About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. Clear communication and a genuine love for animals guide my approach to pet care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care.

About: Hi, my name is Lynn and my love for pets started at a young age. I find that dogs need more than love and affection. They need mental stimulation. While your dog is in my care, I assure you they will have all three. (Love, affection and mental stimulation) I have always had dogs my entire life. I currently have a 3 year old Lagotto Romagnolo named Bonita. She loves to play with other dogs big or small. I live across the street from a park so we will have plenty of play time. We will do lots of walks, play time as well and some down time. If you need help with basic obedience training, let's chat. If you have a kennel or doggy bed please bring it with you, as well as food and treats. I look forward to taking care of your dog(s)! Pet care is my life. I have a daily routine with my dog Bo. I take her to the dog park a few days a week and also let her run in the yard as well as across the street at the park. My days and hours are flexible, and someone is always home. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I will use a leash with your dog. I live on a quiet culdasac and have a park across the street for lots of play time.

About: I have extensive care with disabled animals and I am currently working as a vet assistant in a clinic and would love the opportunity to care for your pet. I work full time at a vet clinic so I am available mostly on the weekends and my times during the week days will vary I will follow instructions provided by my clients for drop ins and take into account the personal description that I am given of each pet and handle all with care.

About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. My grandpa has been breeding huskies since before I was born so dogs have always been a large part of my life. . I’m confident working with high-energy and large breeds, and I’m especially passionate about giving puppies the structure, love, and attention they need. I previously worked at a doggy daycare which has given me plenty of knowledge on caretaking and maintaining a happy and healthy home with multiple dogs. I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! About: I have two rescue dogs (Tasha & Diesel)!. I've been around dogs my whole life. I have dealt with all ages of dogs from puppy stages to senior dog care. I do work a full time job but I work from home 4 days a week on a routine basis (monday, wednesday - friday). I can go on a run and/or walk with your dog or just give them a little extra love and attention. I am a big fan of all dogs whether they are big or small. I also know some about cats if you need help with them as well. I am available on weekends and if needed can work in a Friday too. This allows me to put all my attention on your pets. I have one fur baby of my own that can easily be separated from your pup if needed. I also have easily access to a crate and a neighborhood dog park.
