Hello! I love dogs and appreciate their company whether they are calm and cuddly or active and enthusiastic. I grew up with a sweet black lab and have since grown to love all dog types and sizes. I am an active person myself, taking walks and runs and would just as soon have the company of a dog with me. Old or young, your dog and I will have a good time. I grew up with a dog and realize how much time and attention they really need. I have dog sat for multiple dogs at a time, taken care of dogs at the owners home, and taken a dog into my own home while the owners were away. Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover since a child. I grew up with a friendly black lab in the family whom I loved and took on walks and wanders in the woods. I have dog sat for various dog in the past, for up to a month at a time and became great friends with them. While a student in Alaska I learned how to run sled dogs and spent time at a kennel where dogs were trained for the Iditarod. The winter of 2017 I worked as a dog handler, caring for and mushing 36 Hedlund huskies. I'd love to get to know your dog as well and become friends with them too.
