“I can’t say enough good things about Shannon. I came to her with a little bit of an odd request—more like an evening of babysitting our pup than a traditional dog sit. Happy is 5 months old and full of energy. And also still learning how to behave in someone else’s house. We were staying with our daughter and her family so we could attend a family wedding in a different city than where we live. I looked on Rover and found this woman with years of experience as a certified dog sitter, who seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. I thought she would not be overwhelmed by a 5-month-old golden retriever pup. So I reached out to Shannon long distance and she was right there with all the good questions and suggestions about how to make my plan work. We chatted for about an hour to make sure we both felt comfortable and then I booked the appointment. Shannon even came to my daughter’s house the day before the wedding just to meet Happy and give me a chance to share any additional details. Then on the day of the wedding, she came right on time and gracefully managed our pup (walks, potty breaks, dinner, playing with our very young grandkids , settling for the night), which enabled our son-in-law to manage our two grandchildren without any additional complications. Her skill and kindness with Happy made the whole evening stress-free for all of us. It was a dream dog sit. When it came time for Shannon to leave, Happy just walked over and sat down right at her heels and nuzzled her hand. Thank you Shannon!”

About: Was responsible for many cats and dogs when I was growing up. Currently have a fur baby name Genevieve and she’s a calico. She is roughly two years old. Pet care is something I naturally incorporate into my daily routine. I make time to ensure pets are fed, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of love and attention. I understand that every animal has its own personality, needs, and routine, so I do my best to maintain their usual schedules and make them feel comfortable and safe. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I’m happy to make pet care a priority in my schedule. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. I’m happy to care for pets in either my home or their own home, depending on what works best for them and their owner. About: I have always been around dogs and have had dogs of my own. I currently have 2 dogs, a bishon havanesse and a pitbull. They are fun, silly and definitely worth the chaos. I will take care of your babies like they were my own. This is currently the only thing im doing. I love to hang out with dogs, see their individual personalities and get to play with them. I have a fenced in yard and will make sure to keep my dogs in a separate part of the house if your dog isnt comfortable around other dogs. Any dogs comfort and safety is my main concern. I will take care of your dog like if they were my own.

About: I’ve had two dogs! My first dog was a Maltese named Rocky. He passed away in 2017 from lymphoma. 💔 Right now, I have a 9-year-old terrier mix named Lila!
