Pet care experience

Cozy and Luxe pet care

Hi, I’m Jenning. I provide private, in-home boarding in a quiet luxury apartment in Wilmington, DE. My space is intentionally calm, clean, and low stimulation ideal for dogs who thrive with focused, one-on-one attention rather than busy group environments. I have years of hands on experience caring for dogs ranging from energetic puppies to seniors with medical or mobility needs. I do not operate as a high volume sitter there are no chaotic group dynamics or overcrowded stays. Because I work from home, dogs in my care receive consistent supervision, structured walks, and a stable, predictable environment throughout the day. I prioritize safety, emotional comfort, and clear communication, with daily updates so you always know how your dog is doing. As part of my building’s amenities, I also have access to an on-site dog spa. Baths can be provided upon request, so your pup can return home clean and refreshed. I keep my client list intentionally small to ensure a good fit and a peaceful experience for everyone. Meet and greets are always welcome prior to booking. If you’re looking for attentive, reliable care in a calm, well managed home environment, I’d be happy to connect.

Doggy Day Care • Sep 04, 2025

Jenning is amazing! From the time I reached out she was responsive and quickly accepted my request for last minute daycare. She was so patient and kind when we arrived and took my pup out on a walk right after I left and sent a photo of him within the first 30 minutes. I think I had more seperation anxiety thamy dog. When I checked in she responded promptly, assured me he was doing great, and shared pictures from their afternoon hike. I will definitely reach out to her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take excellent care of your fur baby!

Jenning was communicative, responsible, and sent regular updates (including the cutest photos). I came home to a happy, calm pup who had clearly been well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jenning again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog sitter!

Schedule

Pet care is intentionally built into my daily routine. I work hybrid, which allows for consistent supervision, scheduled walks, structured feeding times, and calm downtime throughout the day. I limit bookings to two dogs at a time so I can provide focused attention in a quiet, low-traffic environment. On most days, dogs in my care are not left alone for more than about an hour, typically if I step out for the gym or a quick errand. Outside of that, I’m home and present. If I do step out briefly, your dog is safely settled in a secure, comfortable space based on what they’re accustomed to, whether that’s a crate or a designated room with cameras for constant monitoring.I always follow the owner’s preferences and the dog’s routine to ensure consistency.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for dogs by making sure they feel both safe and comfortable at all times. I maintain a structured, calm routine so the environment stays peaceful for everyone, including my own dog. Since I host less than two dogs, I’m able to keep the atmosphere relaxed and low stimulation so dogs can truly settle in and feel at ease. Building with controlled access, which adds an extra layer of safety. Dogs are always supervised and thoughtfully managed within my home to ensure they remain comfortable, secure, and well cared for throughout their stay. I also have cameras for monitoring if I step out outside.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day is structured but relaxed. Mornings begin with a walk and breakfast, followed by a calm settling period. Throughout the day, I incorporate additional walks, light play, and engagement tailored to your dog’s energy level. I also use gentle enrichment techniques, such as calming background television or nature programming, which can provide visual and auditory stimulation for dogs who respond well to it. Interactive play, puzzle toys, and individual attention are part of the experience, and for dogs who enjoy it, we explore nearby walking paths for longer, leisurely outings. Evenings are wind down time with a final walk, dinner, and a quiet, comfortable space to rest.

It’s helpful for me to know about your dog’s temperament, routine, crate training, and any anxiety triggers ahead of time. I maintain a peaceful home environment in a quiet building, so I’m best suited for dogs who are able to settle comfortably and do not experience high levels of separation distress. Crate training or the ability to relax in a designated space is important for everyone’s comfort.
