About: I have given care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am comfortable with all personality types, and sizes. I also have experience with cats, as an owner and sitter. I currently am dedicated to pet care and services for the summer. Book me now! I currently work on a part time basis but I generally make my own schedule. I can dedicate as much time as needed to caring and playing with your pets! I put animals above most people. I have a fenced in yard. Leash always on if the door is open. Door always closed if the leash is off. I also have a pet first aid book and carry supplies on me.
About: I have a house where I can provide individual or group care for dogs. I co-own a dog named French Fry, who has been a significant part of my training experience. I am available for boarding on weekends, starting Saturday morning and continuing until either Monday or Tuesday evening. Additionally, I have availability during certain holiday periods. I have a partially fenced-in yard and a metal crate available for dogs if needed. I follow any instructions that pet owners provide. I have a peace and calm environment for dog care.
“Sarah took great care of Pongo! She kept us updated with lots of pictures and you could tell how much she cared about making him comfortable and giving him the best time while we were away. Definitely will look to her to care for him whenever we need a sitter!”

“Jessica took great care of my girl Cora. She is super sweet and I could tell Cora made herself right at home. Her kitty was also part of the welcoming committee 😂. She was flexible on drop off/pick up times. I would definitely use Jessica’s services again!”

“Amazing care for your pet! Goes well above and beyond to make sure your loved one is happy and well cared for during your stay. I am visiting from out of state and had a last minute need and didn't think my little one would want to leave her and her new friends as she was having so much fun (seen in all the pics and updates Bronwen sent me:)!”

About: I have a 4-year-old chihuahua-Shiba mix at home. I have good experience with dog of difference sizes and habits. Personally I walk my dog 3 times a day. I would do the same to guarantee they have enough activities every day and stay active. I will be in trolley square area for the whole December including Christmas and New year’s Eve. I would be available anytime through the whole week from Dec 18 to Dec 26. Apart from that, I’m available after 5pm during weekdays and 10am-6pm during weekends. I would make sure I know enough about the pet beforehand and learn their habits. Meanwhile, I’ll walk them at least 3 times a day and provide them enough food (of course treats too)
“We had such a great experience boarding Moxie at Kelly’s house for 5 days! Before we left, she reassured us that she could confidently handle Moxie’s behavioral quirks (occasional possessive behaviors with other dogs). Moxie is an active dog and Kelly provided plenty of opportunity for outdoor time and play. She sent frequent updates and pictures and kept our pup safe during a tornado warning! We would definitely book again :)”
“Amy and Cathy are great pet sitters! My mini dachshund, Mickey, stayed with Amy and Cathy for 3 weeks while we were away for a vacation and home renovation. Mickey was very happy there. Amy and Cathy have a very nice home and yard for him, plus he has fun with their dog, Shana! Highly recommend the team and would definitely use them again!”

“Sara took a great care of our little guy. She gave timely updates and I can see that our Leo had so much fun and comfortable at her place. I would definitely keep our little guy with Sara again.”

“Bernice came home a happy and tired pup after a week with Brian and his family! We received pictures and updates throughout the week, letting us know she was safe and happy, and definitely in her glory with her new pup friends! We’ll definitely be using Brian again!”

“Adriene was fabulous! My cockapoo seemed very comfortable and at ease. Adriene sent multiple daily updates and photos. She was very flexible. This was my first time using Rover in the area and she made the experience seamless. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Steff was excellent with my dog Moe. She is a very nice person and took excellent care of Moe. She sent pictures and kept us informed throughout the day. I highly recommend her and her husband Josh.”

“Jordyn is fantastic with dogs! Her calm and loving personality was a great match for our hyper “still-a-puppy” at three years of age goldendoodle. She is one of the best sitters we have had! She made our dog feel at home in her home and we could not have asked for more. I absolutely recommend booking with her!”

“Candice and her girls took such great care of our 16 month old Mini Aussie. Daily pics and updates were never asked for but always appreciated! We could tell our pup was well loved in our absence, and I swear he came back cleaner and smelling fresher than when we left him, and the property was so nice and serene we’d love to stay there ourselves and I’m not joking; Hah:-) Thanks so much Candice and we’ll be back for sure!”

“Chris was wonderful with my 5 year old French bulldog. I was very hesitant initially to use rover as my dog is very needy and high energy. He would usually go to doggy daycare while we are away to keep him occupied. However, a recent back injury prevented him from going. I hired Chris with very short notice. She took exceptional care of my dog, sent lots of photos and updates while we were away. She even went out of her way to make arrangements to stay an additional day when our flight home was canceled. It was wonderful and reassuring knowing that my dog was getting such great care and attention while we were gone. I would rehire Chris to watch my dog again in a heartbeat!”

“Eleanor took amazing care of our dog! She was very responsive, sent updates, and treated him as if he was her own dog. She has a big yard for your dog to run around! We will definitely be using her for future dog sitting needs!”

“Aaron took very good care of our 2 Puggles. He clearly loves dogs and treated them as if they were his own. Very responsive and kept me updated with photos and videos. Will definitely use his services again!”

I love having Nick and his family watch my two dogs. They always seem to come back from their stay happy and exhausted. His kids also seem to get along well with both my dogs. Its nice to know that when I do have to leave my dogs when I go on a trip that they are in a loving and caring home. I highly recommend Nick if your ever in need of a dog sitter.

Chyann, was an amazing sitter for my baby. Beanie stayed with her for a week and throughout the entire stay she kept me updated with pictures and insight into how he was doing. She’s one of the more informed sitters on this platform and following our meet-and-greet I was completely sold on choosing her as a sitter. With the updates, smooth transition for drop-off, and Chyann’s warm personality I was completely at ease and confident throughout the boarding process. I’d definitely recommend choosing Chyann!

Samantha took great care of my dog Ivy while I was out of the country. She provided photos and messages to let me know how she was doing. Most importantly she made my dog feel safe and secure by providing her with lots of attention while I was away. I had never left my dog at another house before so I was not sure if she would be comfortable, but she did great. Thanks so much Samantha!

Alberta watched our 17.5 year old cockapoo for 2 weeks and took such great care of her. Our dog has some minor health issues and also requires diapers and Alberta had no problem taking care of that. She had great enthusiasm for watching senior dogs when we first met her and we felt like we were leaving our girl in excellent hands. We received updates throughout our trip and she was always timely when responding to our messages. We would definitely reach out to her first if we ever needed someone to watch our dog again. She was excellent and you should consider her when looking for a sitter.

Angie was fantastic! We have never left our dog with anyone other than family so were a bit nervous but Angie provided daily updates and pictures to put our mind at ease. Ripley seemed to have had the best time with Angie! We will 100% book Angie again. We feel so lucky to have found such a great dog sitter on Rover- Thank you Angie!

Monique was available when I needed someone immediately. My regular sitter was away and I had a family emergency. Monique was wonderful. As Mina became acclimated to her, Skye, and their dog, she had a really good time over the Halloween holiday. Monique sent me pics of Mina in her Halloween costume that were really cute! Mina was well taken care of and I am hoping that Monique will be available again in the future. Thanks, Monique and Skye!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in DE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
