About: I'm a lifelong animal lover from Wilmington, Delaware, and after retiring from 34 years in education, I decided to follow my heart and spend more time with animals. I've had all kinds of pets over the years—dogs, cats, even horses—so I know just how much they mean to us. Additionally, I have lived in the area my entire life so I am very familiar with the neighborhoods. I will visit your pets as requested. They will be walked responsibly and I will ensure they have fresh water and treats if allowed. If requested I will bring in the mail and any delivered packages.

“Christa was a life saver. I can never fully enjoy my vacations because I think about my little guys alone in a boarding facility. I have a special needs dachshund named Maui. She's paralyzed in her back end and needs her bladder manually expressed. Very few boarding facilities will accept her. Christa came to our home three times per day, loved on, played with and cared for our three dogs and our parrot. I've never come home from a trip and found my dogs so happy and relaxed and clean. About: I have a lot of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds, including working at a barn where I help care for 9 horses and give riding lessons, along with experience around dogs and other pets. I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any specific care requests. I’m very aware of my surroundings, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are always supervised and safe. I also keep you updated so you feel comfortable and know your pet is in good hands.

About: I’m a devout animal lover with three dogs of my own including a senior and one cat. My dogs range in age from 5-11 and weights of 11lbs to 55lbs. My cat is 7 years old and a tabby. I will care for your pet like its my own. I work remote but I’m available in the morning, some afternoons, evenings and weekends for drop-ins, walks, etc. I understand that you may have urgent needs to so I can adjust my schedule (where available) to accommodate. I always check the outside first when I’m doing a drop in to make sure its safe for the dog to go out. With cats, I like to sit with them for a bit to give them a chance to feel me out before I feed them. If we’re walking, I will find out from the owner what are the suggested routes so that the dog feels comfortable.

About: I’m a responsible 26 yr old and I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. I’ve got over 5 years experience walking/sitting dogs. I’ve got 2 beautiful dogs, Storm & Groot, a silver lab & labordoodle so I know how important your 4 legged family members are to you. I know how important it is to provide high quality care for your dogs. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I try to make myself available 7 days a week and provide the love and care that all dogs need and deserve. I believe exercise is an important element to your dog’s physical and emotional health. We have 2 dogs with a fenced in backyard for them to enjoy the outdoors. I also think it’s also important for dogs to walk the neighborhood to become familiar with the area should one happen to get loose - I’ll teach them how to get home. I’ve also got experience with dogs required to be crated. I believe all dogs have different needs & desires, which is why I adapt to each dog with love and respect.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager making my experience 6 plus years. I’ve watched young dogs, to older dogs that require more care. I love going for long walks, swimming, hikes and lots of other activities! I make sure pet is safe, loved and well taken care of. I always strive to make sure not only the pet is happy but the owner too! I will be doing rover full time! My schedule will be flexible for dog sitting or walking! Your pet will have full attention!! I’m available early in the morning to throughout the evening. I live in a 1,000 sqft home next to Ceder Park. The house is specious and kept cool, great for any sized dog! The pets are allowed furniture and more than welcome to sleep with me! The neighborhood is pet friendly! Even has a green belt walking trail!

About: I’ve been pet sitting for a little over 10 years and I have worked on a farm for about 6 years. I have taken care of many animals from exotic birds to farm animals to house pets. I enjoy animals a ton and would love for more opportunities!
