“Bronwen took amazing care of my pup. Keep me updated all throughout the day during the time she was boarded. I can tell she loves Maple like one of her own dogs. Thanks again.”

“This was our first time boarding our dog, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chyann was incredibly sweet, attentive, and caring, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely loves animals. She provided regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was well cared for, comfortable, and happy throughout the stay. She has a natural way with animals and made the entire experience stress-free for both us and our pup. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, trustworthy, and loving environment for their dog.”

“Juliana was amazing with my 5mth old mini doxie puppy. Every thing is new to him, and I was nervous about leaving him for the wkd. She has the perfect home & yard and made him so comfortable, that I picked up a calm and happy puppy. I will absolutely take him back to stay with her.”

“Khaing is an amazing cat sitter! She took great care of our 4.5 month old cat, and he returned to us well-behaved and happy. She sent us daily photos and/or videos that showed our cat having tons of fun during playtime, or curled up in his bed or her beautiful cat tower. He ate well and drank lots of water during his time with her. We would be honored to let her take care of our cat again, she did a great job, and put our mind at ease while we were away.”

“Carly is truly an exceptional animal carer. During my dogs' weeklong stay with Carly, she provided thoughtful and kind updates with lots of photos about my buddies' stay with her. She was also very flexible and professional.”

“Andreah was so accommodating for our last minute request. Our dog was happy and tired from all the fun he had. I will highly recommended Andreah to watch your dog.”

“Donte was great with our 1.5yo Great Dane! We felt comfortable leaving him for a week and we were even able to add on some training to work on his leash skills while we were away.”

About: I am a lifetime lover and owner of dogs. While other kids watched Saturday morning cartoons, I watched shows about dog training and dog breeds. I grew up around dogs of all types and have always loved having one by my side. Our family recently lost our dog, and while I’m not ready to commit to dog ownership full time, I miss having one around and want to help other families. I have experience walking different types of dogs that have varying levels of leash skills, managing special dietary and medication needs and can adapt to their activity requirements. If you have a dog that’s used to being part of an active family, or at least around one, I could be a great fit for you. I shared availability that accommodates long weekend boarding needs. This is when I consistently work from home or am off so that I can be around and give your dog the best care. You can expect regular breaks and walks for your dog on my work from home days. On the weekends, I will include your dog in my family activities. While busy, I am at our home base a lot, and much of the activity involves walking the borough, going on mini adventures in nearby parks, or hanging at our house with friends. Including a furry guest into my family-centered lifestyle is easy (and fun!) for me to do. I have a fenced in yard, live in an extremely walkable neighborhood, and have a gated off mudroom when your dog needs a little more space or down time. My kids understand animal boundaries well for their age and are used to respecting their space. While they will not be responsible for your dog’s care, they will be around. My cat is suspicious, but typically tolerant of dogs once he gets used to them.

“Zenith cared for my dog from February 19–22, and I am so grateful for her. From the start, her communication was thoughtful and consistent. She sent sweet updates, photos, and videos that truly put my heart at ease. It was clear she treated him with genuine love and care, just like I would. I never once worried while I was away. I would happily book with her again and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone special to care for their pup.”

“Alyssa and Marcus are the absolute best! Sam always has a wonderful time with them and Zara! They are his second family and the excitement he has when we pull up to their home is unbelievable. It warms my heart every time.”

“Kate and Bill are the most fantastic dogsitters we've ever worked with on Rover. Kate is responsive and reassuring. During our meet and greet, she asked great questions and was proactive in acclimating my dog, Belle, to the space and making both Belle and me feel comfortable. I consider myself a neurotic pet parent, and this was the first time I didn't feel that knot of anxiety when I dropped Belle off with a new sitter. It truly felt like I was leaving her with family. Belle clearly had a great time with them and didn't show any of the separation anxiety signs we usually see from her when we return from vacation. Kate and Bill are 100% our preferred sitters from now on, and we will absolutely be repeat clients!”

About: I grew up taking care of cats and dogs, and am a current volunteer for multiple animal rescues. My joy is taking care of animals and making sure they are enjoying life to the fullest! My goal is to keep your animals happy while you need to be away, and providing you trust and reassurance your pet is in great hands. I work remotely from home which is a plus in providing 24/7 care. My schedule is flexible for potty breaks, dog walks, cat check ins, & feedings. I am available for dog/cat check ins while you’re away, daytime daycare, and overnights and boarding at my house (dogs only). For dog boarding, if your pup has special items that you feel would make their stay more comfortable, please feel free to send any additional items along (blankets, toys, dog bed, etc) I guarantee the safety of your pet, in your home or mine. For dogs, I ensure your dog is closely monitored and on leash when outdoors. For cats, your cat will be monitored and kept in your home. I will actively communicate with any concerns regarding your animal.
About: I have a house where I can provide individual or group care for dogs. I co-own a dog named French Fry, who has been a significant part of my training experience. I am available for boarding on weekends, starting Saturday morning and continuing until either Monday or Tuesday evening. Additionally, I have availability during certain holiday periods. I have a partially fenced-in yard and a metal crate available for dogs if needed. I follow any instructions that pet owners provide. I have a peace and calm environment for dog care.
“Liz is a great dogsitter. She took great care of our dog. She made sure our dog had a blast. She was also a great communicator and kept us in the loop during our time away. I highly recommend her.”

“Heather was wonderful with Sauce for his overnight stay! She was very communicative from the start and made time for a meet and greet beforehand. Her home was lovely and very pet friendly, and she asked lots of questions to make sure Sauce would be comfortable, well cared for, and a good fit in her home overnight. While we were away, she sent pictures and kept me updated on how Sauce was doing and what he was up to, which gave me great peace of mind. Heather was super pleasant, easy-going, and clearly thoughtful about the dogs she cares for. Sauce seemed happy and comfortable with her, and I would absolutely use Heather again.”

“Ariana was AMAZING with our 2 boys. She was pleasant from the start all the way to the end. They were so happy when we picked them up. She sent photos of them on walks, playing, relaxing and just enjoying the company of such a warm hearted person. HIGHLY recommend her!”

“We can’t thank you all enough for taking such good care of Candy❤️ And for being so understanding of our circumstances It is a huge weight off our hearts to know candy has a home away from home in the future Thanks again Francine, Heidi and all”

“Thanks so much Paloma! Chip is a giant 8 month old puppy with a lot of love to handle--I know it takes a kind, understanding person to put up with him. Thank you for taking such good care of him and going above and beyond to accommodate my travel. I had a great vacation because of you!”

“My dogs had a great experience with Cathy. I am very picky about their care and she treated them like members of her family. The backyard was lovely and fenced. They came home happy and healthy. I would definitely book again.”

Andres was a great boarder for our dog. He accommodated us when I booked wrong and added a day at the last minute. There is a nice fenced in area in the shade for dogs to romp in. I received pictures of my dog who seemed comfortable at Andres’ house. I would definitely use Andres again for boarding.

We are so happy that we found Meredith to watch our Sweetest Girl, Mollie ( Beagle) She was with Meredith for 4 nights and did great - from the minute we met Meredith we knew Mollie was in good hands! She sent us photos and gave us updates on her. We plan on using Meredith again and again….its nice to know we have a reliable dog sitter we can count on and she’s only 5 minutes from our house.

We have been bringing our dog to Bronwen for a number of years. When we pull into Bronwen's driveway, Trixie jumps right out and runs to get into Bronwen's backyard without a backward glance. She loves going to Bronwen, and we get lots of updates. Trixie can be a picky eater, but Bronwen always gets her to eat. Trixie comes home tired and happy. Highly recommend Bronwen!

Beth was great with Maddy as always! So happy we have found someone we trust to watch our sweet girl, we know she is in good hands when she’s with Beth. This last visit was almost 2 weeks and Maddy needed daily medications for her arthritis and a UTI - Beth religiously made sure Maddy took all her meds every day.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
