“Gabriella was amazing. Fun, kind, and Milo loved her. She helped take care of our baby on our wedding day, even came to the venue to take pictures with him and drove him back! Thank you!”

“This is so long overdue but I couldn't go without leaving a review. Audrey was a fantastic Dog Sitter and I couldn't be more grateful for how she took care of Max. Quick to respond, clear communication, pictures, video and updates. I never once had to question how Max was doing while I was away. She also came to stay at the house. She left my house in the state she found it, stripped her bed before leaving and even asked if I had any other requests before she left. I will definitely be using Audrey again and truly appreciate her, and Rover, for making my time away as comfortable as possible for Max.”

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. We've plenty of time to play with your pups! It is important for us to know whether your pet gets along with other dogs and is friendly with kids. We would also want to know if your pet has a tendency to dig or chew on furniture or shoes so we can make the necessary accomodations. Also it’s important to know if your pet has any preexisting medical conditions and/or requires any medication or supplements to be administered We have a fenced in front and backyard. However, dogs are allowed both inside and outside our home. We also believe in taking dogs on multiple walks a day to give them the exercise they need.
“Denys was great with baloo I was able to see at times they got along well and he had plenty of good walks, I came back from vacation and baloo looks in great condition and also well fed...denys followed our instructions well and was very respectful of the house environment ,I highly recommend denys to anyone who wants excellent care of their pets...again thank you Denys and rover for this great experience!”

“This was my first time using River to house sit my 5 fur babies. I was scared to try it out and to trust someone who I didn't know but Ernesto was such a nice and genuine person not only to me and my family but to all my Doggies as well. He naturally has an aura to animals, and they loved him since day one. Ernesto knew it was my birthday and left me a beautiful detail on the table for me to see when I came back from my trip. Thank you Ernesto for all the love, communication, videos and photos of the doggies throughout the day and giving me peace of mind while I was away.”

“Thanks Stella for staying with Toby during our wedding weekend! He had so much fun and was happy as can be when we came home. Stella was on top of everything and very respectful of our home. She kept us updated on Toby the whole time we were gone and put us at ease. We plan to use her for all of our out of town trips!”
“Marina was an amazing pet sitter and we’re so grateful to have found her. She took excellent care of our pets during the holidays, followed all instructions carefully, and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog and cats were clearly comfortable and well cared for, and she was very attentive to their needs. On top of that, she kept our home very clean and tidy, which we truly appreciated. Marina is responsible, thoughtful, and clearly loves animals. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”

“Vanessa did a great job watching Maxwell in my home for a few days. She was communicative, paid attention to detail, followed all of my instructions, and had no issues giving him his medication. Most importantly, Maxwell was comfortable with her. I’d definitely book with her again.”
“Sarah was very responsive to my queries and provided frequent updates and photos of Tashi, which made me feel more comfortable leaving my fur child for an extended period of time. We did have one hiccup where I wasn't able to get in touch with her for a day, but Tashi was fine and all was well.”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that i actually love the whole job not only the cute parts. Im patient when it comes to puppies who are still learning and are very playful, gentle with older dogs who need a slower pace, and calm when pets are anxious and shy. Im great at following the routine like giving pets meds and sensing when something is “off”. Basically I treat every pet like theyre my own with lots of love and care. Pet care fits very well into my daily and weekly routine. My schedule is very open, which allows me to provide consistent attention, walks, feeding, and companionship as needed I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved. At my home, I have a friendly cat and a fenced yard where pets can run around and play safely with supervision. I stick to their normal feeding and potty schedules, give them plenty of playtime and attention, and make sure they’re always comfortable. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely so pets feel relaxed and at home. I handle feeding, walks, playtime, and basic care as instructed.
About: I've been taking care of dogs for friends, family, and myself since I was 13. I've had rescues, older dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and puppies. I've done basic obedience training and potty training with small and medium sized dogs and I've also taken care of older foster dogs I'm currently in between jobs so I have plenty of free time to watch and play with your furry family. I'm home full time 7 days a week and I live with my two retired parents I have a fenced backyard so they can run and play to their hearts content without any outside worries. I don't currently have animals of my own. I have no problem with crating a dog if requested, but I prefer to let them roam and be in the same room as them to watch over and play with.

Your dog won’t be staying in a house full of other dogs you don’t know. No kids either. Your baby will have the peace and calm they deserve as well as my full attention 🥰 These are the reasons why you should book with me: 1) I am a very patient and calm person, very emotionally controlled. With me, you can have peace of mind that your baby is being very well treated, no matter what. I do not believe in physically correcting or punishing dogs. 2) I am a very honest person that doesn’t negotiate values and moral. I will always respect you, your home, your pet and follow your instructions thoroughly. 3) I LOVE being around cats and dogs. This is not a job for me, it is more like a hobby, honestly. I will always be around and careful with what I have in the house that could cause them harm.
“Tetiana was amazing and super caring for our dogs. one of the dogs got pneumonia 2 days before our trip and was it was very hard feeding him his medicine. although challenging Tetiana managed to give him medicine and keep his mood upbeat even while sick. She also was very understanding of our situation as we just moved and had many packed boxes in the house. She would keep us up to date with pictures and videos of our pets and we never felt more relieved. I cannot thank her enough and would definitely recommend her for your pets. She has a hidden talent of calming dog who go crazy once locking eyes with a squirrel, by the time we came back our dog was trained and not pulling. It was absolutely shocking how much calmer he got with Tetiana training in place. ❤️”

“Brianna has been absolutely wonderful. This is the first time we’ve ever left our boys in the hands of someone else and are confident that they’ve been loved and cared for. Brianna is friendly, responsive, and very good at what she does. Our dog and cat loved her from the moment they met. I absolutely recommend her care and will be booking with her again in the future!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - West Park
Taylor was simply amazing with Mulan. She was kind, attentive, and it was clear how much she truly loves animals. Mulan felt so comfortable with her, which means everything to me. But what made the experience truly special was the beautiful detail at the end—she gave me a collage with photos from the days she spent with Mulan… it honestly made me cry. I wil definitely rebook with her again

Rhokia was a wonderful dog sitter who took amazing care of my very attached Cavalier, Jax, while I was away on a work trip. Each day, she sent detailed updates about their walks and excursions, along with photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She even brought him toys! She made sure he was well-fed, gave him treats and plenty of affection, and most importantly, truly cared for and loved him while I was away. She was also a respectful guest in my home and left everything just as she found it—clean and organized. I can’t say enough great things about Rhokia and the exceptional care she provides. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter.

Fiona was amazing with our fur babies. We went on an extended trip for our wedding and honeymoon. Fiona sent us video and picture updates that made us feel as ease during our travels. My bulldog even got himself a girlfriend, played so well with Luna. Fiona went above and beyond I would definitely love for her to watch our babies again.

We couldn’t be happier with the amazing care our 2 dogs received! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brianna stayed in our home and cared for our fur babies while we were out of town for 4 days. She came for a meet-and-greet prior to our trip, and from the moment we met, we (and the pups) felt completely at ease. She treated our pups like family—lots of playtime & cuddles, —and kept our home spotless and peaceful. The updates and photos she sent each day were such a comfort and let us see just how relaxed and happy our dogs were. We were able to enjoy our trip thanks to the peace of mind that our dogs were in her loving and capable hands. We are booking with her again to stay during an upcoming trip! We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind-hearted, and reliable sitter. 💕🐾

Emily was an amazing in-home sitter for my two senior dogs, one of which is handicapped with special medical needs. Emily was very communicative and took the time to make sure she was prepared to take care of my dogs before the stay. While I was gone she made sure to update me with photos and videos so I wouldn’t stress. I came home to 2 happy, healthy, and well cared for dogs. So I would definitely recommend Emily!

Amber did an amazing job taking care of our boys for our 2 weeks trip, first time we use a sitter for that long of a period but we didn’t have any concerns while we were overseas, she was very responsive even with a crazy 13 hours time zone difference. Will definitely keep booking Amber for our upcoming trips if she’s available.

As of September 2026, there are 4,407 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across West Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred West Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in West Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in West Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Park. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
