“Allyson was an absolute lifesaver! She was able to watch our cat on very short notice and accommodated us so quickly and kindly. From the start, she was thoughtful, prompt, and followed all of our directions perfectly. This was our first time leaving our little fur baby, and Allyson immediately put us at ease. She truly is a cat whisperer. Our cat is usually shy and hides from new people, but he came out right away when she arrived for her drop ins! That alone says so much about her calm, welcoming presence. She made our cat feel completely comfortable. Allyson also sent us daily updates with multiple pictures, which we really appreciated. She was a joy to work with, and we will definitely ask her to pet sit again in the future!”

“Izabelle did a great job taking care of Toby while we were away. She was reliable and prompt in arriving for his care needs. It was great to see her report cards with photos attached. Would hire her again.”

“Kelley was awesome! She showed up on time everyday, she left detailed notes about the dogs and their activities during her visit and the dogs loved her! Definitely will be contacting her in the future!”

“incredibly thankful to Emily for taking such good care of my kitties while i was away! she had great updates, took lots of pictures, and seemed to really give them lots of love while i was gone! :-)”

“Brooke was so great to work with. She was able to help in super short notice, and went above and beyond to make Moey feel comfortable. Will definitely be reaching out to her in the future.”

“Carley is the best! She cared for our elderly dog and 2 kitties while we were on vacation. She was punctual, had excellent communication, the photos helped the whole family miss our pets less. We felt confident our furry family was getting the best care possible while we were away. Highly recommend!!!”

“Samantha provided drop-in visits and dog walking for our English Springer Spaniel, Francis. She was timely and professional in her care for our pup while we were away on a 5-day vacation. We are so very grateful for her prompt responsiveness to our booking request, and her excellent service. She will definitely be our "go-to" in the future!”

“Sydney was amazing! We had never used a Rover to come and care for our dog so we were a bit nervous that she would be skittish around strangers. But Sydney provided great updates and our dog loved her and was well taken care of. Would definitely use Sydney again!”

“Erin you are amazing! On time, friendly and respectful. I booked last minute and she was available to come take my pups out for their bathrooms breaks. She was even able to put her D1 skills to test when one of my pups got out the door. August literally gave her a run for her money lol. Even after that happened she was in great spirits. Again I’m sorry August did that lol. She’s a character 😅. I appreciate you and will definitely be reaching out in the future 🫶🏾”

About: I know how energetic dogs are, and I am as well so we’re a perfect match! I can keep them entertained while they are also making my day so much brighter! I am a full time student but classes do not take up much of my day! I love to go on long walks and I can entertain any dog for hours. I can do late afternoons and mornings, as well as nights if need be. I have 2 dogs at home, but here at college I do not have any pets. My apartment does allow pets so it would be no problem to have them over:) I also have the option of a fenced in yard if your little pup prefers to run around freely.
About: As an Animal Science major, nothing matters to me more than the animals in people's lives! I used to work at a Doggy Daycare for a year in which I cared for and played with dogs of various ages and sizes on a daily basis. I have previously work at two vet clinics in the area, where I hold and care for patients, as well as prepare and give medication - so I've had my fair share of working with different furry friends throughout the last couple years! I had 2 dogs growing up; a Newfoundland-Boarder Collie mix named Zoe that I adored, and now we have Maddie, which is a Collie mix! I have 2 cats of my own, but am definitely more of a dog person! I look forward to meeting your fur babies! I currently work full-time right. However, I have plenty of free time on weekends to spend some extra time with your four-legged family members! If house sitting, I don’t have much to do in the evenings, so I am home after work to relax (and play) with your furry friends! I like to spend as much time as I can with your furry friend while you are away, to make sure they feel at home and like you never left! Any toys or particular routines you like to do normally, I will do my best to incorporate into the visit for the best experience possible!
About: I have been dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting since I was in high school! I also worked for 3 years at a general practice veterinary clinic, working with animals boarding at the facility to provide them care. I have also worked 2 years in the ICU of the Small Animal Hospital at Iowa State, taking care of patients. I am currently working part-time, so I have lots of flexibility with my schedule when it comes to housesitting, walking your dogs, or any care you might need! I am happy to play with your pets, take them outside, and ensure they have company! I cannot care for pets in my own home (territorial cat, oops!) but more than happy to hang out in your home and ensure your pets are happy and taken care of.
About: I have always loved animals and caring for them. I grew up taking care of mostly dogs, but I have experience with other animals like cats, goats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I love meeting new animals and helping care for them. I am currently a student at Iowa state but am available all day Tuesdays and Thursdays and weekends. I’m available in the afternoon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I cannot provide boarding because of the pets I have at home, but I can visit pets or stay overnight with them at their homes. I’ve stayed in ankeny overnight a few times but prefer to stay in Ames due to my classes being in the morning.
“Ashley was wonderful! She was able to take care of our pups on short notice and sent tons of pictures! Our dogs loved her and she took great care and played lots of fetch! I absolutely recommend her and will be using her again!”

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and have experience taking care of both dogs and cats. Over the past six years, I’ve been responsible for feeding, walking, playing with, and providing general care and attention to my own dog. These last few years I’ve also pet sat for my family members and friends, taking care of their dogs and cats. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and ensuring that they feel well taken care of and loved! I am currently a student at Iowa State University, but everyday I have breaks or long stretches of time where I can drop in on and take care of your pets! I always ensure that I go over with any rules/boundaries with clients and to ask about any additional care towards the pet (like administering medicine). I like to know whatever works best for you and your pets!
“Stephanie was very good about keeping us informed. We got pictures, some of which are hilarious. Personally, I didn't believe her when she said TomTom missed us, but he sure was vocal when we came home! And it was all happy noises. Thanks!”

Courtney D.
“Courtney has been a LIFESAVER for us. Whether she’s just stopping by to let the dogs out quick or staying to hang with them it is so nice to know they are getting the attention they need. Courtney goes above and beyond. She will take our dogs on walks and out to play fetch. She always leaves our house cleaner than she found it too, which is a big BONUS for me!”
Teagan W.
“Teagan is an amazing pet sitter and has watched my cats and dog several times. She always goes above and beyond in making sure they get the proper care whenever I've been gone. I also worked with her in a vet clinic situation and she was wonderful with all levels of pets that we saw no matter how big or small, their temperment, ect. She isn't afraid of the more "troublesome" pets and is always glad to find ways to make sure the animal's needs come first!”

Savana P.
“I have known Savana since she was born and she has ALWAYS shown a love, care, and respect for all animals. She’s even gone vegetarian since a toddler protesting to show how she didn’t want to harm animals anymore! ❤️ She is currently in collage to become a veterinarian which is an added bonus of safety and comfort. She has always been around my pets from dogs, ferrets, even my reptiles and handled them all with love and care as tho they were her own. Wouldn’t have anyone else watch my furbabies and none furbabies.”

Deborah was so responsive and thoughtful. She spent the time to earn our shy cat’s trust, even when we weren’t expecting him to show himself at all. He usually dislikes strangers but he was very affectionate toward Deborah! We will definitely be booking again.

Emily is a conscientious and dedicated sitter. She cared for my old cat, making sure he was comfy and his daily medications were given on time. She also sent thorough updates and photos so I was kept in the loop and felt at ease while I was away. From our first meet and greet, Emily was professional and asked all the right questions. It is easy to see that she truly cares about animals and takes her role and responsibilities seriously. Highly recommended.

Sydney was amazing! We had never used a Rover to come and care for our dog so we were a bit nervous that she would be skittish around strangers. But Sydney provided great updates and our dog loved her and was well taken care of. Would definitely use Sydney again!

Jeanette was amazing! There are very few people I will leave my baby boy with. She did amazing. She was willing to come and meet him and he is high strung but she was still willing to deal with his size and personality. We will be requesting her if we need again.
