About: Hello, I was raised with every pet from dogs to snakes. While I am new using Rover, I have done pet sitting all throughout my adult life. I love all animals and hope to spend time with yours! I have taken care of cats my whole life but have spent the past few years in school for law and showing dogs professionally. This comes with experience in whelping litters, emergency and primary vet care, transport, nutrition, conditioning/exercise, training, cleaning and general care for dogs. I also have fostered for many years in both California and Arizona which comes with experience in temperament evaluation and training, medications, quarantining pets when necessary and working with very young and very old animals. While I have a lot of experience in taking care of pets, I respect that everyone has a right to do it differently, and keep an open mind in how to care for pets. I always follow directions from the owner even if they conflict with how I take care of my own pets as long as it is not directly harming the pet. I am currently on a year long break between undergraduate and law school, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet(s) and drop by as needed. I always prioritize the pet's happiness and wellbeing. While I love interacting with cats, I am also totally understanding if there is a cat that wants space. I also am aware from prior pet sitting experience that sometimes a pet can behave differently when their owners are not home, so I try to take every precaution when it comes to their safety. I am aware of the foods and plants that are harmful as well as what a cat can safely play with. I also know how to properly clean and sanitize messes that a pet can make such as urine, feces and vomit. I have worked with raw pet food so am well versed in how to minimize contamination. I also have strict sanitation procedures from my dog showing days that I always follow between handling different pets. I also always carry with me a basic vet care bag and am able to treat light burns, small cuts and flush out eyes if need be. In the case however that any medical assistance may be necessary, I always check with the owner beforehand with what they want me to do.

About: I love making pets feel special through walks, playtime, and photo shoots! In addition to my beloved family dog (age 6) I’ve been helping to care for neighbors’ pets while they’re away for most of my life. I have just moved and am currently working from home with a flexible schedule. I’m confident that we will be able to find a suitable time especially as the weather cools. I have a car and am happy to make home visits to take your fur baby on a walk or just keep them company. I have recently discovered the joy of homemade purées for lick mats and other enrichment toys (keeping dietary restrictions in mind, I would never feed your pet anything that isn’t authorized). Because my apartment is on the smaller side, I’m better set up to visit you. However, if you have a cat or a small dog (apartment rules) I am happy to host them for a short stay.

About: Since the age of 5 I have cared for just about every type of pet; from your typical dog and cat to the more unique pet like rats, ferrets, and guinea pigs, and even back yard animals such as chickens or tortoises. If you have it then I can confidently and comfortably care for it, including any “high maintenance” pets or ones with any special needs. My only exception is reptiles or any other pet that requires live feeding. Sitting is my full time job, so I will be with your pets in your home for the majority of the time of the sit. I’ll only need to leave once per day to return to my apartment to feed my bearded dragon. Your pets will be my priority while they’re in my care, and will receive all of my attention and affection in your absence. I’m very much a homebody, so I won’t be leaving the house except to go back to my apartment to feed my pet. You can expect to receive many pictures from me of your babies being sweet and adorable, to help you when you’re missing them.
