About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. For more detailed availability, please see my public calendar https://calendar.app.google/1EpS26QNofEFAmsH7 Your pet's safety is my #1 concern. With that in mind, I will only walk when the weather permits. I will give them time to take care of their business and plenty of play time when the weather does not permit a walk.

“Sharon is absolutely WONDERFUL! She was able to accommodate a last minute request to care for Nala. Nala is a high anxiety dog and I always worry when I have to leave her. She immediately came up to Sharon during the initial meeting and showed no anxiety. Sharon let me know how my dog was doing and her behavior. Sharon was on time and provided excellent communication. 100% recommend Sharon.”

“Zoe was great! We needed someone last minute and she was able to do a meet and greet the following morning and then took the dogs on a walk that afternoon. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone to watch after their pups!”

“Karra walked my dog for three consecutive afternoons on very short notice. She was extremely responsive and communicative. I would definitely recommend her support and will look for her in the future!”

About: I’ve grown up with many dogs ranging from Dachshunds to Pitbulls. I love helping my dogs stay active and comfortable. I would love to care for your pet, small or large, in your time away! I work a few days a week, so I am able to care for your pet through drop-ins and walks Monday-Friday from 6am-9pm. With at least a one day notice, I will make sure to prioritize your pet in my schedule. For drop-ins and walking, I will make sure to check on all of your animals needs and anything else pet related that you would like while I am there. I would love any tips to help care for your animal while I am with them!

About: I have dog-sat, cat-sat, and walked dogs of all ages and sizes since I was a kid, for friends, family members, and neighbors. I am willing to travel outside my town to provide services. I am also very comfortable with caring for more exotic animals, as I grew up spending my summers learning to ride horses on a farm with goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits and the like. Rural locations are very acceptable to me, as I have no phobia of insects or snakes. I have plenty of time every day of the week to care for pets, including early mornings and late nights. Many weekday mornings I will be unavailable for up to 3 hours total, usually from 8-11 AM. I also work part-time Monday evenings. I can care for your dogs just as I do my own, with plenty of exercise and attention as needed. I am used to “moody” animals that may want some space, and can keep less social pets safe on walks in busy neighborhoods. I am also very comfortable being as hands-on as necessary with pets; I can crate/collar/bathe as needed.

“Katie did a wonderful job dog walking our Bentley. She played with him tons & was patient with him on his walks. Her notes & photos were great & we can tell she genuinely loves animals & caring for them. We look forward to using Katie again.”

About: I have 3 dogs in Houston that I have sat for countless times. I’m relied on by countless family friends to take care of their animals and make sure they are not only fed, but loved. I am currently a full-time student at Stephen F. Austin University and an intern at Grace Bible Church. I have free nights that I can spend taking care of YOUR pet. I give them constant love and attention, and also meet their needs in a very timely manner. I’m not the kind to just sit around with your animals (unless that’s what they want of course).

“Alixandra was great with Cody! He looked forward to her visits and daily walks together! She also sent me photos of him. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Would definitely use her again :)”

I specialize in nervous or fearful rescue dogs. I am very knowledgeable about dog body language, consent, and fear-free training and care. About: Hello, My name is Sydney, and I’m excited to offer my services as a pet sitter through Rover. Animals have always been a big part of my life—I currently care for 18 pets, including dogs, cats, chinchillas, a bearded dragon, and chickens. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, care routines, and the importance of providing individualized attention to each pet’s unique needs. I am comfortable administering oral medications and have experience caring for senior dogs, including those with mobility challenges or special health considerations. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, a gentle stroll, or some extra TLC, I’m committed to ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for in your absence. You can trust that I will treat your pet like one of my own—offering patience, affection, and reliability. I am also happy to provide regular updates, photos, and any special care requests to give you peace of mind. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry (or scaly or feathery) family members and ensure they are happy and comfortable while you’re away. Best regards, Sydney I work during the week Monday through Friday. On Mondays I typically work from home, so I’d be able to do drop ins on Mondays, and on Fridays I work in the office for a half day, so if you go on a weekend getaway I could start earlier on Friday afternoon. I also am off on weekends, so I have full availability then. I can also do evening check-ins any day of the week. When going into someone else’s home, I make sure to follow any rules that the family has in place for me. When caring for a pet in someone else’s home, I don’t mind spending extra time with their pet as I know sometimes animals can get lonely and miss their humans. I will be sure to make sure they are well fed, always have water, get lots of pets/snuggles, and I’ll be sure to send updates and photos. If there is anything wrong when checking on your pet, I will be sure to let you know immediately and will take your pet to a vet.
