“Daisy enjoyed her 5-hour stay with Rae yesterday. They went for two walks together, which Daisy loved. Rae was very conscientious and asked questions to be sure that Daisy would be comfortable and happy during her stay. I recommend Rae if you are looking for a responsible, caring pet sitter!”

“Jason and Becky were very communicative the whole day! Echo seemed to be having a blast in every picture and she came home a happy, tired pup. Plus, Mocha and Tako are sweethearts and I'm glad Echo has excellent role models when she stays with Jason and Becky. Definitely will be booking again!”

“Blaz loved his day with Grace! Despite not having time to meet in advance, he felt right at home just walking in the door. Grace is attentive and communicated multiple times throughout the day with pics and updates. Blaz will definitely be back!”

“Shizuka was absolutely wonderful with Mayo! It was a gloomy, rainy day, and Shizuka went above and beyond to make sure he was mentally stimulated and happy. Instead of just sitting around, she engaged him with indoor dog puzzles and interactive games to burn off his energy. Mayo came home tired and content, which is the best sign of a great day! If you're looking for a sitter who is attentive, creative, and truly cares about your pup's well-being, I highly recommend Shizuka. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“We are so grateful for the wonderful care you gave our pet Aki. Even though we were much later than expected in picking him up, you were incredibly kind and understanding. Thank you so much for your patience and generosity — it truly means a lot to us. Aki was clearly well taken care of and happy. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!””

“Did an awesome job with my young energetic puppy! And was very communicative about timing with pickup due to some family responsibilities. I really appreciated her communication and updates”

“Grateful for Cathy for being so flexible and helping to take care of my crazy Ranger! She is very sweet, showed concern, and I appreciate the insights and observations she made throughout his stay.”

“Rio loved spending the day with Jose Luis! I received regular text and picture updates, and Jose Luis was always quick to respond to messages. Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve had my dog since she was 8 weeks old, so I’m used to everything from puppy zoomies and picky eating phases to keeping up with routines, walks, playtime, and bath days. I’m most experienced with medium to large dogs (30–50 lbs), and I honestly love bigger dogs with big personalities. I only take one pet at a time because I like giving them my full attention, whether that’s long walks, throwing a ball 20 times in a row, belly rubs on the couch, or just keeping them company so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I also love to travel, so I know what it feels like to leave your pet at someone else’s home, and I’ll care for them the same way I’d want someone to care for my own dog. I work part-time as pharmacist! So on my days off your pet will have my full attention instead of just being “fit into” my schedule. I like keeping dogs company throughout the day, making time for walks, playtime, and sticking to the routine they’re used to at home. I live in an apartment with my dog, Cheeki, who’s very used to being around people and other dogs. I make sure pets get plenty of walks, outdoor time, attention, and play throughout the day depending on their energy level and routine. I only take one client’s pet at a time so I can keep the environment calm, safe, and comfortable for everyone.
About: I have lovingly taken care of dogs & cats for over 30 years, both mine & those belonging to friends, family & neighbors. From an early age I learned that all animals need love and compassion, and this taught me to always responsibly care for our family & friends' pets. Since then my passion for animals has taken me on a career path as a global wildlife & nature conservationist & photographer. Any chance I get to walk, visit, play with, and care for a pet brings me immense joy. I know how hard it is to leave your pet for a trip or even just for the day to go to work, my commitment to you is that your pet will receive tons of attention, affection and exercise and you can feel 100% at ease. I am available day/evenings during the week and flexible throughout the day/night on weekends. I will make every effort to fit your schedule. I currently work from home, giving me plenty of time and a broad range of flexibility to visit, walk, and care for your pets. Hopefully your pooch can help me get some of my daily 13,000 steps in! I like to send daily updates and photos giving you peace of mind that your kitty or pooch are happy and taken care of, eliminating any worries you may have regarding your pet during your time away. I'm excited about the chance to meet you and your fur baby! When I visit your pet, I hold myself to the highest standard from the moment I enter your home and greet your pet, as if it was my own home and my own pet. I will strive to leave your home in the same, or better, condition than it was at the beginning of my visit or stay. Once I've followed all instructions provided by you (food, water, litter, toys, meds, etc.), your pet is going to get plenty of affection, playtime, and exercise to keep them fed, happy and well-rested until my next visit (or your return). Let me know your pet’s preferences! High energy dog? Let’s go for a long walk or a run! More of a lap dog? Let's read or watch a movie and I’ll make sure we get in some quality cuddle time. Maybe it’s that time of year and your fur baby is shedding everywhere - let me help with the brushing!
About: I love taking care of dogs and the liveliness they bring to any household. I've taken care of multiple dogs at once before and have experience feeding them medicine as well! I'm available almost all hours of the day as I work from home. Having pets around is great because I love the comfort they bring when it's just me in the house. I have a fenced in backyard, along with a sliding glass door to the backyard. I have multiple floors in my house so pets can roam to their heart's content.
About: My name is Ana, and I’m a retired, stay-at-home dog lover with over 50 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Because I’m always home, your furry baby will receive constant supervision, attention, and plenty of love throughout the day. I have extensive experience with senior dogs, including administering medications, understanding mobility needs, and providing gentle, patient care. Whether your pup loves long walks, short strolls, or simply relaxing and being loved on, I’m happy to meet their individual needs. My home is calm, loving, and pet-friendly. My daughter and son-in-law are also home, so your dog will never be alone and will be surrounded by people who truly enjoy caring for animals. We treat every dog as part of our family and take their safety and comfort very seriously. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I would be honored to care for yours as if they were my own. Please feel free to reach out with any questions — we would love the opportunity to care for your furry baby! I am a healthy senior citizen with tons of free time and energy. I am looking to love on some fur babies, while making some extra income! Ready to meet New friends. Seeing a dog happy, increases my own happiness! I have a huge fenced in yard, and a 3 story home with a sun room where I'd love to make some memories with your furry babies. About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs.
About: Hi! I’m Cheyenne, a lifelong dog lover, neuroscience researcher (spinal cord injury repair), and dog mom of 7 years. I prioritize long, enriching walks with my dog Saint (we average ~10K steps/day) and plenty of playtime. I’m attentive, gentle, and safety-focused, with years of caregiving experience from babysitting. I can’t wait to meet your pup and treat them like my own. I work from home and can offer flexible hours during both weekdays and weekends. Early mornings, lunchtime walks, and evening drop-ins are all possible—just message me with your preferred timing. I live in a clean, nonsmoking apartment and have one friendly small dog. Visiting pups must be potty trained and comfortable around other dogs. I use secure leashes/harnesses, never walk off-leash outside fenced areas, and follow your feeding, crate, and medication routines precisely. Meet-and-greets and up-to-date vaccines are required for everyone’s safety.
“Katerine and Brian did a great job watching Mia, and she enjoyed her time with them. She got to interact with other small dogs they were watching and was spoiled with a lot of snuggle time. Katerine also took some Christmas-card-worthy photos of Mia. Would happily leave Mia with Katerine and Brian again.”

West McLean dog parents share their Rover experiences
We were glad to find Jason and Becky on Rover.com. They were engaged with us throughout the reservation process and as our scheduled changed. They made our Goldie feel welcome and provided her with canine and human companionship for the day, sharing photos of Goldie's day. We highly recommend them.

Yasmine is the best! I had taken my dog to an indoor doggie daycare, and it very clearly overwhelmed him. I needed to find an alternative quickly, which is how I found Yasmine. From the start, she answered all my questions - even the ones I didn’t know I had - and immediately made me feel at ease about leaving my dog in her care. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and is very attuned to their needs. Murphy absolutely loves going to Yasmine’s, and I feel so happy knowing he’s in good hands and actually enjoying his day while I’m at work.

Grace was absolutely great with Poppy. She provided us great updates of the day with lots of pictures, which we truly appreciated. She truly cared about Poppy's comfort at her home and followed the care instructions we provided. I have already booked our next session with her. Thank you for taking great care of Poppy, Grace!!

Thank you so much, as always, for taking such great care of Lupin. We really appreciate you accepting on short notice. We are especially grateful for how kind Maryam and her husband are with him. He came home happy, relaxed and full of energy, which says everything. Thank you again for your care and reliability!

It's clear that Lei provided excellent care to London during her stay today. Lei checked in with us to let us know how London was doing, and shared lots of great info and stories when we picked London up, which was really nice to hear. Also seeing all the cute photos taken of London! We hope to use Lei again soon next time London needs doggy daycare. Thank you Lei!

We are so grateful for the wonderful care you gave our pet Aki. Even though we were much later than expected in picking him up, you were incredibly kind and understanding. Thank you so much for your patience and generosity — it truly means a lot to us. Aki was clearly well taken care of and happy. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!”
