I work remote so I am able to give your dog lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog will be able to take potty breaks every two hours in the fenced-in yard and spend time outside. We typically go for walks in the early morning and late evening. My Rover calendar is updated daily so that I can support any urgent needs, when available.

Boarding & Daycare: My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home! I only board one dog at a time so that I can give them adequate, individualized attention all throughout the day. You will not find a sitter in Wilmington that is as attentive as I am. My pets are kept separate during boarding. Your dog will have access to the entire first floor and the fenced in-backyard. I have a dedicated bedroom for boarding where I can sleep with dogs who may have separation anxiety to ensure they are comfortable. Drop-in visits & Walks: I‘ll take my time getting to know your dog and make sure they’re comfortable with me being there. I like to sit with them for a few minutes before and after each walk to feel out their energy levels. On walks, I recognize that this is their social time so I go at their pace and let them get plenty of sniff time. I am very respectful of your home and will follow your instructions closely.

Please share if there are any special needs or concerns with reactivity towards other dogs or aggression, any issues with chewing, etc. I have a reactive dog of my own so I have some experience here.

Weather permitting we spend lots of time relaxing on our shaded porch or out in the fenced-in backyard. Inside there’s lots of toys for them to play with and keep them occupied and I also play with them for 30 min to an hour. I typically leave soothing music on throughout the day to create a calming atmosphere for the dogs.

I’m a devout animal lover with two dogs of my own and one cat. Caring for animals is truly one of my favorite joys in life! My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home when they’re in my care. My senior dog recently passed from a rare lung cancer so I’m experienced in delivering oral medication, round the clock care and attention, and moving at their pace. Your baby will be well taken care of.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Chyann took care of our pup with such patience and love—especially when things got tricky. She was super attentive, thoughtful with our home, and even went the extra mile when she needed to bring our dog to her own place. We felt totally at ease knowing he was in her hands. Chyann, was an amazing sitter for my baby. Beanie stayed with her for a week and throughout the entire stay she kept me updated with pictures and insight into how he was doing. She’s one of the more informed sitters on this platform and following our meet-and-greet I was completely sold on choosing her as a sitter. With the updates, smooth transition for drop-off, and Chyann’s warm personality I was completely at ease and confident throughout the boarding process. I’d definitely recommend choosing Chyann!
