About: I'm a lifelong animal lover from Wilmington, Delaware, and after retiring from 34 years in education, I decided to follow my heart and spend more time with animals. I've had all kinds of pets over the years—dogs, cats, even horses—so I know just how much they mean to us. I am retired after 34 years in education and have a flexible schedule that can meet your pets daily needs- morning, noon or night. Additionally, I have lived in the area my entire life so I am very familiar with the neighborhoods. I will visit your pets as requested. They will be walked responsibly and I will ensure they have fresh water and treats if allowed. If requested I will bring in the mail and any delivered packages.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life (Rottweilers, Standard Poodles, and Shih Tzu). I have cared for my bunny rabbit for 10 years and my senior shih tzu for 3. I love animals and treat them kindly and respectfully. Your pet will be safe and happy with me! I am available on Saturday afternoons to Sunday (available all day Sundays!) for overnight boarding. I am available before 8:00 AM, from 12:00 PM - 1:00, and after 5:00 PM during the week for a walk or visit. I live in a two bedroom, non-smoking apartment. The apartment complex is dog friendly. There is a fenced dog park and large yard for walks. My 10 year old shih tzu uses steps to get on the couch so those are available as well.

Amanda is the perfect sitter. We felt so happy that our dogs were with her while we were gone. Our dogs were so happy the whole time and Amanda sent us plenty of photos. She even stopped by for an extra visit because we had a flight delay. Our one dog is a big, excitable Rhodesian Ridgeback but she had no problem handling him.
