About: We lost our 13 yr old american bulldog / hound mix and while mom (Lisa) isn't ready to have a new FT family member just yet, my son and I would be so excited to have fun with and love your pet as our own while you are away. We have a fenced-in back yard, lots of toys and a comfy dog bed - though of course you are welcome to bring your own gear, if it makes your pet feel more comfortable and at home. Typically only board 1 family at a time. Because our schedules can vary, we’re only able to accept boarding requests 2-3 months in advance. We appreciate your understanding! About: I have had dogs for 25 years, we had 2 rescue dogs when our kids were growing up. Since then I have walked and dog sat for many different families. I prefer to have 1 dog at a time for dog sitting overnight and for weeks at a time. I have had people’s dogs stay with me for several weeks at a time. However, owning a husky is very challenging and has substantially improved my skills as a pet caregiver. I wouldn’t have it any other way! There’s no job more rewarding. I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible. My pup and I take long walks, or trips to the local dog park throughout the day. We would love the company of your pet on our adventures! I would rather not take care of pets in my home as space is limited. As long as the weather is nice I spend as much time as possible outside on walks or runs with the dogs I sit.
About: I have had multiple dogs my whole life and have been dog sitting for friends/friends of friends for years. I’m very flexible and love all dogs! I currently have 3 dogs so I’m constantly around them, but I have also been pet sitting for years. I don’t work another part time job in the summers so I have a flexible schedule. I have experience both staying overnight in pet owners houses along with checking in every couple of hours depending on pet owners preference. I do not mind either way and will always respect the pet owners environment.
