderly cats and giving oral medication. I am currently working part time at a book store. I accept some same-day requests and have a fairly flexible schedule. When I'm not working I live an active and social lifestyle, which pet care fits into well! I appreciate having a doggy friend on a walk and spending time around animals makes any day better. Although I cannot have animals in my own home I can take great care of them and other people's houses. I am safety and security focused and will always lock the door, double check surroundings, and leave everything tidy.

About: I've been caring for friend's and neighbor's pets since I was a teen, and I would love to come give your pets some affection and exercise while you're busy or away! I've lived with dogs with all kinds of personalities, have fostered dogs and cats for PACC, and have experience working with reactive, anxious, and high-needs dogs. I adopted my (almost 3yo) dog as a puppy and have been learning a lot about puppy training too! I practice positive reinforcement training and I'm happy to turn our walks and play time into opportunities to work on your pup's training. I'm available to come play with your dog, take them for walks, and make sure they get lots of loving attention! I currently work as a field botanist and my schedule is variable throughout the year. When I’m in town I can be available most times of day with advance notice. I try to keep my calendar updated a month or two in advance with my availability. I'm happy to follow any requests, rules, or special needs you have for your pet. I find treats to be a great way to befriend most pups- unless you have particular treats for your dog, I'll typically have treats to share! If your dog takes some time to warm up to strangers, or has trouble walking in places where they may interact with other dogs, I am more than happy to work through their needs with you and the pup.

About: I should be your sitter because I have both professional animal care experience and personal experience caring for pets with special needs. I’ve worked at a boarding facility and volunteered with the Arizona Humane Society, but I’ve also cared for my own diabetic dog, giving insulin and managing his routine. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and pets that need extra patience or medical care, and I’ll treat every animal like family. Pet care is something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I make time for it because it’s both rewarding and a nice break from my busy college schedule. As a student at the University of Arizona, I balance classes with plenty of flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. Spending time with animals helps me de-stress from school, and I truly enjoy every opportunity I get to care for pets and give them the love and attention they deserve. I always follow a pet’s normal routine to keep them safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I double-check doors and gates, stick to feeding and walk schedules, and give regular updates so you know your pets are happy. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, secure, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I’m Kristina thompson! I’ve grown up with 3 dogs 2 big and one small and have been dog walking and dog sitting for 5 years now! I’m currently a freshman in college and have a pretty flexible schedule with my classes! I’m happy to walk dogs almost any time of day! While I can’t take dogs in, I’m more than happy to take them on long walks and hang out with them at the clients home!

About: I'm a lifelong cat owner and recently adopted a 6-year-old Newfoundland/German Shepherd mix who's the bestest boy. I'm a frequent pet sitter for my aunt's high-energy black lab, and love hiking with my pup. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or just needs a buddy while you're away, I’m happy to help. I genuinely love animals and treat every one like my own. I'm currently working part-time, so I'm available Monday-Thursday from 1:30-5pm (potentially earlier or later, depending on location), and all day Fridays (although Friday I will be working, just remotely). I have availability on weekends as needed, I'm pretty flexible. When caring for pet in your home, I treat your fur baby with the same love and attention I’d give to my own. I will follow your routines and preferences, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, litter duty, or just hanging on the couch. I always double-check doors, gates, and instructions to keep your pet safe and your home secure. Your pets will get plenty of love and attention while you're away.

About: I love making pets feel special through walks, playtime, and photo shoots! In addition to my beloved family dog (age 6) I’ve been helping to care for neighbors’ pets while they’re away for most of my life. I have just moved and am currently working from home with a flexible schedule. I’m confident that we will be able to find a suitable time especially as the weather cools. I have a car and am happy to make home visits to take your fur baby on a walk or just keep them company. I have recently discovered the joy of homemade purées for lick mats and other enrichment toys (keeping dietary restrictions in mind, I would never feed your pet anything that isn’t authorized). Because my apartment is on the smaller side, I’m better set up to visit you. However, if you have a cat or a small dog (apartment rules) I am happy to host them for a short stay.
