“Clarissa exceeded every expectation we had about the level of care our dogs would receive. This is the first time we had a sitter for them since moving to Charlotte over a year ago. All of our interaction with Clarissa was very positive, from the first appointment to meet "our girls" to a trial run at her suggestion, to the actual care dates. We were confident that she would take their care very seriously. She won over our very shy older dog who in record time, evidenced by lots of photos. This was one of our most pressing concerns and it happened quite quickly. Clarissa is making a career of training dogs so her attention to their behavior with her and with each other was impressive: our newest rescue is a little on the wild side and Clarissa's observations about her were spot on. She told us that she could work on some of the dog's more, shall we say, rambunctious behaviors. We could tell after coming home that the dog was listening more readily to commands. We came home to a clean house, with the bed sheets in the laundry room, the dishes in the dishwasher, an empty kitchen sink and clean counters. In short, we were beyond pleased with the care Clarissa provided and have already discussed future plans with her. Thank you Clarissa, and thank you Rover.”

About: Hi! I’m a fun-loving person who has always loved animals. I’ve had dogs and pets around me for most of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I’ve helped with overnight stays, house sitting, walks, taking dogs out, feeding, and whatever else is needed to keep them happy and comfortable. I’m comfortable with different personalities and energy levels, and I’m always happy to give a pet some extra attention and love. I know leaving your pet with someone can be stressful, so I take communication seriously. I’ll keep you updated, send pictures, and make sure you know how things are going while you’re away. I’ll treat your pet the same way I’d want someone to treat mine- with patience, care, and lots of love! My availability is pretty flexible depending on the day! I’m available Sunday afternoons and evenings, and I’m fully available Monday and Tuesday, including overnights.Wednesday through Saturday, I’m generally available in the mornings and early afternoons. I can also do overnights those days when my work schedule allows. I’m always happy to communicate ahead of time and figure out what works best! I’m flexible with walks and care as long as your pet has the supplies they need (collar, harness, leash, etc.). Their safety and comfort always come first! Right now, I don’t offer dog sitting at my own home, but I’m very comfortable house sitting with your pet in their own space. I think staying somewhere familiar can make things much easier and more comfortable for them while you’re away.

About: I love pets so much! I grew up with a cocker spaniel and now have three cats! I love all animals and love to help! I am also willing to house sit. I work Monday-Friday until 5pm typically but am able to afternoon take care of pets! I am free weekends. I am also able to take care of pets overnight stays/house sit! Works well with going to work and then coming back home to the babies :) I have three cats of my own and grew up raising a beautiful cocker spaniel baby :) I love pets and have my own car but no large backyard.

She sends daily updates even if the pups aren't doing anything different than the day before. She would still send us cute pics of them snuggling into their beds or chilling with her on the couch. She's responsive and picks up / cleans up after herself so the house is as tidy as when we left. Highly recommend!!!”
