I am a full time dog sitter, most weekdays I am typically very busy with bookings. Looking for more overnights and housesitting at the moment. I’m quite a flexible person regarding times and schedules and I appreciate flexibility from pet parents. I will be moving overseas in August permanently but still open for a few more bookings this summer. My biggest priority are making sure the pets are happy and safe always.

I will follow any boundaries in homes I am staying at. If you are crate or leash training that is perfectly okay with me. I will always make sure to know where the dogs are at all times as well. When I am overnight/day sitting I try to stay with the animals most of the time but do usually have to pop out for other walks throughout the day.

Please let me know if your dog is reactive, shy, a barker etc. I am totally okay working with that, but I believe it’s important to cater to the individual needs of every animal. I do particularly love small breeds like Shih Tzu’s and Pekingese, but also medium and large. I work with larger breeds quite frequently as well and they are some of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met.

I love going to parks with dogs and running around with them, especially in the warm weather. I am willing to take them on trails and explore new places with them that the parents are okay with.

I’ve loved animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life. I knew as I grew up I wanted to go somewhere with it, I began by offering my services to neighbours and family friends and now like to branch out and help others with their animals. I am good with dealing with dogs that are anxious or just need a little extra care. I would say a skill of mine is being very attentive to their needs and behaviour.

River is a kind and conscientious person and she took care of our home and Bailey as well as we could have hoped for. We look forward to having her again for future house and pet sitting needs.
We had River care for our senior Labrador while we were away for the weekend. She was great to work with -- conscientious in her preparations, very communicative throughout the stay giving us updates multiple times each day . She was able to accomodate all of our dog's idiosyncracies. At the end of the weekend everyone was happy! Will definitely work with River again.
