About: I grew up with pets—2 beloved cats and two dachshunds-and pet-sat for a friend’s elderly cat for years. Then I had my family, and with 4 kids and a busy writing career, I was juggling too much to have pets. With 3 kids who will be in college this fall, I have been reconnecting with my love of animals and watch several dogs regularly. An avid walker (sometimes I log 8 miles a day), I look forward to including some local furry friends on my walks. I love physical activity and am a longtime yogi and kickboxing enthusiast. I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule and my own car. I rise early every day, and I am often available on weekends. I am often available at lunch time to clients who need their dogs walked mid day. I am starting out as a dog walker. I know your pet is an important member of your family and would treat them like my own kids.

About: I have multiple years of experience with multiple pet species including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rodents, and other small animals. I am fully comfortable with caring for nearly any pet, and am willing to work with an animal with potential behavioral issues. My current schedule allows me to have complete freedom, and I hope this will allow me to work with more pet families! This upcoming fall I will be attending classes locally and will still be able to fulfill your pet care needs. If overnight boarding is needed, I have a fenced in yard and a home with baby gates to ensure dogs are secure at all times. Also, I have a friendly 45 pound female Portuguese water dog in the house.

In your home, I will follow directions and respect boundaries to ensure every service provided is a great experience for you and your bundle of joy! Walks will be taken in the neighborhood and visits in-house will only be limited to rooms given permission to be in.
