I am experienced in administering medications, including oral medications and injections/shots, and I do so carefully and confidently according to your veterinarian’s guidance. I maintain a clean, pet-safe home, free from hazards, and I take extra care to ensure doors, gates, and shared spaces remain secure. Small pets are welcome to enjoy free access to the main living area, including cozy couch cuddling, while always being monitored to ensure their comfort and safety. I prioritize positive experiences, gentle handling, and clear communication with pet parents, so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for, safe, and truly loved while you’re away.

About: Hello! I am a studying veterinary technician at Purdue University! I've also have done work at both boarding facility's and doggy day cares. I have had training in handling, playtime, walks, designated diets. Everything you can think of to keep your pet happy while you are away. While my schedule may vary during different semesters,it should mostly stay the same. I am available during most afternoons till later into the day. So I can take care of any potty breaks, lunchtime, or later day walks as needed. We have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space for the dogs to run around. The backdoor is a glass screen door, so it is easy to keep track of them if I need to step inside quickl; but I prefer to stay outside as long as I need to keep an eye on them.

About: Care and responsibility for animals were instilled in me from a very young age. I've taken care of dogs since having a Cocker Spaniel when I was 6 years old. As an adult, I have adopted 4 dogs - Cierno (Pitbull), Pumpkin (Staffie mix), Sweet Pea (Boxer - deaf), and Bodhi (newest Staffie mix). I fostered 11 dogs, over the course of 4 years, through Furkid Rescue. I was also a volunteer for Hello Bully for 3 years. Pumpkin served as a PitBull Ambassador, and I cared for and exercised the Pits at their halfway house. All of the dogs in my care have been given everything they need to be healthy and happy pups. I have extensive experience with bully breeds, elderly and deaf dogs. I recently lost my last 2 dogs - Pumpkin (15 years old) and Sweet Pea (12 years old) and added the love of a new puppy, Bodhi, in May 2023. Bodhi would LOVE to have a pup to run around the fenced yard, wrestle and play with. Your dog will be well cared for in my home while you are away! I walk Bodhi before I leave for work at 7 and when I get home at 4. I have a dog walker come M-H at 12:00 to take Bodhi on a 30 minute walk. If you'd like your dog to also be walked, let me know and I'll see if they're open to walking your pup too. Your dog will need to either come with crate or be ok to roam free in a room or the apartment. I don't have children so dogs are the beings that I raise and care for. I have a secured, fenced in, large yard, and a puppy for your dog to play and walk with. Bodhi has lots of toys to share, my pantry is stocked with treats and my house is full of love. Even with a yard, I know the importance of leashed walks so exercise is a priority in my home.

About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have only guinea pigs now, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. I have a pet-friendly townhouse community that I live in. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. In your home, if you prefer to have the dog walked nearby and/or caged at night, that will not be a problem.

About: I grew up with rabbits and various small pets. My first dog, Toto, was trained by me in elementary and middle school. Now, I spend my evenings caring for others animals whenever possible! I work 7:30 am to 3 pm as a teacher! My day does allow for a mid day visit, distance depending! Free every evening for walks and lots of attention! Experienced with crate trained dogs and more free range styles. Love building trust with animals and keeping their days typical and calm while their owners are away!

About: I've been watching the pets of friends, relatives, and neighbors since I was about 18. I've given insulin to both dogs and cats during my time pet-sitting. I currently own and care for two very spoiled female guinea pigs. During the week, I work full-time with a hybrid home/office schedule. On the days I am in the office, I do leave at mid-day to finish my workday from home. I can be available for bathroom breaks all throughout the day and go on walks/play with your pets in the evening. I work from a laptop, so I have the ability to relocate my workspace if necessary. I am able to provide all-day availability on weekends. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets. I’ve loved animals since I can remember from a very early age. I have one cat personally but take care of three dogs during my off time. No matter how big or small all animals can count on my expertise for the love and care they need and deserve. Currently in between jobs, I have all the free time in the world, I would love to stay with afternoons and nights however over night is no problem with me! I do not have a yard however there is a field that your pups can play in directly in front of my home. I do have a crate if needed as well as my own space for your pups if they need separation. My cat is very friendly and loves to cuddle with all animals but can put him away during your pets stay with me just in case.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life! All different kinds and sizes! I’m at school now and missing my dogs and looking to make a little money. Very flexible with pay! just adjusted from rovers recommended Very Flexible! I’m currently starting my sophomore year of college and looking to do some side work to make a little money. “Kirsten was absolutely amazing! Upon meeting her, I knew right away that I would feel comfortable leaving my kitten with her. She is very kind, pleasant, and has a great energy about her. She responded quickly to my messages, and was very personable from the beginning. I also greatly appreciate the fact that she is Vet Tech and has the professional experience of working with animals daily. This was our first time leaving our kittens for the weekend, so having her come into our home to check on them, feed them, and clean the litter was important for giving us peace of mind while we were out of town for the weekend. She sent many messages to let us know how they were doing. She was very thorough with providing photos and updates. We were so happy to have her there to watch over them for both of the visits. Also our kittens took to her right away and it seemed like they were comfortable with her as much as we were. I will look forward to having Kirsten watch over our kittens again in the future.
