Unfortunately my dog has passed and I miss being around fur babies ! Looking for opportunities to be around them more I work from home full time during the week and am home on weekends . I also have a 5 y/o dog and grew up taking care of 2 dogs I work remote full time and am available before work, during lunches and right after work. I have a toy poodle mix and am always walking around the neighborhood I always offer fresh water for drops in and for walks. About: Dogs have been the center of my life for over 16 years. My journey started with my two little terriers. A Yorkie and a Silky Terrier who quickly turned my love for animals into a lifelong passion and purpose. Over the years I became the person friends, family, and neighbors call when they find an animal in need. Whether it's helping rescue a neglected dog, connecting someone with a shelter, or stepping in to care for a pet, I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves. In August 2023 I lost my soul dog, Lola, and the grief was overwhelming. In her honor, I began volunteering at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter in October 2023. Helping the dogs there reminded me how much love I still had to give. Since then I’ve fostered dogs for the shelter as well as local rescues like Peanut’s Place Small Dog Rescue and FurBabies Animal Rescue. Every foster that has passed through my home has received my full heart and dedication, and seeing them find loving homes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In 2024 I foster-failed with my sweet girl Lacey, who reminded me so much of Lola and became a permanent part of my family. Caring for rescue dogs has given me experience with dogs of many breeds, temperaments, and ages, from shy and scared pups to energetic personalities who just need guidance and love. Dogs aren’t just pets to me, they are family. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own. I am currently working part-time, so I am home most of the day. My schedule is flexible and can make myself available for walks and feedings morning midday afternoons and evenings as needed. Providing a safe, loving, and calm environment is always my top priority. I live in a townhome with a small fenced backyard, and our neighborhood is extremely dog-friendly. About: Dog mama and animal lover all my life. I've been animal and house sitting for years. While I am with your 4 Legged family member they will have all the cuddles and kisses. They will be treated as if they were my own. I currently have the flexibility to make my own schedule that works for my clients. I am a morning person and typically up around 6am. I can do overnights if needed if location is within a 10 mile radius. I would have to go home and handle my dog before spending the night. When I am watching my neighbors dogs and house the 3 imps have full access to everything they typically have when their Mommy and Daddy are home. If they are outside I'm typically out with them. I don't like to have them roaming in the yard without supervision.

I’ve had animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and needs, including senior dogs and those requiring medication. I’m home based and available throughout the day, which means consistent supervision, companionship, and exercise, whether that’s a relaxed neighborhood walk or a longer outing on the nearby greenway trail. I keep boarding low volume, typically one guest at a time, to maintain a calm, safe environment. I have a spacious fenced backyard and do a meet-and-greet before every booking to make sure it’s a good fit for your dog. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing. Reliability and clear communication aren’t extras, they’re just how I operate. I work part time from home, which leaves me with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. I’m home most of the day, allowing me to provide consistent walks, attention, and supervision. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, not as an afterthought, so your pet gets reliable, focused care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, preferences, and any medical or behavioral considerations so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar and low-stress. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routine. I follow all care instructions closely including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any household preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, supervised environment with a spacious backyard and access to a nearby greenway for walks. I keep boarding low-volume (typically one client at a time) to ensure each pet gets focused attention. Pets are never left unsupervised with my puppy, and I use slow, thoughtful introductions to make sure everyone is comfortable. I prioritize safety at all times, including secure leashing on walks, monitoring interactions, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.
