Vicki clearly got to know her, paid attention to her idiosyncrasies, and enjoyed playing with her and taking care of her. She not only cleaned our cat’s random messes, but apparently the remains of some creature that was eaten right outside the door… that would not have been a fun thing to come home to… As luck would have it, our street got flooded while we were gone. Vicki sent daily reports and pics about the water level in the yard and the basement condition. She was ready to move things as needed (thankfully it was not needed). Finally, she was worried we might be getting home a bit too late on the last day, so paid an extra visit to our furry one without being asked. About: I've loved cats for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a cat named Cindy, along with her sister, Soncy. A few years later we adopted a tabby named Oliver. I grew up with Cindy & Soncy for about 15 years, and once we adopted Oliver, we have had him for 10 years. I currently do not live with the cats anymore, now that I have adopted a dog. But I am very familiar with the everyday care that cats need, including feeding, litter boxes, playtime, affection, and giving them space when they want it. I know that every cat has a different personality and that some want constant attention while others are happiest doing their own thing. About: I helped raise my own two family dogs and ensured that they were always walked, bathed, fed, and happy. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dogs alongside our own family dogs, so I have experience handling multiple pets at once. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I normally take pets out 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and night. I make sure the dogs have a dedicated spot for food and bed. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. There are also multiple yard-like grass areas where the dogs are meant to do their business. If pets stay with me for longer than two weeks, I bathe them every other week.

I typically take the animals out several times a day, feed them, and let them roam around the house or snuggle with me. I have no pets right now but used to have a pit/black lab mix that I loved dearly so I love pits and other breeds with historically bad reputations. Outside, your dog will always be on leash and will be my sole focus. Inside, there will be no chewing/safety hazards. NOTE: For care not in my home, my drop-in care and dog-walking rates are $13 per 10 minute increments within the Whitefish Bay area. I am able to provide longer care/walks and/or travel outside of the WFB area at an increased rate.

I know this creates limited availability, but I am willing to fit in drop-ins and walks after 6:30pm during the weekdays, and will have flexible availability on the weekend. I take my dog on two 30 minutes walks everyday, on top of playing fetch often, & providing training on basics daily. I practice off-leash in areas where it is allowed. I feed morning and evening for my dog, provide lots of cuddles and affection, and make sure play time is priority. That can be through basic training, scent games, DIY puzzles, and running in the park! As for crate training, I did it for a year but have no moved to allowing my dog to snooze next to my bed every night. This set him up for success and created trust between him and I. I focus on trust with my dog 100% of the time, and understand his needs and wants daily. The bond between your pet is so important so I want to make sure I bring that same energy to your pet!

About: I’m a kind and goofy gal that loves dogs with my whole being. I own a beagle named Luna that I love spending time with. Her mom needs to hustle to get more funds for our journeys and all the Trader Joe’s treats. I am constantly the friend that takes care of my friend’s dog and enjoy every moment. I hope you give me the opportunity to spend time with your pet! I’d be happy to expand on my experience and passion. My entire schedule revolves around my dog. I’m thinking about how to move things around for her and always checking if I can bring her with. I enjoy our three walks a day on our remote work from home days. I’m open to taking care of pets at my home or their own as long as you’re okay with mine being with us. I’d be happy to introduce them beforehand. I’m a horrible liar and believe in karma, so I treat everyone and their homes like I would want others to treat mine. Hopefully this isn’t too cheesy lol
