“Sidney did great with handling our dogs and cat through our "getting to know you" visits that we set up, and we agreed the last walk was not needed prior to the longer pet sitting, so "review" saying a dog walk was cancelled is not a negative on Sidney, just not necessary but she didn't cancel it electronically soon enough. She did a great job with the pets and will be happy to arrange for her to sit them again on future occasions.”

About: We adopted 3 baby kittens in Feb 2020. They have grown so much in 5 years! They are curious, have a lot of energy and get into everything :) We also took in a male stray cat who was malnourished and we nursed him back to health and he has heen part of our family for two years. Before that, we adopted 2 adult sibling cats that we had for over 10 years. We have 2 adopted rescue large breed dogs. We adopted Luna in October 2024 and she is already 90 pounds and only a year old! She is highly prey driven so we have experience with dogs that are harder to walk. We adopted Bonnie from a rescue in May 2025. She is a year and half old and is from a rescue in Mexico. She was quiet and shy at first, but after a couple of weeks her playful side began to show and she spends hours wrestling with her sister Luna and loves to play tug of war. We have experience with very active dogs. I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool my 2 children. My high school daughter will help me on the weekends and nights, so the pets can have twice the attention. My husband works from home so I am flexible if needed during the day for drop ins. I am a former elementary teacher and school librarian and spent 15 years caring for students of all ages, so I can provide the extra care and patience for your pets. Unfortunately at this time we aren't able to provide care at our home. But we would love to come to your home where your dog or cat is comfortable and give them extra attention and the daily care that they need.

About: I've walked many good dogs and some who are also good but like to give me trouble! I'm a large man, the heaviest and strongest of dogs would find me a challenge to drag along. I will pull the leash as little as needed and keep them distanced from any issues, and I will do my best in a tough situation. I love to bring treats so they can get to know and play with me! I'm cheaper than others and provide a better service for less. Thank you, have a good day! I grew up with pitbulls, dachshunds, chihuahuas, labs, German shepherds, mixed breeds, etc. I have taken care of dogs & cats at all stages of life and with many different needs. I am comfortable with watching your furry friend even if thet need medication or special attention. I can provide walks and exercise throughout the day for your pup so that you don't have to worry about it. Please note-No longer accepting NON neutered males in my home, nor am I able to host cats at my house. I have an 8yo and 1.5yo who may possibly have to attend walks and drop ins with me. Usually my only obligations are sport practices & games throughout the week. When staying in my home, the dogs and I hang out around the house, play, eat, and relax. Weather permitting we will also go on A LOT of walks or adventures in my car. All activities do depend on what is requested from the owner. If they are not allowed on furniture they do not get to be on furniture but I will make them their own comfy bed on the floor

About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your fur baby is being cared for by someone who will be reliable, safe and loving makes leaving them a lot easier. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals and knowing their humans can leave them with the confidence they're going to be safe and loved makes me very happy! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, just coming to visit and say hi, to pet owners who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.

I have made exceptions for last minute bookings when I’m available. At our meet and greet I’ll ask what their normal routines are and all their likes and dislikes. At my home our routine is; wake up, morning potty, enjoy a human-grade breakfast, another potty break, nap in mom's office. Playtime kicks in around noon, followed by post-lunch potty and another nap. We then join mom in her office, demanding attention, before yet another nap until the next break. Potty, Dinner, and Cuddles. Then one last potty before bed. We’re kinda couch potatoes in our home.

But at a clients house I feed accordingly to the instructions I was left and give their fur baby as much cuddles and love as they’ll allow me to.
