“Law took great care of Nacho on his walk. Sending photos throughout and was extremely communicative. Would definitely feel confident to have Law take Nacho on walks again :)”

About: I've been on and off Rover as a sitter and walker for some years now. With my guy getting older, I'm no longer boarding or doing day care, but everyone needs a walk and a visit, even me! I'm good with small to midsized doggos. I'm not a big enough human to wrassle your mega-doodle when he decides he's gotta go have a word with that squirrel! Happy to feed, water, sit in the yard with, and/or wander West Seattle for a stretch and sniff with your four legged bestie. I'm very patient with slow movers or those who need time to read every single message left around the 'hood. Get in touch if you need drop-in visits or walkies. Thanks! I work at home, pet care is easy and flex. Typically we walk early, play outside mid-day, and might do a late in the day walk if weather and energy permits. I have a fenced yard where dogs get to spend time in the sun and barking at people walking in the alley, if they need to do that. Meals are on schedule, walkies are flex, scritchies are on demand.

“Just started consistent dog walking during the day with Nick! So happy to have found someone we can trust and count on during the work week while our 7 month old is at home. He’s been incredibly responsive, reliable, and already going above and beyond with our mid day walks. We know that our pup Binks is in great hands and we’re so grateful!”

“Pogo is very shy but warmed up to Skippy very quickly! We’re very happy with our experience so far and look forward to many more walks with Skippy! Thank you!”

About: I’ve been taking care of home and neighboring, dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, fish, and reptiles since I was >10 years old, and training and living with my two lovely Service puppies for the last year! Happy to help in your new pup journey - or to walk and adore your best buds when life gets full! I am learning and living with 2 puppy Ridgebacks, and we are out on longs walks regularly while I work from home. Happy to either include your pup in our adventures or to come and give them special attention all of their own! I am primarily available from 9-12 and 3-6 most days in the week, with flexible weekend availability from 3-7pm. I have two big teen Ridgebacks who love to sniff and hike and play with others, or I can come and give your furfriend specific attention and walks in their own home and neighborhood.

“Kirsten is wonderful! Extremely knowledgeable about animals and a joy to arrange our walk with. You can tell she loves animals and will treat yours like they are her own!”

“JuJu had an amazing time with what will be his future walker/sitter/etc. Prompt pickup and amazing communication. Amazing pictures documenting his walk. Solid 10/10 will be using again.”

“Tim was very helpful as this was a last minute request. Very communicative, sent pics, and “Edgar” came home happy and ready for a nap! We will have Tim again as a regular! Thank you so much!!”

About: Hello! My name is Fran. I am passionate about caring for animals and ensuring they receive the love and exercise they need. For longer walks, I typically cover at least three miles with high-energy dogs, providing them with thorough physical activity. For shy or reserved dogs, I take a gentle approach, allowing them to sniff and get acquainted at their own pace until they feel comfortable with a stranger taking them on a walk. I have experience working with a variety of dogs, from large, strong breeds to small house pets. Whatever your dog's needs may be, I am committed to providing appropriate care. I carry dog treats and am happy to accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions your pet may have. I have also worked with dogs that are sensitive to the rain, offering quick potty breaks and companionship during inclement weather. My background includes experience working in an animal shelter and rescue environment, caring for animals from diverse backgrounds. I look forward to working with your dogs and the opportunity to meet them. Fran I currently work 6AM-2PM Monday thru Friday, and 11:30-8 on the weekends. I have two cats of my own that shouldn't take away from anytime from yours. I have one orange tabby cat who is 6 now. He is a love bug and loves to cuddle on our laps all the time.

“Sophia is fabulous and flexible which is super helpful when things come up! She was able to gauge my dog’s needs with the heat wave and alter their walks to accommodate for his needs!”

About: I have owned & cared for multiple cats & dogs (& chickens) over the years. Most recently I cared for 2 cats & 2 dogs who lived to be 16-19 years old, so I am quite experienced with & really love senior animals. I am available after 5:00 pm on weekdays (M-F) and usually all day Saturdays and Sundays — to accommodate your schedule and care for your pets. As a homeowner myself, I know how critical it is to ensure that visitors are trustworthy & respect your property & the animals that live in it. I pride myself on consistent, positive communication, professionalism, & integrity.

About: With over 5 years of professional dog sitting under my belt, I’ve cared for breeds of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from high-energy huskies to senior chihuahuas with special needs. I specialize in building trust quickly, maintaining consistent routines, administering medications when needed, and giving pet parents true peace of mind. Whether it’s overnight stays, daily walks, or extended care, I bring a calm, loving presence that pets feel safe with—and clients always notice. I can’t wait to meet your bestie and beloved fur friend! Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I structure my day around the specific needs of each pet—whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening feedings and companionship. I prioritize consistency and make sure every pet receives the attention, exercise, and comfort they need. Because I plan ahead and limit the number of clients I take on at once, I’m able to give each pet the focused, quality care they deserve. While I don’t offer pet care in my own home, I’m more than happy to look after your pet in the comfort of their home. I find that pets feel more at ease in familiar surroundings, and I’m committed to maintaining their routine with reliable drop-ins, walks, and personalized care.

About: I have had lots and lots of experience with all different types of animals and pets, and I have heard feedback from many clients and family members that I make their pets feel safe, secure, and loved. Animals are my passion, and I love taking care of and protecting them. I have had a lot of experience with pets with disabilities, health issues, and senior animals. I love to walk and hike with my dog at home, and I would love to take your pets on adventures, or just enjoy time together at their home! I am very flexible and adaptable :) Animals are my favorite things in the world, and I dedicate most of my time and energy to them, like taking care of my own dog full time. I love meeting new animals, and have had so many great experiences with animals and pets! Please feel free to ask any questions, I am here for YOU! I have a corgi, and she is very high maintenance, so I know how it is to work with animals that need lots of love and help. I make taking care of her part of my daily routine, and it is one of my passions to protect and care for her. I care for pets at home by giving my pets lots of outdoors time, play time, treats, walks, and exploration, as well as lots of pets and love. I will follow all rules given to me by a client, and will take care of your pet like they are my own! I believe all pets deserve the best care possible.

About: A lifetime of loving dogs, I have two now, a springer and a doodle. They get along with everyone! We will have fun! I will take good care of yours too. I’m around to walk and sit dogs and to board houses no problem! I’m a retired federal employee! This is what I do now! Looking forward to meeting you! I have a fenced yard. My furniture is worn in. The car is reliable and safe. I’m available at your place or mine. Just let me know.

“Brandee was so wonderful with my senior dog. We met before the walks started and she approached my dog with such care. Understanding my pup likes to exercise her nose more than her legs, Brandee tailored the walk to ensure my dog used the bathroom and caught up on the smells of the neighborhood. Brandee is highly recommended for daily walks!”

About: i’ve taken care of my own dog for 10 years, and love him to death. Would do anything for him I love him so much I currently live at home will my dog, i love to take him on walks and take him to the pet store with me if he is lucky. I care about animals very deeply and will do anything in my power to make them feel very happy and comfortable and most importantly safe.

About: Dogs teach us some important life lessons, like being in the moment and doing what makes our tails wag! I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and each one has been unique and amazing. Many people say dogs aren’t aware or are even “dumb”. I couldn’t disagree more, and I strive to listen to each dog and meet them from a place of respect. Engaging with a dog is a partnership that I adore. I had dogs growing up and at times as an adult (not right now). I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I enjoy snuggle time, play time, hiking, taking them swimming, and also letting them relax and do their own thing. I am a Reiki Master healer and work with humans and animals. I am also quite intuitive, which is helpful in understanding cues and meeting animals where they are. I’d love to care for your dog(s), and if house sitting will take incredible care of your home/plants/dogs. I am detail oriented, very respectful, and a wonderful communicator. I look forward to working with you and your pup(s)! I work from home Monday through Wednesday and at a retail location in West Seattle Friday through Sunday. I am up early in the morning about 6:00 AM, and am typically in bed by 10:00 PM. I’m generally around quite a bit aside from my retail job. I will not bring guests over while housesitting. I do not smoke. I do not currently offer pet sitting in my home. I can come to your home for all services and am comfortable with whatever setup you have. If you have a cat, I will need a cat and cat hair-free bedroom to sleep in due to allergies (which I can manage well in the home but just need an allergen-friendly bedroom).

Arbor Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Chelsea was great! My dogs obviously loved her the second she walked in the door at our meet and greet. She was reliable, flexible, thorough and thoughtful. Great reports and super tolerant of me and my picky things (puppy’s first times out of her crate while I am gone for an extended period of time) and scheduled time that I got confused. Thanks Chelsea! Will definitely book again.

We were away from home for over 2 weeks and it was the first time we could be truly at ease while on a trip knowing that our pups would be taken care of! Jennie came regularly and kept us up to date on what was going on. The pups always looked happy in every photo. And sure enough, when we got home they were happy and healthy! Thank you!

Dylan has been exceptional!! She’s a great communicator and always goes the extra mile to make sure Khona feels comfortable. My dog is very anxious and now anytime she hears Dylan call her name for a walk she’s over the MOON excited! So grateful to have her for weekly walks(:

Lucas is amazing! He took extra time to meet with our 2 year old American Akita before we were away. As she is a young and hyperactive Akita in training, he was amazingly patient in getting to know her personality traits as well as sticking to our training while we were away. We are very happy to find someone we trust for future walks! Thank you Lucas!
