Safety, trust & environment
I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment for each pet I care for. In both my home and my client’s home, I follow their established routines for feeding, playtime, and rest to ensure the pet feels secure. During walks, I prioritize safety. I believe in the importance of using proper leashes, avoiding dangerous areas, and tailoring the walk to the dog’s energy level and needs. I also keep the dog’s space clean, offer plenty of affection and mental stimulation, and provide regular updates to the owner so they always feel informed!
Information Thalia A. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any kind of special needs! I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs. My old dog used to need medication and diapers. I’ve also taken care of dogs with small injuries or post surgery dogs.
A typical day
I always say yes to playing with a pet! Whether it be walking, playing a game of keep away, catch, tug of war, or chasing them around a table, I’m ready to provide that kind of stimulation to make sure they aren’t antsy or stressed.

Experienced Pet Care Giver
Pet care experience
I adopted my first dog when I was 9. I took on the responsibility of her care for the next 15 years that she was alive. I have cared for other dogs alongside her as well. My experience with them includes feeding, walks, cleaning cages and outdoor bathroom instances, administering medicine, brushing teeth, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve never been afraid to get my hands dirty and make it my point to respect the boundaries of any animal in my care.

Reviews

Thalia was great, she was extra patient with our skittish girl Tessa and Tessa enjoyed her walk.

Thalia did an amazing job caring for our two girls while we were away. She house sat for us on two separate days and followed everything we had laid out - from their walking schedule to feeding them exactly how they’re used to. It was clear she took the time to make sure their routine stayed consistent. She was also very communicative, sending us photo updates during walks and even at naptime, which we really appreciated. Being away from your dogs can be stressful, but Thalia gave us real peace of mind knowing they were not only well cared for, but genuinely loved on while we were gone. We’d absolutely trust her with them again.

Thalia was awesome is all I can say. She was communicative, she loved on the dogs like they were her own, and I would recommend her to anyone. She took into account all the instructions/notes that I left and I feel like she’ll be my trusted pet sitter for future travel.
