Hi there, my name is Shelby! I am the proud owner of a lab/weiner mix named Max, cat named Newton, and two guinea pigs named Stella and Daisy. I have grown up owning/caring for various types of pets over the years including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, geckos, ect. A few summers ago I worked at a doggy-daycare. I have lots of experience with all different breeds and personalities types, as well as dealing with more than one dog at a time. I love my own pets tremendously but all dogs hold a special place in my heart. Any activity that allows me to spend more time with dogs/animals is something that I'm very interested in. Long story short, if you're looking for a dedicated dog walker/sitter that will treat your pet as their own, you've found one! Our animals are part of the family and should be treated as such. I currently work 7-3:30 weekdays. If you can work with my schedule, I’d be more than happy to meet your pets!

I believe that all pets should be treated as one’s own. I have owned/cared for an elderly dogs/pets that needed 24 hour care. I am very capable of providing all pets with extra care, attention, and love.

Shelby was great with Clawdia, she left great notes after each visit and took pictures so I knew she was good. I will absolutely use Shelby again to watch my little bean!

Wouldn’t do it again. I never write negative reviews, but I haven’t stopped feeling guilty about leaving the cats behind since the trip. We just moved to town and haven’t made connections in the area and my sister was graduating. We ultimately decided that Rover was the best option. We met with Shelby and it went well. I was feeling better about leaving for a few days. While we were gone though, we received a message that our house key was lost and they could not get into our home. After talking, she said that she would call a locksmith and see if they would come out. Luckily though, the problem was resolved the same day. She was relatively communicative throughout the rest of the booking and it seemed to be better, but when I returned home, the litter box on the main floor had noticeably not been cleaned out. I have a newer cat that is still separated from the others. The water in his bowl was yellow and he’s chugged water since we returned. He had also had several accidents on the floor without letting us know. Everyone was okay when we returned and that’s all I want. Again, I understand things happen. While the locks to my doors no longer match, losing a key is human error. The lack of care given to my cat that was separated from the others though, feels like a lack of professionalism and thoughtfulness. This was my first and, likely, only time booking with Rover and was overall a regrettable experience.
Shelby helped me out when I was out of town with watching my cat! I will be booking with her again.
Shelby did a GREAT job watching my very loving, needy and vocal cat! He was well fed and loved and I got updates every time she stopped by. Very professional and kind. I will definitely use her again!
