I’ll love them like my own!
I’ve been caring for dogs my entire life and genuinely can’t imagine a home without one. I’ve owned dogs continuously (with the exception of a few quiet years after my soul dog passed), and am comfortable with all the day-to-day care dogs need. From walking, feeding, bathing, administering basic medications, to caring for dogs who are sick, anxious, or need a little extra patience, I’ll give your dog the same care and affection that I would give my own. I’m attentive, calm, and highly observant, which means I notice small changes in behavior and take them seriously. My goal is to give both you and your dog(s) peace of mind while you’re apart.

Helena was an absolute delight! She met with us beforehand, which was helpful because we have an anxious dog and we have never left her alone with someone she doesn’t know. While staying at our house, she took care of our cat, and the birds we feed too. She did an impeccable job! We returned to a house that was perfectly in order, and to animals that were well loved Highly recommend!
Getting a sitter was a great idea, it really let us relax and enjoy our trip knowing we could leave our dog at home and not bring her to a kennel. Helena was fantastic, she’s very friendly and our dog took to her very quickly! She gave frequent updates and when we returned everything was exactly where we had left it. We would definitely hire Helena again in the future!
Helena is an amazing dog mom to her own dog, Cider. She treats every pet like family, and makes sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Any dog in her home will be a happy pup!
Helena loves dogs. She is a dog whisperer, seems to understand their personalities and connects with them instantly. She has been around dogs since her birth and it shows. She took care of boxers, and, puddles and has her own rescue dog Cider who is adorable mix. When dogs are with Helena they just don’t lay on couch all day but rather play walk enjoy each other and have lots of laughs. Dogs in her care seem to enjoy the stay with security, food, water, plenty of love, belly rubs and hugs. Highly recommended.

I have a very flexible schedule and can easily accommodate pet care throughout the day or week, including early mornings, evenings, and short-notice requests. I build my routine around the pets I’m caring for, so walks, drop-in visits, and check-ins are never rushed. I’m reliable, responsive, and happy to adjust timing as needed to fit your pet’s usual routine.

I understand that inviting someone into your home to care for your pet requires a great deal of trust. I’m calm, nonjudgmental, and deeply respectful of personal space, belongings, and routines. I follow all care instructions closely, keep your home tidy, and provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Most importantly, I care for every pet with genuine love, patience, and attention, treating your home and your pet with the same respect I would for my own.
A typical day
I know how important mental enrichment is for a dog, especially if they’re the anxious or high-energy type! I entertain your pets in a variety of ways, from taking them on walks to coming prepared with puzzle toys and playing fun games with them. I’ll ensure they stay active and engaged during your absence!
