“Sydney is remarkable. Jasper adores her and she is so adaptable! Had bathroom renovations going on and she not only supervised the workers but also had to drive home for showers. Such a blessing!”

“Thank you so much for watching over our babies. I felt super comfortable since we did do a meet and greet before the actual babysitting. She sent pictures every day and we really did feel like they were in great hands. Will definitely book again.❤️🙏🏼”

“Danielle stayed in my home for 5 days with my 2 dogs and 2 cats. She took great care of them- one of my dogs needed unexpected antibiotics which she just worked into their routine with ease. The house was in perfect order upon my return, my animals happy and healthy. Fantastic job and lots of pictures and feedback! Thank you so much Danielle!”

“Couldn’t have picked a better Sitter. Alyssa, was fabulous. She took care of the house and Rudy and was a true friend to our pooch. He is very happy to see us, but also sad that Alyssa is gone.”

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and learned to care for my own pets at a young age. I have experience with young and old dogs and cats and am good at loving them but also knowing what’s best for them and their needs. I am available early morning and late nights every day to provide love and attention to all pets. I make sure that I visit twice a day everyday and spend quality time with the animals. I have a fenced yard and crate train my personal animals to allow new friends to feel comfortable with being in a new and strange environment
About: I really just want to make sure that your pets and house are taken care of the same way I would take care of mine if not better. Ive been a sitter of dogs, cats, plants, and axolotls so i have a pretty good idea of how to make sure your pets are happy as possible while you have to be away I’m a botanist and work regularly 7am-4pm M-F, your pets would be the last things I see before work and the first after. I have 6 sweet kitties at home that I make sure are well exercised, fed, and loved. I wish to get to know your pets and make them as comfortable and entertained as possible. All my cats get wet and dry food, we have cat trees, multiple water fountains, maybe too many toys and even a stroller to see the world in. Here in the desert pet hydration is my number one concern, especially after treats and exercise. My partner and I push for cat hydration through occasionally mixing churu in water bowls (they love it). For dogs I will never leave the house with them without water and a bowl. I grew up here in AZ and my family dog and I have ran many miles so I know when to look for the signs that your pet needs a break, water, or to turn around. LGBTQ+ family
“My kitties adored having Annette here. She clearly loved them up - Clyde followed her everywhere! She tended to my home as if it were her own and enjoyed the pool - as anyone staying here should:-) I would have her back again anytime.”

“We’re so glad we found Elizabeth! We felt at ease leaving the dogs with them because they are caring. They sent updates, pictures, and videos of our dogs which gave us peace of mind. We were a little bit worried because one of our dogs is a rescue who does not trust people immediately, but he felt so comfortable with Elizabeth and they were great with him. We’re lucky to have found Elizabeth on rover and hope to have them watch our dogs again in the future! Thank you Elizabeth!”

“Amber did a wonderful job taking care of my wonderful dog Wes and my temperamental cat muffin. I felt they were safe and in good hands with Amber. She took Wes to the park. They had quite a few outings, she really loves animals.”

“Terrific experience. Sara is experienced, understanding, and very committed to the best care for your fur baby. She makes sure there is a solid connection and understands the needs / requirements for your animal. She communicates well and puts your mind at ease during the absence. Highly recommend using Sara when you have the need!”

“Hope is patient, kind, thorough, and a creative problem solver. Our cat is fairly unlovable, but she managed to do so! We are so thankful for her time and positive energy.”

“Adriane was great with our two furbabies! She was responsive to emails and provided us just the right amount of communication while we were traveling. We loved the daily updates and would highly recommend and plan on rebooking for next time.”

“Thank you for taking such good care of our Bailey Kaitlyn. We appreciated all your photos and your regular updates. Bailey is looking forward to having you hang out with her again!”
About: We adopted my mixed dog Leo 5 years ago. Being with him all through covid I got to learn everything about him from his body language to his groan sounds and emotions. I enjoy taking him on walks and letting him sniff the world around him, even having the best convos with him it feels like he give the best advice ;) Dogs should be walked everyday more than once sometimes, fed 2-3 times a day, bathed every 1-3 weeks. Then of course playtime happens randomly then love and attention is always. I think keeping the dogs attention and making sure you see when they might bolt to call them off is the trick. Other than that I think dogs are very smart and often know what they are doing and what we might be trying to tell them, then leashes stay on outside, and I like giving treats for good behavior and sometimes randomly for being so awesome.
“Margret took very good care of our cat, dog, house, and plants! She’s professional, experienced, and great with communication. She sent updates and checked in when needed to make sure our pets were well cared for.”

“The babies loved having Mary house sit with them while we were away! She kept us updated and sent lots of picture while watching our 3 cats and 1 dog. I came home to 4 happy pets. Our l shy cat even came out and cuddled with her! I will definitely book with Mary again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Westside Development
Our pup is 120lb Boerboel and Maddison was excellent with him. We had newly adopted him and only had him 4 weeks when we needed a sitter. She had experience with giant breeds which was a great match for us. He was nervous and scared of her at first, but she was patient and thoughtful with him. By the end of the week, they were having a great time. She sent tons of pictures and was excellent with communication! We will definitely be requesting her again.

Evelyn is fantastic! ❤️ We definitely will recommend her and we will book again soon with her! She is sweet, responsible, professional and communicative. My dog Leo was sick and she took care of him. This gave us so much peace while we were traveling. She send us videos and photos and that was a plus! Thank you Evelyn

We feel very fortunate to have Dakota caring for our home and our fur family (1 big old dog, and 2 cats). He cared for them and sent us updates and pictures everyday as to how things were going at home, and specifically, with our fur family. We came home to a clean home and pets who were happy to see us, but not at all stressed. We will definitely call on Dakota again, and we're relieved to have a plan should we choose to leave home for business or pleasure going forward. I certainly imagine you would have the same experience with Dakota!

Helena was an absolute delight! She met with us beforehand, which was helpful because we have an anxious dog and we have never left her alone with someone she doesn’t know. While staying at our house, she took care of our cat, and the birds we feed too. She did an impeccable job! We returned to a house that was perfectly in order, and to animals that were well loved Highly recommend!

If I could give more stars, I would! Tali is the best! He came on board to stay at our house over the holidays and made best friends with our dogs. He took excellent care of them, including medication and a dog that sometimes hunger strikes when we’re away. He was attentive, reached out with questions, took great care of our house and put our minds totally at ease! What a pleasure — A hidden gem of a human being, for sure!
