I’m Sophie, and I’m a dependable, caring animal lover who would be happy to give your pets the love and attention they deserve while you’re away. 🐾 I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, so I take the time to follow their routines, pay attention to their individual personalities and needs, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m especially comfortable with dogs and love everything from walks and playtime to cozy cuddles and keeping them company. About: Pets are family, and we love providing a safe, fun, and loving home for them to stay! Our dog passed away on Christmas 2024. While we’re not ready for a new pup of our own yet, we love opening our home to others. We have two kind, animal-loving kids (ages 3 and 9) who are gentle, playful, and always excited to help care for our furry guests. To make sure every pet feels at home, we usually host just one dog at a time (unless they’re from the same family). Your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while you’re away — along with lots of love from the whole family. We can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! 🐾 I work full time as a social worker during the school year but off during the summer. I am able to provide care on weeknights and weekends and more intensive care in the summer! Our dog recently passed away and we are used to providing regular dog care. We have a large, un-fenced yard and great areas for walking!

I constantly have my head on a swivel due to my training so I am ready for any unexpected events. I am skilled with crate and other preventative/maintenance method training. About: Being with animals isn't a job for me, it's my favorite thing to do! I've grown up with animals around me my whole life, and I started walking dogs when I was 16. Almost 20 years later I am still loving on pets whenever I can. I currently own a Bearded Dragon and a senior pup - But I owned special needs kitties for 19 years. Here's some about me and my experience! 70% of my one-time clients have booked me again or become regular clients! Pet Care Experience: - Dogs: Puppies older than 6 months, juveniles, adults and seniors - Cats: Kittens older than 8 months, juveniles, adults and seniors - Small mammals like guinea pigs, hamsters - Reptiles like Bearded Dragons and Leopard Geckos - Fish What can I do that sets me apart? - Medication administration with mild- to moderate-tempered cats (oral, topical, injection) - Experience with Separation Anxiety, high-energy, and pets that don't do well with other animals (keeping walks, etc safe!) - Experience with multi-pet homes and environments. I work around whatever needs you and your pets have so make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible. I'll ask for a digital or typed/written instructions so I can follow them to the letter! I keep areas clean and make sure everything is secure before I leave a home. I also always send a "closing" message for overnight stays with details like mail collection etc! Your pet's safety and your ease of mind are my top priorities.

About: Since High School (10+ years), family members, neighbors, and close friends have reached out to me for pet care. I personally grew up with cats, but I have care for cats, dogs, fish, and even bearded dragons! When I care for your pets, I strive to be patient and understanding first and foremost. Meeting new people is just as nerve-racking as meeting new animals! I enjoy learning your pet's behavior, building trust, bonding with them and hopefully, if they let me, giving them lots of love! About: Hi, I’m Ellie! A little about me, I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals from cats and dogs to birds and snakes! And I’ve loved going above and beyond to care for them, for as long as I can remember. I have a 10 year old pup myself (Toby) that has helped me understand the dedication and commitment required when caring for pet; especially during a time that might be a bit difficult or confusing for them. I’ve also learned that each pet has their own personality and I will adapt my care to be able to provide exactly what your pet needs. About: I have been around animals, my whole life it doesn’t matter if it’s my pets, my friends, pets or even my families pets. I have had rabbits, fish, cats, and dogs. When I was first born and at a very young age, my parents had a cat named Misty. Misty was a farm cat, and I learned at the young age of how to take care of a pet and a cat. It didn’t matter if it was giving the cat exercise, feeding the cat, giving it water or even cleaning out the litter pan. I also at a young age at around eight learned how to take care of a dog as my family got a golden retriever. We got this golden retriever named Sam from Humane Society, and Sam was an older dog about eight years old. I learned how to take care of an older dog, feeding it, giving exercise and water, and of course playing fetch, because what golden retriever doesn’t like fetch. After these animals, I got a Maine Coon cat named Cowboy. Again I learned how to take care of Cowboy by feeding Cowboy, giving Cowboy water and emptying the litter pan along with playing with Cowboy. Cowboy was a bit younger when I got him and was about eight months old. After cowboy, I was Lucky enough to get a black lab as a puppy, named Lucky. I named Lucky Lucky because what dog is not lucky to have me as their owner to take them on runs! Lucky was about four months old and again a potty trained Lucky, took Lucky to training classes and also trained Lucky on my own at home helping Lucky to learn to sit stay and play. After Lucky I got a rescue dog named Dyno, Dyno was a rescue dog from a high kill shelter in Alabama and when I did a DNA test on Dyno, Dyno came out to be a black lab pointer mix with a little bit of terrier and boxer in her as well. Dyno was approximately four months old as well when I got her. I helped Dyno learn to be potty trained took her to training classes and train her at my house as well. I helped Dyno to learn, sit and stay, and also place along with playing dead. I recently just moved out of my house, and unfortunately Dyno had to stay with my parents, because Dyno doesn’t get along with other dogs as well. I did have to be very cognizant, while I took care of Dyno, to make sure Dyno did not injure or hurt other dogs, and keep Dyno safe as well, so I’m very good at making sure and keeping track of dogs when they’re along with other dogs so that they don’t fight. I am smart and know the signs dogs have if they are nervous, worried, or scarred. I moved in with my fiancé, who has a seven year-old golden retriever named Molly, and I am currently taking care of Molly. Molly is an unbelievable golden retriever dog, loves to go for runs and play fetch. If you have a dog that loves to go for runs or walks I will gladly take them for runs and walks to get my exercise in with them. What dog does not like to go for a run? Hope I can help you walk/run and take care of your animals just like I love to take care of my own! I am a police officer and have many days off during the week. So if you need someone to let your furry friends out while at work I am perfect for that. One week I work Monday Tuesday Friday to Sunday. I’m off Wednesday and Thursday the following week off Monday Tuesday and the weekend. In my professional life, I am a police officer, so not only do I take care of animals in my personal life, but also in my professional life when they are lost, and I need to get them back to the owner, or even dropping them off at the Humane Society so they are safe. Recently on the Snowmobile Trail. I actually found a kitten and was able to get the kitten to come to me so that it did not freeze to death in the woods and get it to a business near the Snowmobile Trail so that it could be returned to the Humane Society to stay safe . Based off of my schedule in my professional life of being a police officer, I have many days off during the week. So if you’re at work and need your furry friends to be let outside, I am the perfect person. As I have many off days on Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday while others are working. I can explain my schedule better however here is a break down. Week one. I work Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday Sunday. I am off Wednesday and Thursday Week two. I only work Wednesday and Thursday off the rest of the week. Even if you are home and you’re an individual that doesn’t like to go for runs or walk or are older, I could take care of your animal and let them out take them for a walk or run while you were at home as well, just to get them exercise, I would be happy to do that because then I get my exercise as well. On the weekends, I would be available most all the time as well, unless I am busy, but I would do drop in short notice type calls as well! With me working in the school during the school year, I have off days during the school year that your kids are off as well. So spring break I am open all day, or just even random days during the week they are off as well. So please keep that in mind. In the summer I am free at 2pm to let your dog outside. My schedule just changed and I work night shift. So I am available anytime during the day as long as I’m not sleeping. The days I work stays the same regarding off days and not. Right now I am not planning on having dogs or cats stay at my house with my dog Molly, so this is not something you need to worry about however, if I’m walking or taking your dog for a run, I would make sure to bring my light up light collar for your dog so that your dog is safe whether it’s dark out. If you have one I would use yours. This will make sure your dog has your collar on with its leash and keep your dog or cat safe.
