When you fur baby is with me the first thing I will do is make sure that they feel safe and not threatened. We will go out in the yard for a while and then they familiarise themselves with the downstairs. They are free to go upstairs wherever they wish. They may get on the furniture, I allow them to hang out wherever they feel comfortable. We take frequent outdoor bathroom breaks and if weather permits, we go for walks.

Information Rita T. would like to know about your pet
Dog drop offs can be between the hours of 8 am and 7 pm in the evening. I will occasionally make exceptions for special circumstances such as travel plans. The more information you can provide about your dog including pictures the better it helps me to determine if your dog is a good fit for my house. Please take a few moments to fill out your dogs bio information including pictures before you submit the request to me.
A typical day
I generally try to take cues from the dog visiting me to determine what activity would suit them best. We can walk in my neighborhood which is lovely and quiet, and I am in very close distance to Brandywine Park. And also visit a nearby dog park though I would keep them on a leash, not let them run free. I believe in tailoring the activities to the dogs physical capabilities.

Pet care experience
Since I was a child, and I saw my first large white fluffy cat in my relatives yard, I've been enchanted with cats and shortly dogs followed. I love them all. I am a natural born nurturer, and it comes very easily for me to provide for them as best I can! For the past decade the bulk of my experience has been with senior pets and pets with canine cognitive disability. I love taking care of your kitties too! And administering medications is no problem.

Reviews

As always, Rita is awesome with our super anxious lil guy!
Rita was wonderful with Louis. He felt right at home and she took very good care of him!

Rita, as always, is amazing with our cats! We have a big crew, some with medical needs. Rita always follows instructions very carefully and it’s clear she enjoys spending time with our pets. We come home to happy pets!

We appreciated how Rita was able to look after our kitties last minute. Thank you!
