“Adam stayed at my house for a few days to take care of my dogs, Nanuk and Tree, and he did such a great job. He was super reliable, kept me updated, and made sure the dogs were well taken care of the entire time. He took them on walks every day, which I really appreciated—especially because they’re big boys and definitely not the easiest to handle on a leash. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing they were getting the exercise and attention they need. I came home to happy dogs and everything in great shape. I would absolutely book Adam again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Savannah was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Riley and we would definitely use her again. She was very caring, responsible and professional. Savannah had such a gentle way about her when she interacted with Riley and it was very clear that she loved animals. I felt totally comfortable leaving Riley with Savannah and it was such a relief to go away on vacation knowing that Riley was being taken care of so well. We were so lucky to have found Savannah and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a capable and kind per sitter.”

“Brittney did fantastic with my 2 dogs. They seem very happy when I came home. Brittney also kept my home as she found it. Definitely recommend Brittany and will consider her to sit my dogs again.”

“I’m so grateful for the care and kindness she showed Sammy. I had to come home early due to some health challenges, and she was incredibly understanding and communicative throughout everything. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Sammy was in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

“We needed someone to take care of our 8 weeks old puppy who we just brought home. Kiera helped us in a very short notice as my wife had to go for a surgery. She took time to meet us before and discussed all the details. On the day she sent pictures time to time and updated about our puppy's status. It was a great help and our puppy liked her. We will definitely take her help in future. We appreciate all help and highly recommend her.”

“Kristin was great with our dog while we were out of town. She stayed at our home, shared pictures and great updates. Highly recommend; will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Addy was amazing! She helped me out when I was in a bind and needed someone to house and dog sit for me with short notice. She saved the day!! She took amazing care of my dogs and my home! I’ll definitely be reaching out to her in the future to help care for my dogs!”

“This is the second time having Lauren housesit. She was very caring, thorough, and detail oriented. Her communication and pictures made me know that my fur baby was in great hands. I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Lauren was fantastic with our two pups for a weekend stay at our house. She was a great communicator and sent updates and pics/videos often! We would definitely use her services again.”

“This was the second time I used Stephanie and she was just as incredible this time as she was last. She sent me lots of pictures and I could genuinely tell she was showing my dogs love. I would highly recommend Stephanie.”
“Holly was an excellent way for us to try out Rover for our 2 rough and rowdy Frenchies. She was super responsive and kept us up with how our Pups were doing in our absence with photos during her visits. Definitely going to use her again when available.”

“Amy was great because her stay was so uneventful! We were able to go away and did not have to worry about our dog at all. She was also super responsive. Would definitely recommend and will use her again.”

“Our experience with Jeffery exceeded expectations! Our dogs were well cared for and very content when we got home. Impressive given one of ours is a geriatric toy poodle! Our home was clean and orderly! I highly recommend Jeffery!!”

About: Hi! I’m Haley, a 21-year-old graduate student with over 11 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2025 and will be attending University of North Carolina at Charlotte for grad school this fall. I have experience with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets needing extra patience and attention. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away! I am available M-F and occasionally on weekends with a heads up!! Very flexible and happy to help with your pets’ needs and routines! Depending on the owners’ preference, I would play with the animals and provide them with any comfort that I feel they are most keen to.
“Anna and Terrell house sat our 2 dogs and 1 cat for us for a week. They provided lots of updates and took great care of our pets. Would definitely recommend!”

“Leila and Sam were amazing with our dogs! During the meet and greet, and upon first arrival for the sitting Sirius can be skiddish, but this couple knew what to do to get him to warm up and be comfortable! Molly loves making new friends so she immediately liked Leila and Sam. They were great at communicating with us everyday and sending the cutest pictures! We really enjoyed having them care for our pups and will definitely be rebooking with them in the future 🤗”

Wessex Square pet parents share their Rover experiences
We used our first over night service through Rover with Claire. She was a tremendous help with our kitten who had an upset tummy and was having some accidents. We appreciate Claire for dealing with the messes and keeping us updated on how she was feeling. We will definitely continue to use Claire for any drop in or over night stays we might need in the future.

Savannah took excellent care of Mochi and my home while I was out. She was quick to respond for updates, and Mochi was very happy to hangout with her and was a happy dog when I got home. I definitely recommend her and I'll be requesting her again in the future!

Lindsay was great and very communicative. I’ve had the same dog sitter for 10 years and they moved so starting over had me a bit nervous. But Lindsay was great about asking questions and I felt very comfortable with leaving Stanley in her hands. I will def reach out to Lindsay in the future. It’s a relief when you can leave your pet and feel at ease while gone.

Heather was absolutely awesome! She had very clear and considerate communication the entire time and took the best care of our dogs. She truly cares about your pets having a wonderful experience and makes sure you have nothing to worry about. She did a video chat and visit before her stay to make sure we were a good fit and let the dogs get to know her, which I really appreciated. She made sure she had all the information necessary to care for our doggies exactly how we wanted. She sent darling photos letting us know daily how they were enjoying their time playing lots of fetch. She also left our home in excellent condition and even handled our trash, mail, packages and emptying our dishwasher. She has our highest recommendation and will be our dog sitter as long as we live in Charlotte!

Shelbie was absolutely fantastic. Pacer is a lot of work and needs help walking around and Shelbie was very kind patient and gentle with him. He also takes lots of medications and she was great with that as well. This was our first time with Shelbie but it won’t be our last!

Highly recommend Amy! She is the utmost professional who went above and beyond her pet-sitting duties (and even watered my plants!). Her communication was fantastic, and the regular photos gave me total peace of mind. I am especially grateful for how wonderful she was with my senior dogs (oldest is almost 18!), who require extra attention and physical assistance getting outside. Thank you for taking such amazing care of them. Thank you SO much Amy!

I have never had a house sitter but thought I would give rover a try I spoke with Jeffrey, and he agreed to accept the position. He stayed a week and took wonderful care of the house and the animals. He kept me updated if anything went wrong. And he was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely ask him to come back if I need another house sitter. One thing I didn't do it was to buy food because I was not sure what he ate So I left him a few dollars, so he could get his own. If you're going to hire someone for more than a day, I would suggest that you do the same thing. And let them purchase their own food as opposed to trying to get stuff that they do not want. Again, jeffrey, it was wonderful and I would not think twice about hiring him again.

Esperanza is awesome! She took care of our dog June and our cats, as well as housesat for 10 days! Her prices are great and she updated us with photos, videos and stories multiple times a day. This was our first experience with Rover and she made everything go so smoothly. We will def try to hire her first every time we need help.

Julie did a great job with my three dogs to of whom are quite elderly. She ensured they got all of their meds and catered to my elderly rat terrier's pickiness. One of the dogs got sick while Julie was with them and she went the extra mile to care for her and stay in close contact with me. Thank you Julie.

Tera stayed with our little baby for over a week. During the time we were away, Tera kept me informed as to how our angel was doing and sent multiple photos that cheered me! Tera also was very aware of the deer in the yard and our return flight. She was more than willing to come back that morning if there was a complication which eased my anxiety. Upon our return we found the house clean and our precious girl completely well cared for! Thank you Tera!!!
