“Jenni was awesome! She was efficient in scheduling a meet and greet, she was patient with me as a first time Rover user, and she sent the greatest updates during every visit. One of my cats is on steroids and chemo and Jenni had no problems giving her the daily pills and extra affection. I will for sure be using her if I need a kitty sitter in the future!”

“Sara was so great to work with while my roommate and I went on vacation. She answered my request quickly even though I made it very last minute and made it very simple to arrange everything for the drop in visits. I loved the photos she sent that shows my cat actually playing around while I was gone!! Litter box was super clean when I came back and Sara sent photos of his water fountain and food bowl always being full. I will definitely call on her again if I need someone to watch him while I’m gone!”

“Brianna does it again! She exceeded my expectations once again! I was kept up to date on her visits with texts and pictures. My older cat needs her meds with food and Brianna administered as per my instructions. She makes my cat feel less stressed when I’m away and I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Brenda was incredibly responsible and provided such attentive care that I felt completely at ease leaving my pet in her hands. She went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, showing a genuine love for animals that truly stands out.”

“My Husband and I recently went out of state and chose Tetiana as our dog sitter. She is sweet, confident and very reliable. She followed all the requested and suggested tips with our little ones. We were not only able to leave and enjoy our trip knowing our babies were safe, but we also came back to healthy, happy and safe puppies, which is crucial in this south Florida weather. Thank you Tetiana! We will see you soon.”

“Audrey took such wonderful care of Bonzo! She arrived on time, followed all of my instructions so well, and made the whole visit feel easy and reassuring. I loved the adorable pet summary she sent afterward, it was such a sweet and thoughtful detail. She even cleaned Bonzo’s bowl after he ate, which I really appreciated. The pictures she sent were the cutest and truly made my day. Bonzo was clearly in great hands with Audrey, and I would happily book with her again!”

“Leo took such good care of my Bonzo. I loved seeing the photos from his visits. Bonzo’s big eyes and smile says it all. Leo was punctual and really good about keeping Bonzo’s feeding schedule. He was also tentative to notes that I left for him.”

“Thankful to have had Samantha take care of my girls for a long weekend when we unexpectedly needed the help! She gave my pup her meds and spent a long time with them during drop ins.”

“Alejandra was great! It was the first time leaving our puppy by himself and she did a great job keeping us updated and sending us pictures to help us feel better about him being by himself! Marco is very energetic and she handled it very well!”

“Deena was great. She came on the right days and times and was so great to our cat Peter. She was very communicative and helpful. She listened to the directions perfectly.”

“Stacey took really good care of Arya. She took her time and was very responsive. She even left her a little Christmas present. I really appreciated that. Definitely would use her service again in the future!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs for friends, family, and myself since I was 13. I've had rescues, older dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and puppies. I've done basic obedience training and potty training with small and medium sized dogs and I've also taken care of older foster dogs I'm currently in between jobs so I have plenty of free time to watch and play with your furry family. I'm home full time 7 days a week and I live with my two retired parents I have a fenced backyard so they can run and play to their hearts content without any outside worries. I don't currently have animals of my own. I have no problem with crating a dog if requested, but I prefer to let them roam and be in the same room as them to watch over and play with.
“Wendy is the best! She really cares and is detailed when taking care of my dogs. They loved her and I will definitely be asking her to take care of them again. She's the best!”

“I’ve never seen my dog happier! Ariela went above and beyond. Stopping by to tend to Tuti and check on things around the house. She is trustworthy, responsive, and got one of the best pictures ever taken of my dog, at her happiest. Worth every penny!”

“Thank you for taking good care of Loki. When I got home from my long shift, he wasn’t as worked up as he usually is thanks to your time spent playing with him and getting that energy out. I appreciate your time and help, and would be happy to book again in the future.”
“OMG!!!!! I am a first time Rover user. Jeanette has made me a Rover customer for life. Jeanette was pleasant, loving, reliable and my cat loved her. Her professionalism began at the start when she scheduled a meet and greet! The only bad thing is Slim Jim may never go on a road trip with my family again. As long as Jeanette is available, he is staying home with his favorite most best good Aunt Jeanette!”

“Monica was amazing . The dogs loved her. She is very reliable and I love that she sent me pictures and videos and full reports about what they did,eat and more. Definitely will use her again!!!”

About: I’ve been in love with animals since I can remember. They are the most pure being on earth. My parents got me a German shepherd before I was even born, and I’ve spent all my life since then adopting dogs and caring for them. I lived in Argentina until I turned 19, I had 3 dogs when I was little, I took care of them and played with them every day of their lives until their passing. After that I adopted 3 more dogs and enjoyed every second with them until life said enough. I love having them around me at all times, no matter what I’m doing. I love to make them feel like they are part of my day and of the things that I do. Today, I have a frenchie that I rescued off the streets while I was at work. I took him to the vet every week for two months to make sure he was fully healthy. Today he sleeps with me as I’m someone who always sleeps with their dogs. I can adapt to any pet’s personality, I am attentive and patient and I could never ever get mad at an animal. I understand them and I can adapt to them as I know that they all have different personalities since each one of them are special in different ways. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments. My schedule is highly flexible right now, so I can easily accommodate short-notice bookings, weekdays or weekends, whatever works best for your pet’s daily routine and needs. I like to stay close to the dogs I care for at all times. Of course I take them out for walks, but when we’re at home I stay right there with them, keeping them company and playing with them so they never feel alone and because I love it. I also follow any house rules the owner sets, like rooms or areas that are off limits, in case that is what they want that. But I love having them around me so I will spend my time where they are. I’m also happy to just lie down with them, giving them attention and affection, and I like to think they can feel how much I love them.
About: Hello friends my name is Manuel and I’m a Chef by profession and I have an absolute passion for animals, I know how to connect easily with them, with a lot of love and patience. Ever since I was a child I was surrounded by them and I have learned to connect with dogs on a deeper level and provide them with their daily needs. I have a dog Joey and he is my spoiled one. He is a Maltese mix that I adopted 8 years ago since then i have given him the best life possible. I work every day as a chef except in the morning when I dedicate myself to taking care of animals from 6 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon. I am normally very flexible with my schedule and willing to work out anything to help out with your pets. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I work every day starting at 2pm but in the mornings I am free from 6 in the morning until 1 and I am flexible with my schedule if you need me. I take pet care very seriously and am willing to work out anything for your furry friends. When I arrive at the pet's house, I see all the necessary conditions for the animal to feel safe and lack nothing: water, food, peeing and pooping. If needed on walks, I would make sure your pet is feeling comfortable on their walk and happy.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - West Park
Sara took the time to always make everything as clean and tidy as I want my pet to have. He’s not very sociable (18yo Cat) so she had to go hunting for him and took a picture every day. That made me feel like he was OK, eating and using the litter box. Thank you, Sara! Until next time (I’ve used Sara’s services before) as I definitely recommend her for taking good care of your beloved pets.

Stephanie was absolutely amazing! She had great communication and told me when she was leaving and had arrived each time. She also gave me details of every visit, as well as many pictures. She also was very tentative to my elderly cats needs, including giving him medicine daily. She was very respectful of my house, and asked many questions to make sure that my cat was comfortable and had the best experience while I was gone. It was very evident that she truly cared about his needs, which means a lot to me because he’s like my child. I will definitely be using Stephanie in the future.
Amazing experience as always. Andrea is so patient and kind with our cats. We always know they are safe and loved when we’re away. She provides the very best care during each drop-in visit and her service never feels rushed. Also very detail oriented. Happy repeat customer. ❤️

This was my first time leaving my cat in someone else’s care, and Tyler made the experience completely stress-free. He provided consistent communication, was incredibly reliable, and I felt confident enough to extend my trip thanks to him. I would absolutely use his services again and recommend him without hesitation.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
