About: I offer housesitting with many years of experience with petting and as a Property/Estate manager in Montecito and Santa Barbara now San Diego. I only watch one family of pets at a time. Your pet will be treated as family. We go on hikes, beach days, walks, play outside in the yard and go to parks if these outings are appropriate for your pet. About this sitter: Really love what I do and the animals I care for. I grew up with many animals. My parents bred Doberman Pinchers. I love playing with the dogs, I believe it keeps both myself and the animals I watch happy and healthy to play out doors as much as possible. I also love to cuddle with the animals, they are so sweet. All the animals that come to visit us are treated as part of our family. Why I love dog sitting I grew up on a large property in San Diego with Doberman's, Germain Shepherd/collie mix and my grandfather raised Rottweilers. I just adore dogs and cats. About: I grew up with standard poodles and other animals, so animal care as always been a big part of my life. I've worked as a vet assistant and kennel tech where I assisted with exams and took care of boarded animals at the clinic. Some were boarded for a few days or while the recovered from surgery. I handled things like giving medication, baths, feeding and walks as well as cleaning the kennel facility. I've extended that same standard of thorough and compassionate care to all aspects of dog care, ensuring their care and well-being is the top priority! I have a flexible schedule and I can walk your dog several times a day as needed and they can play in the backyard, lounge on a covered porch or stay indoors. I also can take them to Dog Beach for exercise and a swim if you like. I live in a house on a quiet street, in a pet friendly neighborhood along Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach. I have a large backyard and side yard that locks and a shady covered porch. Your dog is more than welcome to stay inside the house the entirety of their stay as well.

Over the years I’ve enjoyed helping neighbors and friends with their pets whenever they’ve needed an extra hand, whether that’s daily walks or extended stays while they’re out of town. “Okay for starters, Evan is already a GREAT care taker for my pup, but this week, she went ABOVE AND BEYOND. My dog apparently got sick in the 4 hours between me leaving the house and Evan showing up and he was covered in diarrhea when she showed up. Instead of leaving him covered in crap and leaving his crate full of crap, she thoroughly cleaned max, his crate and made sure he had everything he needed along with his regular walk. If that is not a blatant display of reliability, kindness, professional caretaking and a genuine love for animals and their well-being I don’t know what is.
