About: I absolutely love dogs and cats. My boyfriend and I just adopted a kitten in September and I help my best friend take care of her dog all the time, feeding him, walking him, going on runs with him and loving him! I grew up with two cats at my family home that I love so much and I really just love all animals so much. I would be luck to have the opportunity to care for and spend time with your dog or cat and am always reliable. I hope you chose me to care for you pets :) I work full time but am fully remote and often have a lot of free time and flexibility in my days making me pretty much available at any time! I live in a two bedroom apartment in downtown Wilmington with my boyfriend and have recently adopted a kitten. I am very clean and will treat your space as my own, which means it’ll be kept just the way you had it or better!

“Jenna is sweet and patient. It was such a relief to know Tucker would be taken care of when we couldn’t be home. She walked him and sent a nice update with photos.”

About: I've been a pet owner all my life. My goal is to form a close bond with your pet to provide them with a sense of security. I'm a retired executive assistant and currently have plenty of time on my hands to devote to your furry friends needs while you are away. I will spend time in your home giving your pet(s) the attention they need. This includes following the owner's specific care instructions and offering interactive playtime.

About: I love getting to know each dog’s personality, quirks, and needs! I have a high energy rescue dog (border collie/australian shepherd). She has helped me learn so much about mental stimulation and caring for a dog’s individual emotional needs. I prioritize enrichment activities, walks, play time, and mental stimulation during my time with your pup. I promise to take care of your dog as I would my own ❤️ I will do whatever I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, happy, and loved! I work part time, so I have a very flexible schedule! Also, my work is mainly remote, so I am able to be present with your pup throughout your time away from them. I have a fenced in yard, and I always stay with dogs when I take them to the yard to make sure they are safe :) I have a friendly dog who would be happy to keep your dog company (or I can keep her in a separate space if that is better for your dog). I keep a safe, clean, and peaceful environment for any dogs boarding in my home. If I come to your home, I make extra effort to respect your space, be mindful not to track in dirt, and follow all instructions closely.

About: I have enjoyed taking care of our household pets since I was young. I have experience walking and working with dogs of various sizes. I’ve worked as a volunteer animal handler for Eagle's Den Animal Haven & Rescue, where I worked with puppies and abused animals to get them socialized, leash trained, and comfortable with people. I also have experience doing long-distance animal transport through volunteer work with Wheels4Paws and a job with New Start Animal Transport. Through all of this, I have found a passion for working with animals and I look forward to meeting you and your pup. I'm currently working part-time in the evenings. My normal start time for that job is 5:30pm. So, I'm available most days from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and late evenings after work when house/pet sitting. I try to maintain the same kind of care and routine that you have gotten your pet accustomed to. This includes sleeping arrangements, diet, feeding times, play times, and walks.

“Katie has been a great walking buddy for our dog Paxton. She is always quick to respond to booking requests and flexible with our needs as well as Paxton’s.”

“Angie was great with fudge! She stayed in communication with me and sent lots of pictures to update me on my boy while I was gone.”

“Ashton was absolutely fantastic with our young dog, Ellie. It is clear that she adores dogs and will treat all furbabies with as much love and care as she does her own. Ellie became a little under the weather (through no fault of Ashton’s) and Ashton went above and beyond to make sure she was safe and feeling like herself again. What could’ve been a bigger issue was under control very quickly due to Ashton’s care and attention. We were so thankful Ashton was there to help and felt so much better knowing Ellie was in such capable hands. We would absolutely love to work with Ashton again and cannot recommend her enough!”

“Millie did such a great job walking my rescue silver lab, Belle. She took the time to get to know Belle during the meet and greet and asked really good questions. When walking Belle, she arrived on time, communicated well, and was able to redirect Belle, who often struggles to stay calm when other dogs are nearby. I highly recommend her and willing be using her services again!”

“We highly recommend Lauren for all of your dog’s care needs! Our golden doodle throughly enjoys when Lauren comes to visit, walk and play! Undoubtedly, playtime is her favorite and the pictures speak volumes of fun!”

About: We are passionate animal lovers with years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We understand just how important your furry family member is to you. That's because we've been there ourselves. After losing our own beloved dogs last year, we decided to open our home to other dogs in need of love and care. Our home is the perfect place for your furry family member to feel comfortable and at ease, while you're on vacation, at work, or away for any reason. We offer various services to meet your pup's needs, including feeding, walking, playing, and administering medication if necessary. In addition, we have a spacious and secure backyard for plenty of playtime and exercise, and we'll ensure your pup gets plenty of love and attention throughout the day. We understand that leaving your beloved pet with strangers can be stressful, which is why we make communication a top priority. We'll provide regular updates and photos of your dog's stay, so you can rest assured that they're happy and well cared for. We know that some dogs can become stressed or anxious when in the company of other dogs, so we provide a stress-free environment for your pet. We can provide an environment with no other dogs around. Your pet will feel safe and secure in our home. If you have a socialite of a pup, they can come along for our walks, beach trips, or even playdates with friendly neighbor dogs. Schedule a time for us to meet. This allows us to tailor our care to your pet's unique needs and preferences. We'll take the time to get to know your furry friend, their personality, and their habits, so we can provide the best possible care and attention. I work from home so we can accommodate your dogs schedule and provide extra attention. We often do beach or river walks in the evening is the weather permits. If you pet has anxiety or needs extra care, we are accommodating and understanding. We will do whatever we can to limits fears and make them comfortable. We have played special music that calms our pet visitor to only vacuuming while the pet visitor is on walk.

Wilmington dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ashton took wonderful care of my dogs! She was easy to communicate with, highly responsive and even came early for a meet and greet to ensure the dogs (and my) comfort. My dogs loved her and she tired them out while I was at work. It was so awesome to not have to worry about them and have them taken care of! I highly recommend her-two thumbs up!! 👍👍

Millie did such a great job walking my rescue silver lab, Belle. She took the time to get to know Belle during the meet and greet and asked really good questions. When walking Belle, she arrived on time, communicated well, and was able to redirect Belle, who often struggles to stay calm when other dogs are nearby. I highly recommend her and willing be using her services again!

Jessica does an amazing job with my dobie/shepard mutt. I have used her numerous times for walks when I have aAl long day at work and would highly recommend! I recently moved and it has been 6+ months since the last time she came for a walk and Jessica took extra time to get my dog to warm up and be comfortable (she can be shy) and sent lots of pics and updates.
