I have weekends off so if you need someone in Home more on the weekends, I can do that as well. About: I’ve taken care of pets since as early as I can remember. We’ve always had dogs and cats since before I was born, and I grew up loving to be around them any time of the day. My mom used to dogsit for neighbors and friends when I was little and I used to always come with because I enjoyed meeting new furry friends! So that was my early experience with caring for dogs as well as helping my parents with my own. As I grew up I’ve dogsat for multiple neighbors and friends/ family members and I enjoy it! Even if the dog is grumpy or antisocial I respect the dogs boundaries and I enjoy being around them still! I also have experience with older dogs and helping them get up places (ie the couch or off the floor if needed) and also changing dog diapers. Would also be happy to administer any medication necessary! I’m currently working part time so I’ll have lots of time in my schedule to check in on them or walk/ play with your pets! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8. I’ve had many pets of my own, including 3 dogs, 7 cats, a tank of fish, a hamster, and a tortoise. My day brightens up when a dog crosses my path and I was always make sure to give each dog the utmost attention and love. I’ve had midsize to large dogs, but have dealt with many personalities including those that are anxious, cuddly, detached, etc… I am available most weekends and weekday evenings to take your dog out for a walk or to spend the day with your dog! I can be more flexible depending on your schedule as well. I have an enclosed space and hardwood floors for the pet to comfortably roam on as well as an additional patio gate to prevent the pet from leaving. Additionally, there are a lot of green spaces and sidewalks near my place for a walk.

Melissa quickly learned my animals' routines and showed up like clockwork twice a day, to walk and feed them as I requested. This was so much easier on them than going to a boarding facility. Radhika did a great job taking care of my cat Mimi. When I got home yesterday, Mimi was sitting next to her brush as if to say brush me like Radhika does! Mimi is a diabetic and takes an oral medication for her diabetes that must be given in a specific timeframe every day. Radhika made sure she got her drug every day at the same time and when she got a little fussy about taking it, she reached out to me and I gave her advice on how to entice her to take her pill. I would definitely use Radhika again.
Melanie and Skye (mother & daughter) make a great team. They are friendly and personable and obviously love cats. They were careful to ask about any special needs, habits (or toys) and sent lots of pictures during their drop-in visits. I was happy to know that, while I was away, both of my cats were getting the best care and attention.
