About: We lost our 13 yr old american bulldog / hound mix and while mom (Lisa) isn't ready to have a new FT family member just yet, my son and I would be so excited to have fun with and love your pet as our own while you are away. We have a fenced-in back yard, lots of toys and a comfy dog bed - though of course you are welcome to bring your own gear, if it makes your pet feel more comfortable and at home. Typically only board 1 family at a time. Because our schedules can vary, we’re only able to accept boarding requests 2-3 months in advance. We appreciate your understanding! I am self-employed and work from home so am available to give your pet all the attention it deserves, take for walks and potty breaks as needed. We have a fenced yard and I have experience with senior dogs where extra care, love and medication may be needed, and am totally fine with larger dogs as well.

About: Growing up with a pets myself, I’ve always taken care of them. Whether it’s going out for long walks or running around the house, I have first hand experience with it. My schedule is very flexible as I can work from home and offer a very accommodating schedule to anyone that chooses to book their loving pet with me. I live in a townhouse with 3 floors, which means your dog or cat will have no problem running around the house freely as they want to. (It truly is a workout) I also live nearby a reservation with hiking trails and lots of outdoor space.

About: I have had dogs for 25 years, we had 2 rescue dogs when our kids were growing up. Since then I have walked and dog sat for many different families. I prefer to have 1 dog at a time for dog sitting overnight and for weeks at a time. I have had people’s dogs stay with me for several weeks at a time. It is such a rewarding experience and I love meeting so many different dogs. They bring so much love and affection to me and I give the same or more love back to them. I am working F/T starting in October. Right now I am able to walk the dog(s) anytime of day to meet their schedule. When I start working I could walk the dog in the morning before work and again at 3:00 when I will be getting home from work, and again in the evening. I enjoy long walks and would take the dog with me and give him/her some exercise. I also have my son who works in Westfield who could take the dog for a walk at lunchtime. I am an active person and can never have enough walking, etc. I would love to sit/walk your favorite furry family member. About: I've been caring for small pets such as, Hamsters, Guinea-pigs and Fish (from goldfish, etc. to Oscars,etc.) from a very young age. Therein, for example, when I was still a little girl, my friend and neighbor could no longer care for their beloved, hamster, Andy; who did they think of... me ! So, Andy, the hamster was adopted and added to the fold. Next, Cats and Dogs. When my neighbor found a stray cat had given birth in their shed closet, again, who did they call?! I adopted one of the 3 kittens; adopting their sibling from the same liter soon after the first adoptee, was unable to care for it. I began caring for Angel and Geisha, my first two cats. Last but not least, Dogs... Cream was a white Pittie, whose owner, again, became unable to care for her so she lived with me and my 2 year old daughter at the time, and they loved each other dearly. After, finding Cream a permanent home, I had the honor of caring for other dogs for friends and neighbors even the homeless, from which I cared for Lulu, a pittie, living with her owner on the street. However, she received a healthy diet, vet care and patience, training to reverse some of the habits she developed living on the street. Now, although, I've cared for others such as Bamboo, the Pitbull, that seemed to take care of himself, lol and Karma, who needed a foster during the Covid pandemic; I'm entrusted with the care of my Pittie/German-Sheppard Gran-pet baby, Nasir aka Nas, while my daughter's in college. Nice enough, I still get to switch it up and care for the Cats (and small pets) of various friends and neighbors in my community. With that, I try o create a Pet-care Staycation like atmosphere when boarding or Home care while pet-parents are away and a Family like atmosphere for Fosters. I look forward to meeting your furry friends and four legged family members :) Pet care is not only therapeutic, it fits into my schedule perfectly, since I am a semi-retired administrative professional who suffered an untimely stroke at a young age. However. after an almost miraculous recovery, I'd like to move forward in a direction that nurtures my empathetic personality. Therein, leaving the desk behind, affording me with a more active lifestyle, all year round. As to that, my days generally consist of assisting my daughter with her dog, exercise, personal errands and volunteering a few hours a week. In the past, I worked with cats, dogs, and other mammals, but I am more than happy to learn how to care for other pets, such as amphibians, birds, and reptiles. I have a flexible job full time job. I am available most days of the week except Thursday to relocate for pet and house sitting. I’m flexible to swing by to check on your pet or take for a walk throughout the day if overnights are of less interest. I am available throughout the day for quick let outs and check-ins with your pets. I can easily crate your dog in my apartment while boarding them. I also live 5 minutes from a great dog parks for your pup to get socialization. For cats and other furry friends, there is plenty of room for them to roam and play. FYI: I do have one cat, named Sedona. She is very chill around other pets and does her own thing.
About: I have either owned or taken care of dogs since I was very young. I began dog sitting around 10 years ago. I can come to your home or do in home visits. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes from Cane Corsos to Bassett Hounds and many more. I currently work remotely and am home during the day. That gives me a lot of extra time especially to care for my animals as well as others. I have a separate room for cats to stay in that has a screen door. They can see out but not get out as well as my cats can see in but not get in. I also have a "privacy gate" so they cannot see eachother.

About: Hi, I’m AnnMarie! I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, but really started understanding the love and care they need when I got my first cat and first dog at 7 years old. I grew up with Labrador retrievers, a blue front Amazon parrot, cats, frogs, fish, hermit crabs, and some others I’m definitely forgetting as I write this. I currently have a dog named Maple, a spunky, confident, and affectionate 1.5 year old corgi who would love a few more friends like your dog or cat! She grew up in a home with a ton of other dogs and cats and is always up for playdates and sleepovers. I’m capable of providing whatever your animal needs - a long (or short) walk, playtime, snuggles on the couch, meals, and commands/trick reinforcement. I also have experience administering medications to dogs and cats, including eye drops, and can manage other normally challenging health conditions or issues. I currently work full time but have availability in the evenings (usually after 6pm) on weekdays for drop in visits or walks, and most weekends are completely free for boarding, day care, drop ins, or walks! I frequently update my calendar to give clients the best idea of my availability. If you don’t see something/the dates you’re looking for, please reach out and we can discuss. I have an extremely friendly dog to keep yours company, but if the preference would be separation between yours and mine, that works perfectly fine too! I have a spacious home with multiple bedrooms and a large backyard, though it isn’t completely fenced just yet! I’m also a short drive from a huge park, where I frequently walk my dog, otherwise I keep walks local.
“Carlos was amazing! My Loki has never stayed with anyone before, and he warmed up to Carlos from the moment we met at a meet and greet. Carlos spent time getting to know him and his needs, and even walked around with us so Loki got comfortable. Unfortunately, pit bull get a bad rap and I had some difficulty trying to find a sitter.
