“I’m so grateful for Steffani and her family for taking care of my girl Cora like she was their own. This is the 2nd time she has stayed with them and I have no worries when she is there. Cora is the sweetest girl you will ever meet but she can be a bit needy and high energy. They handle her so well and I can tell from the pictures they send that Cora feels right at home. Thanks so much Steffani and Josh (and Levi too☺️)!”

“We've been entrusting Kate to watch our needy, senior pup for the past couple of years, and there is no one we trust more. She provides regular photos and updates, and she is firm and proactive with dogs who need a little extra structure and support. Belle loves going to "camp" with Kate while we're on vacation!”

“Dana truly means that she will treat your dog like her own. She was super communicative , sending lots of pictures, and flexible as well. Our Riley girl had the best time with Dana and her dogs. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Patty was extremely thoughtful and sweet to my senior dog for a week stay. I didn't have to worry at all, and he came back nice and tired and happy. He even made a doggie friend during his stay! Plus, she sent me some really great photos of him.”

“Amy and Cathy were wonderful! We have a special needs dog who is diabetic and they were great administering the medication and ensuring that she was doing well. We got regular updates from them and felt good being away that our dogs were in such good care.”

About: I am a lifetime lover and owner of dogs. While other kids watched Saturday morning cartoons, I watched shows about dog training and dog breeds. I grew up around dogs of all types and have always loved having one by my side. Our family recently lost our dog, and while I’m not ready to commit to dog ownership full time, I miss having one around and want to help other families. I have experience walking different types of dogs that have varying levels of leash skills, managing special dietary and medication needs and can adapt to their activity requirements. If you have a dog that’s used to being part of an active family, or at least around one, I could be a great fit for you. I shared availability that accommodates long weekend boarding needs. This is when I consistently work from home or am off so that I can be around and give your dog the best care. You can expect regular breaks and walks for your dog on my work from home days. On the weekends, I will include your dog in my family activities. While busy, I am at our home base a lot, and much of the activity involves walking the borough, going on mini adventures in nearby parks, or hanging at our house with friends. Including a furry guest into my family-centered lifestyle is easy (and fun!) for me to do. I have a fenced in yard, live in an extremely walkable neighborhood, and have a gated off mudroom when your dog needs a little more space or down time. My kids understand animal boundaries well for their age and are used to respecting their space. While they will not be responsible for your dog’s care, they will be around. My cat is suspicious, but typically tolerant of dogs once he gets used to them.
“Andreah is great, she sent updates throughout my Dogs stay with her. I’m usually very hesitant giving my dog to other people and she helped put me in ease with her level of care. I think my dog had a really great time as well which is what really matters!”

“Loved her! She kept me up to date daily with a photo, video, or comments regarding my dog, Sadie. She was attentive to any concerns I had in the beginning as my dog has food allergies, and she assured me she would follow my instructions regarding her care completely. I will be using her again!”

“Carly was awesome had place to go out of town and other sitter canceled at last minute and Carly was able to watch my pup she was very good with her highly recommended five stars sent update pictures my phone had a lot of fun there no issues”

“Donte took excellent care of 2 of my dogs for 4 days. I was a little hesitant to book someone without reviews on Rover (he’s just starting in this platform) but he was very understanding, answered all my questions and I found reviews for his training services on Google. I felt even more reassured when I dropped off my dogs and saw him engaging with them in a genuine way. Donte was great at sending updates and videos of some of the training he did. I’ll definitely come back for boarding and continue training sessions.”

“OMG! Alyssa and Marcus were amazing!!! It was Sam's first time being away from home. I was super nervous because he can get a little anxious and I didn't know how he would adjust to being away from home. We thought about it over some time and Alyssa and Marcus were able to accomodate our plans last minute. Before the reservation was even finalized, they were so helpful and reassuring. They kept me updated throughout his stay with so many pictures and reassurances. It really put my mind at ease. Sam had such a good time with Zara, Alyssa, and Marcus...I think he was upset he had to leave! I can't imagine sending him anywhere else. I definitely weill be booking with them again.”

“Khaing took such good care of our beloved cat! As a first time Rover user, she was so helpful regarding processes on the booking itself, and of course how she would care for our Kitty. From her regular updates and photos, I can tell he had an absolutely delightful stay - and it was a vacation for him! Her set up is absolutely wonderful for a cat, with multiple cat trees and lots of engaging toys. Khaing is an excellent communicator, and a fantastic cat sitter with a big heart.”
About: I had dogs my whole life, right now I have a two old pup who is my little side kick. I will treat your dog just like mine! I have experience with dog walking, I have helped out friends, family and neighbor watch and walk their dogs multiple times. Also, knows how to administer medication via a needle as my family dog was diabetic and had to give her insulin twice a day for four years. I have a pretty flexible work schedule for during the week and have a lot free times on the weekends, I have a lot availability to help you with watching your furry friends! My dog is a little dog who is very friendly with other dogs and who is up to date with all his vaccines, we also have a crate if needed and a big backyard.
About: As long as I can remember I've been an animal lover. I grew up riding horses, working on farms, + living with no less than 3 dogs at a time in my house. As a kid I dreamed of being a veterinarian. I took in all sorts of animals that needed to be nursed back to health from birds + snakes to donkeys + kittens. It was a little like living in a zoo + I loved every second! I rode + trained horses competitively in high school. At 16, I qualified for the junior Olympic team in equestrian eventing. I’m now a mom, my own son is 16, and I own my own photography business capturing families + pets spreading joy + gratitude. Rover is a welcome addition to that career. I absolutely LOVE what I do + am thankful to have the opportunity to support myself + my son serving other animal loving families like us. I work remotely Mondays and Fridays. Tuesday through Thursday I’m in the office 8-5pm in King of Prussia. I’m typically available most weekends but can occasionally offer weekday evening bookings. Safety is a priority for me. I aim to keep your pets routine stable and comfortable so we stick with what they know and don’t try new things until trust has been built.
“Jessica took great care of my girl Cora. She is super sweet and I could tell Cora made herself right at home. Her kitty was also part of the welcoming committee 😂. She was flexible on drop off/pick up times. I would definitely use Jessica’s services again!”

“Laura is great. She clearly cared for Coda as she does for her own dogs and Coda had a terrific stay. I appreciate her knowledge of dog training which just adds to her skill set in handling and working with animals. We will be back”

Very good excellent, send pictures, Very lovely to the dog. very clean environment. My Dog loves her. I will recommend anyone if they need a dog sitter. Very professional individual. I was very scared to leave my dog for the first time with anyone, but I will do it again thank you so much.

Andres was a great boarder for our dog. He accommodated us when I booked wrong and added a day at the last minute. There is a nice fenced in area in the shade for dogs to romp in. I received pictures of my dog who seemed comfortable at Andres’ house. I would definitely use Andres again for boarding.

Ariana was an absolutely wonderful sitter for my mini dachshund, Dino! It was Dino’s first time staying with Ariana, and she did a great job making me feel reassured that Dino was happy and comfortable during his stay. Dino is already looking forward to his next stay with Ariana!

Piper couldn't have had better care (other than being with me). Aaron, Melanie and John treated Piper like one of the family. Loving, caring and understanding of her needs in a strange environment. If I have to place her with a family while I go away, to Aaron and his parents is where she will return to (if a spot is available). Thanks for the daily updates and pictures. Ease of mind made being away from Piper easier.
We are so happy that we found Meredith to watch our Sweetest Girl, Mollie ( Beagle) She was with Meredith for 4 nights and did great - from the minute we met Meredith we knew Mollie was in good hands! She sent us photos and gave us updates on her. We plan on using Meredith again and again….its nice to know we have a reliable dog sitter we can count on and she’s only 5 minutes from our house.

Beth was great with Maddy as always! So happy we have found someone we trust to watch our sweet girl, we know she is in good hands when she’s with Beth. This last visit was almost 2 weeks and Maddy needed daily medications for her arthritis and a UTI - Beth religiously made sure Maddy took all her meds every day.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
