About: I adopted my first dog when I was 9. I took on the responsibility of her care for the next 15 years that she was alive. I have cared for other dogs alongside her as well. My experience with them includes feeding, walks, cleaning cages and outdoor bathroom instances, administering medicine, brushing teeth, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve never been afraid to get my hands dirty and make it my point to respect the boundaries of any animal in my care. I’m lucky enough that I work from home currently, so I have plenty of time between meetings to feed, walk, and play with your pets! I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment for each pet I care for. In both my home and my client’s home, I follow their established routines for feeding, playtime, and rest to ensure the pet feels secure. During walks, I prioritize safety. I believe in the importance of using proper leashes, avoiding dangerous areas, and tailoring the walk to the dog’s energy level and needs. I also keep the dog’s space clean, offer plenty of affection and mental stimulation, and provide regular updates to the owner so they always feel informed!

About: I'm a pet-loving mother of four with three children in college—and enjoying the wonderful pets I have met through this site. I have lived in Scotch Plains for almost 15 years. I watch several dogs regularly on a private basis and am excited to be part of the Rover community. I grew up with a beloved menagerie that included three cats, two beloved dachshunds and a poodle and have enjoyed watching a variety of dogs, including a bulldog, a French bulldog, a Bernese, a labradoodle, and, of course, mixed breeds. I love walking and daily yoga and look forward to helping your pets get the fresh air, activity and affection they need when you are working or otherwise busy. I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule and have time for walks and visits before or after work and at lunchtime. While I would love to help every pet, I am petite, so my ideal sized pets are under 50 pounds. I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule and my own car. I rise early every day, and I am often available on weekends. I am often available at lunch time to clients who need their dogs walked mid day. About: I have worked intensively for 3 years in dog daycare with as many as 30 dogs in a room. Before that I’ve always been an avid dog owner and caretaker for as long as I can remember. I work mornings during the week, so I am available after 1:30 pm weekdays. I am very punctual and reliable, and deeply care for a dogs wellbeing! I prefer to care for pets in a client’s home, although I’m sure there can be some exceptions, although I don’t have a huge amount of space

About: I have taken care of cats extensively in the past, cat-sitting for family and friends for weeks at a time. They relied on me to feed and generally care for cats in the past. I am eager to gain more experience with dogs, as I have always had a soft spot for them and absolutely love to walk, play with, and care for them. I currently work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays. For now, I am available outside of those hours on weekdays as well as on weekends. In my client's home, I would be sure to follow all routines they have set up for their pet, as well as any other rules they have. During walks and outside of the home care, I would keep a vigilant eye out for the pet to keep them safe, while simultaneously playing and engaging with them so the pet has a fun and positive experience with me.
