About: I'm a lifelong animal lover from Wilmington, Delaware, and after retiring from 34 years in education, I decided to follow my heart and spend more time with animals. I've had all kinds of pets over the years—dogs, cats, even horses—so I know just how much they mean to us. About: I've lived with and cared for dogs for my entire life; I love all animals, big, small, young, old and anywhere in between, the more animals the better! I have experience with dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, and fish and I get along with all of them. I am available for early mornings and late nights as well as weekends. About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of pets in my own home including dogs, cats, birds, and a few reptiles. I love taking my dog to the woods for long walks (anywhere from 5-15 miles) so you can count on me not to slack on your pets needs. Amanda is the perfect sitter. We felt so happy that our dogs were with her while we were gone. Our dogs were so happy the whole time and Amanda sent us plenty of photos. She even stopped by for an extra visit because we had a flight delay. Our one dog is a big, excitable Rhodesian Ridgeback but she had no problem handling him. We will never use anybody else in this area to watch our dogs.
