She took such good care of my cat Lando and gave frequent updates on how he was doing and she responded very quickly whenever I sent her a message! She even washed the sheets and left our apartment SPOTLESS. Holly is amazing and will provide such peace of mind while you are away. I can tell Lando had so much love while we were gone! About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, from energetic puppies as a kid growing up to wise senior dogs with special needs. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, medication, or just being a calm and reassuring presence, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels — from zoomies to couch potatoes. I work full time remotely, with slight travel on an annual basis. My schedule is pretty flexible! Perfect for early mornings, lunch, or afternoon care with weekend availability majority of the time! When I care for your pet in your home, I treat it like my own — with respect, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I know how important it is to keep your pet’s routine and environment consistent, so I follow your instructions carefully and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also send daily updates with pictures so you know everything’s going smoothly. My goal is to make sure your pets — and you — feel completely at ease.

“Lauren was fantastic with our two pups for a weekend stay at our house. She was a great communicator and sent updates and pics/videos often! We would definitely use her services again.”

About: Dogs have been the center of my life for over 16 years. My journey started with my two little terriers. A Yorkie and a Silky Terrier who quickly turned my love for animals into a lifelong passion and purpose. Over the years I became the person friends, family, and neighbors call when they find an animal in need. Whether it's helping rescue a neglected dog, connecting someone with a shelter, or stepping in to care for a pet, I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves. In August 2023 I lost my soul dog, Lola, and the grief was overwhelming. In her honor, I began volunteering at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter in October 2023. Helping the dogs there reminded me how much love I still had to give. Since then I’ve fostered dogs for the shelter as well as local rescues like Peanut’s Place Small Dog Rescue and FurBabies Animal Rescue. Every foster that has passed through my home has received my full heart and dedication, and seeing them find loving homes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In 2024 I foster-failed with my sweet girl Lacey, who reminded me so much of Lola and became a permanent part of my family. Caring for rescue dogs has given me experience with dogs of many breeds, temperaments, and ages, from shy and scared pups to energetic personalities who just need guidance and love. Dogs aren’t just pets to me, they are family. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own. I am currently working part-time, so I am home most of the day. My schedule is flexible and can make myself available for walks and feedings morning midday afternoons and evenings as needed. Providing a safe, loving, and calm environment is always my top priority. I live in a townhome with a small fenced backyard, and our neighborhood is extremely dog-friendly. Many of my neighbors have dogs, so I’m constantly out walking my dog and foster pups making sure they get exercise, enrichment, and fresh air. When caring for dogs in my home or yours, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also understand that every dog has a unique personality and comfort level, so I always take the time to learn their needs and boundaries. Safety and trust are incredibly important to me. I pay close attention to body language, keep a clean and calm environment, and ensure dogs always feel secure and comfortable. My experience volunteering, fostering, and walking dogs has helped me become very attentive to changes in behavior, energy, and stress levels. Whether your dog needs a relaxing walk, overnight care, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, you can trust that they will receive patience, love, and attentive care. As a bonus, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate with even more pet parents in our community.
“Jeffrey went so far above and beyond taking care of our two dogs and house sitting for us. He was extremely communicative, took the best professional quality photos of our dogs, and our house was actually than how we left it when we got back. A big storm was supposed to hit while he house sat for us, and he didn’t bat an eye about staying it out with our girls despite the scary weather warnings. We will definitely be using Jeffrey whenever we leave town, and our neighbors are already asking for his number!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had a deep love for animals. While I don’t have formal pet care experience, I’ve spent years caring for my own pets, including providing compassionate end-of-life care for both a family dog and my senior cat. I currently have two cats and a large dog, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities and needs. My dog can be reactive, which has given me hands-on experience with reading animal behavior and safely de-escalating stressful situations. I treat every pet with patience, understanding, and the same level of care I give my own. Right, I am available for any level of care that your furry family member may need. We can discuss and customize the number and length of check-ins or stays to fit their needs! I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in every home I enter. I respect your space, follow all care instructions closely, and keep pets secure, supervised, and comfortable. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior and needs, ensuring a low-stress environment and using safe, gentle handling at all times—especially in unfamiliar or potentially stressful situations.
Carmel pet parents share their Rover experiences
Savannah was absolutely wonderful with Moses. She clearly cares about the animals she looks after, and I could tell Moses was comfortable and happy the entire time. Communication was great, and I never had to worry while I was away. She’ll be my first call anytime I need a sitter going forward. Highly recommend!

Megan was fantastic! She went above and beyond taking care of our boy and our home for a boarding service. She was very communicative and sent lots of updates and pictures. She was able to handle our dog on walks who has some leash reactivity. She had also come over for a meet and greet before booking. I will definitely be reaching back out to Megan in the future. Thanks again Megan!

Tera stayed with our little baby for over a week. During the time we were away, Tera kept me informed as to how our angel was doing and sent multiple photos that cheered me! Tera also was very aware of the deer in the yard and our return flight. She was more than willing to come back that morning if there was a complication which eased my anxiety. Upon our return we found the house clean and our precious girl completely well cared for! Thank you Tera!!!

With it being the first time I have left my dog with anyone except family; I was extremely nervous to leave for four days. Shelbie kept me in the loop & gave me updates on how both my animals were doing! I could tell by the time Colby first met her, he would be in safe hands & by the pictures she sent throughout the weekend I knew he was having fun!

Meredith really went above and beyond on this most recent trip for us! We went out of town just before the big snowstorm in Charlotte, and she was very consistent and timely taking care of Daisy despite the weather. We’re so grateful to have her travel across town in less than ideal conditions, especially on a steeper hill nearby. Daisy got to play in the snow, and always got her treats and meds on time. So grateful for the help!

Reagan is incredible! It was our first time having someone dog sit at our house, but she quickly put us at ease. She took great care of the pups and our home. She had excellent communication and sent fun updates and pictures. We definitely plan on booking with her again!!

Sydney was amazing! She took GREAT care of our 5 month old Goldendoodle puppy (which is a very hands on task since she’s so young!), and kept us updated throughout our trip - gave us peace of mind knowing our puppy was in the best hands while we were gone for a few days. Sydney left the house spotless and was a perfect house sitter, she will always be our go to for all our future travel plans!

Lobo, our 12 year old 10lb rescue chihuahua mix approves! Matthew was so patient with him even though Lobo takes a bit to warm up to new people. By the end of their first day together they were buddies. Matthew sent us photo updates daily which really calmed my anxiety about having a new sitter. He paid good attention when touring the house and meeting Lobo for the first time, asking lots of good questions. We came home to a clean kitchen and the guest room already put back together after his stay too! He’s definitely our new top pick dog/house sitter from the area!
