A pet fits smoothly into my weekly schedule. Although I work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, I wake up early for morning routines and am fully free after 5:00 PM for evening care. My job is extremely flexible if an animal ever needs mid-day attention. Weekends are ideal, as I have full availability to provide attentive care all day and night. When pets enter an unfamiliar setting, I give them a quiet room to adjust at their own pace, maintaining their normal routine with periodic check-ins until they feel safe. In their home, I stick strictly to their schedule and give them space to relax. Every animal is different, so whether a pet is cuddly or standoffish, I respect their boundaries and offer love on their terms while keeping you updated on feeding, outside time, and behavior.

She also watered plants, both inside and outside, and they flourished while we were away. She left our home in good order and was very dependable. I highly recommend Jenna.”

About: I have been petsitting since I was a teenager and it is something I look forward to doing each time. Over the course of my childhood, my mother worked at a wildlife rehabilitation center and was also the director of a cat shelter, which allowed me hands-on interaction that deepened my understanding of the behavior and body language of a wide array of species. I have experience administering oral medication. I have not yet needed to provide meds via injection but have witnessed it being done many times and would absolutely be capable once given a demonstration. Alongside cats and dogs, I am also experienced in caring for reptiles, rodents, arachnids, fish, rabbits, and chickens. I am very comfortable around exotic animals and am always looking to expand my repertoire. I would be delighted to meet and care for your pets! I am currently self-employed and make my own schedule. I will be taking college classes part time this fall, but I will still be available 7 days a week. I am unable to offer boarding in my home. I will happily travel to you and will offer overnight, drop-in visits, or walks as needed. Updates and pictures will be provided daily so that you always stay in the loop. I am familiar with the 24 hour vets in the area in case of emergencies or I can happily use a preferred location.

About: I already walk dogs that aren't mine almost every day of the week! I often walk two of my neighbor's dogs at sundown. I don't have a dog and I appreciate their companionship when I get to spend time with them. I actually feel sad for the dogs I walk past every day who I know don't get walked because I know they live for it. I have a blanket and doggie seatbelt in my car just in case I find a stray dog. Hey, it happens! I met my favorite dog, Happy the Corgi, when I saw him walking down my street. I yelled, "Hey, can I pet your Corgi?" Now I'm friends with my neighbors and get to watch Happy when they go out of town! 💕 I plan to do drop-ins right after work during the week. I get out at 3 PM. I will walk dogs whenever it's cool enough for their little toes! My goal is to have a few steady clients but be flexible enough to add new clients on because I know how it is to want to jump on a plane to go somewhere fun and not have to worry about your pets for the week/weekend. I wake up at 0300 and my cat, Fish does figure 8s under my feet until I pick him up. I have to carry him around the house to do my morning routine. I change out their water bowl, they're crunchy food and prepare their wet food. They have the run of the house until I get home from work. Most nights I walk my friend's two dogs as the sun goes down. I walk about 4 miles every day and it's always more fun with the dog!
