“Carrianne was able to help us with a last minute walk for our dog. She took the time to stop by the day before to meet him. We appreciated the help and would book her again if the chance comes up!”

“I needed a walker yesterday because I couldn’t be physically away from my home, so I was there when Andrew arrived. He texted when he was on his way, arrived promptly, and spent a couple of extra minutes greeting Rosie, on her level, letting her check him out and get comfortable with him - I was pleased. When they were out walking, a friend happened to see them and called me to tell me that she was impressed with how patient and gentle he was with her. He obviously made a positive impression on Rosie because she was very excited when he returned in the afternoon for her 2nd walk. I will definitely use Andrew for my future needs.”

About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I am an experienced dog owner, as I've had my own pup for near 6 years now. I have a strong background caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I grew up helping my grandma, who was a Samoyed breeder, so I've been around dogs my entire life and learned early on how to properly care for them. I've had my Aussie since he was 8 weeks, which has made me very comfortable with high-energy breeds and understand how important exercise, attention, and mental stimulation are. Whether your dog needs a quick drop-in, a walk, or just some extra attention during the day, I'll make sure they're not just checked on, but truly cared for and engaged with. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, even for a short time. I focus on making sure your dog feels safe & comfortable. I am currently offering evening availability on the weekdays starting at 6:30pm Thursday/Friday, and flexible scheduling on Saturday's/Sunday's for drop-ins & walks. I treat every dog like my own and can't wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently working a full-time job, 8am-5pm. I know this creates limited availability, but I am willing to fit in drop-ins and walks after 6:30pm during the weekdays, and will have flexible availability on the weekend. I take my dog on two 30 minutes walks everyday, on top of playing fetch often, & providing training on basics daily. I practice off-leash in areas where it is allowed. I feed morning and evening for my dog, provide lots of cuddles and affection, and make sure play time is priority. That can be through basic training, scent games, DIY puzzles, and running in the park! As for crate training, I did it for a year but have no moved to allowing my dog to snooze next to my bed every night. This set him up for success and created trust between him and I. I focus on trust with my dog 100% of the time, and understand his needs and wants daily. The bond between your pet is so important so I want to make sure I bring that same energy to your pet!

About: From family pets, growing up on a farm, pet sitting in college, to multiple years taking care of animal ambassadors as a naturalist, I've been working with and caring for critters of all sorts for nearly as long as I can remember! For critters in the pet category, I have been caring for indoor cats since 2018, from kittens to seniors and every stage in between, including administering medications. My family has had medium/large dogs (rottweilers, labs, and border collie and boxer mixes) my whole life but I have also pet sat for smaller breeds like Boston terriers and cavalier king Charles spaniels. My time as a naturalist gave me experience working with not only varied species, but varied personalities. From grumpy skunks to mischievous snakes and dramatic birds, I have extensive experience across the gambit. It also provided experience with very specific care instructions and detailed documentation. I like to provide pet parents with a thorough summary of my time with their pet so they don't have to worry while they're away. My schedule varies week to week from periods of no availability to periods of open availability, I will make sure to keep things updated so you know what to expect! In fall of 2025, I finished my 2,200+ mile thru hike of the Appalachian Trail. What does that mean for pet care? I LOVE to walk and do so whenever I get the chance! I would love to have your pet join me! I am very detail oriented and will follow your care instructions to a T! I also provide my pet parents a detailed summary of my visit for peace of mind, every time!
About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. My schedule is a little different each weekday, sometimes with breaks in the middle of the day. I am available all day on the weekends. I do not currently care for any pets in my home. I am not currently accepting jobs that require a pet to stay in my home.

About: For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about caring for animals. Whether it’s dog-sitting my neighbors’ dogs, volunteering at the Humane Society, or spoiling my own pup, Lula, I’ve always found so much joy in spending time with animals. As a nurse, caring for others is a big part of who I am, and I’d love to bring that same compassion, patience, and attention to your pets. I’m excited to spend my free time doing something I genuinely love—making sure your furry family members feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility and availability to care for your pet! I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and am happy to work around your pet’s schedule. I understand how important routine is for pets, so I’ll do my best to keep their usual feeding, walking, playtime, and rest schedule consistent while you’re away. I take the safety and security of your pets very seriously. I would love to meet them and then learn their routine, personality, and individual needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, playtime, medications, and rest. I also love giving plenty of attention, cuddles, and playtime when they’re comfortable with it. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, happy, and loved in their own home
“My dog gets excited when she hears that her friend Daniel has arrived for their afternoon walk. He seems to enjoy his time with her as well and is very kind and communicative. I've only had positive experiences with Daniel.”

“Melissa was great - she came on short notice and took our two dogs out for a nice long walk. One of our dogs is very reactive and in behavioral training and Melissa was very patient with the instructions and got them home safe and tuckered out even after a wild turkey encounter. 5 stars!”

“Ana takes Bella, my 1yo Golden Retriever, on 2 walks a week so Bella can stretch her legs when I’m on too many work conference calls. Ana is prompt, Bella loves her and Ana gives me a detailed report and pictures through the app each time. I highly recommend Ana and am so glad to have her walking Bella.”

About: I thrive on the energy a dog brings to the family, and I promise to take the best of care of your fur baby. My 16 year old Yellow Lab recently passed away due to an old age-related illness. But my heart is still thankful and happy to help you with your dog when you can’t be home to love on him/her. I can walk, run, and play with your dog at your home or mine. Please contact me with any questions whatsoever. Thanks so much. Also, I’m a teacher and I work about 8 minutes away. My schedule for Rover pups: Monday-Friday: I leave home at 8AM, and return home for the remainder of day at 12:45PM. Weekends: I’m home all the time, unless I run out for a quick errand. Additionally, June through August, I am available all day, full-time. When boarding your dog at my home, I’ll care for his/her safety and make sure he/she feels loved. Outside, your dog will always be on leash and will be my sole focus. Inside, there will be no chewing/safety hazards. NOTE: For care not in my home, my drop-in care and dog-walking rates are $13 per 10 minute increments within the Whitefish Bay area. I am able to provide longer care/walks and/or travel outside of the WFB area at an increased rate.
About: For 5 years, I’ve cared for a foster cat I adopted, looked after 3 senior cats—including giving medication—and am experienced with home visits to feed and play. I’m looking to spend my days off walking and playing with pets! With an open schedule, I love taking frequent walks around town and would be thrilled to have a furry companion join me for some fun and exercise. I’m available most days of the week and ready to help your pet get moving! While I don’t offer pet sitting in my own home, I’m dedicated to respecting your pet’s routine and following your guidelines to provide the best care possible in your home.

About: As someone who grew up on a small farm, I have been around a variety of animals since birth. I have experience caring for a variety of species and am comfortable handling any animal. I have volunteered with local animal shelters for over a decade, so I also have extensive experience caring for pets with behavioral issues and medical needs. I am a part-time sitter who is providing pet care services in addition to my full-time work. However, as a professor at a local university, I have a very flexible daily schedule and can easily provide pet care during typical business hours. Additionally, I do not work in the summer, which increases my availability from mid-May to September. I am very intentional about the number of clients I take at a time to ensure that I can provide comprehensive care to booked clients. I believe open communication is most important to be able to provide safe and reliable care for your pets. During our meet and greet, I will ask many questions to ensure that I have a full picture of what caring for your pet requires and how to meet your expectations. As someone who uses a Rover sitter to care for my pets when I am away, I personally understand the trust that is needed to leave your pets in someone else's care. I strive to build trust with clients by showing up when I say I do and following all instructions provided to me. And, it is not just about building trust with you but also your pet! If your pet has any behavioral issues or quirks, it's important for me to know this so that I can ensure safety for your pet and myself. This will help me adjust my interactions with them so I can build trust with your pet and respect their boundaries. The more information I have, the better!
About: I am a part time college student. I am going to school to get my ECE Degree. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 by volunteering at humane societies and having my own dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycares throughout Florida and Wisconsin. I love all dogs like they are my children. I would love to own my own rescue center but as of now I want to gain more experience with taking care of different breeds and just express my love of animals to the world. I hope that you choose me to be a temporary parent for your dog and that he or she is in perfect hands and will feel at home. Thank you. Hopefully we speak soon. I work third shift for Target and dog sit during the day. I make sure they are taken out three-four times and feed twice a day. I care for them like they are children. Go on walks, feed, cuddle. Run like crazy and crash from exhaustion. I also love getting to know the dogs personality.

“I’m so glad I found Jan on Rover! She is a great dog walker. When she came and met our puppy prior to her first walk I could tell she is a big dog lover. Her job is flexible so she is able to be flexible with coming over as well. Great at communicating about the walk/playtime. Our puppy had a stomach bug and she kindly cleaned up his accidents when she came over. I also overbooked her and unfortunately had to cancel a few walks. She was very nice about it. I will definitely be using her again! I can’t recommend her enough.”
About: I've taken care of dogs for around 5 years now and I enjoy taking them out on walks. I find dog walks calming and can take several hour long walks if needed. What I love to do best on my breaks is spend time with my dog, giving him walks. So I always have plenty of time to take care of pets. I can easily cater to your dog's needs when it comes to walks and house sitting. Just tell me how to typically take care of your dog and I'll do exactly that.

I needed a walker yesterday because I couldn’t be physically away from my home, so I was there when Andrew arrived. We are so grateful to have found Mia after bringing home our 8 week old puppy! She fit us in her schedule and took wonderful care of our puppy during her visits while we were at work. She has excellent communication and was quick to reply and follow up! We loved the cute photos she shared after her visits. We highly recommend Mia!

We love Ryan and Delilah! We have been so lucky to have them as dog walkers and house sitters. Ryan sends us the best videos and he is one of the only dog walkers we have had that likes to play with our pup. They always leave our house spotless and we trust them 100%! Wonderful people, highly highly recommended!!

Julia was amazing and incredibly attentive with my dog! Chuchi took to Julia immediately even though she is normally shy around new people. Julia was so sweet with her and is clearly a natural with animals. She made sure to keep me updated on the walk which was very reassuring. I will definitely be rebooking with Julia and highly recommend her!!
Vicki has been great with our dogs and very reliable as I'm recovering from surgery. I feel totally confident in her ability to handle our excitable pups as she has lots of experience due to her volunteer work at the Humane Society walking a lot of different dogs. Ruby and Moonshine watch for her car and are so excited to see her!

Nikki was a life saver for my anxious Pomeranian! The owner of the ARBNB complained my dog barked when we left( I did not know my dog barked or that the owner lived on premises). I had Nikki another time we visited for Wi State Fair last year and I had peace of mind. She is the best pet sitter you could ever have! She sends pictures too!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
