“Savannah has been absolutely wonderful with Seal! From the very beginning, she went above and beyond by scheduling a meet-and-greet to make sure it was a great fit and to learn all about Seal’s needs and routine. It was clear right away how thoughtful and attentive she is. Seal looks forward to their walks every day, and it’s been such a relief knowing she’s in such caring hands. Savannah is consistently punctual, incredibly communicative, and her Rover report cards are always detailed and reassuring. She’s also been very flexible with scheduling, which has been a huge help while I’ve been adjusting to a new job and navigating a new routine. Most importantly, Savannah treats Seal with so much care, attention, and affection—it truly shows in how happy Seal is after every walk. I’m so grateful we found her and would wholeheartedly recommend Savannah to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate dog walker!”

About: Hi! I am a student and football player at Furman University. I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up around dogs of all sizes and personalities. Caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them attention and comfort. I’m reliable, patient, and committed to making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while their owner is away. I’m currently home for the month of May from college. I love being active and working out is a huge part of my daily life. Throughout the month I will sporadically be doing some shadowing in the Wealth Management space. My schedule is basically wide open and I plan to fill a lot of that time by caring for pets. I’m happy to walk your dog for as long as needed, and I also enjoy doing drop-in visits. I take pride in making sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and in good hands.
About: I am a young professional and native Charlottean. I began care-giving to pets at an early age. I have been most successful with creating dog-sitting and cat-sitting opportunities by word of mouth with friends and neighbors. I know Rover will give me the opportunity to make your pet more comfortable at home and allow them get to know me better. Rover I believe is so helpful and better than boarding your pets because they are most happy in a familiar environment to them. I am passionate for helping others and understand people have busy lives, so I am here to help in anyway with your pets needs! I would be happy to meet you and your pets. I am fortunate to have a 9-5 work from home job where I can visit/stay with pets. I have plenty of spare time to relax, play, and adventure with your pet(s)! I am a very clean and organized individual who will treat your home better than my own if requested to house sit in one of my clients homes. I prefer watching pets in their own home because this is a familiar place to them and will allow them the utmost comfort while their owner(s) are away.
About: I have experience caring for many large and energetic dogs (pitbulls, labs, golden retrievers, etc) as well as smaller dogs (pomeranian, etc) and cats. My family dog is VERY interested in other dogs on walks so I have experience managing that as well as with using a shock collar if that is something an owner would like me to do. I have a very open schedule so I'm almost always able to accept same-day requests as well as recurring ones! I am a graduate student so most of my work is independent, which gives me a very flexible schedule! I am available most days of the week. My own dog is let out in my fenced-in backyard whenever she wants and always has water & food available - I will ensure this for the pets I care for. I also have patience for her high energy and can handle excitable dogs on walks well.

About: I take pride in being a reliable and loving dog walker and sitter who truly puts pets first. I know how important it is to feel connected while you’re away, so I always send plenty of updates, photos, and check-ins. This way, you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and cared for every step of the way. I am extremely responsible and attentive, making sure to follow each pet’s routine and needs closely—whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just some extra snuggles. I genuinely love animals, and I believe they can feel that energy from me right away. When your pet is with me, they’re not just being looked after—they’re in a safe, loving environment where their well-being always comes first. I currently work part time at a retail store but other than that my schedule is open!! I can do early mornings, afternoon, and evening walking or check in visits! I have a fully screened in porch attached to my apartment and my apartment complex has 2 amazing dog parks along with walking paths and large sidewalks.
“Skylar was a great dog walker for our senior pup. She was always on-time and took great care of Daisy throughout her walk. We'll be working with her again in the future!”

About: I adopted my first stray kitten when I was 8 years old. She was a black and white kitty that I fondly named Princess. She lived a long life of 20 years. I am an animal lover and have adopted/rescued many cats over the years. I currently have a Doberman named Porter and a cat named Jacoby. I am available early morning and evenings during the week and on weekends. I am fairly flexible and can work with you if an alternate schedule is needed. Prefer Southpark area dog walks and dog/cat drop-ins. I will give your furry family member lots of love and attention while you are away and respect your home like it is my own.
About: Previous owner of two small dogs who lived to 16 and 13. Have experience with a dog with intense medical needs (epilepsy) and have administered medication previously. Have experience in dog and cat care through volunteering at an animal shelter (Pawmetto Lifeline, SC). Currently free for the summer time (weekdays 11am-6pm) as I am an educator. Would be open to doing weekend work (also 11-6pm) once school begins. Since I have experience working with a special needs dog, I understand the importance of timeliness and attention to detail. I have a pet family of my own, and know the stress that can come with someone else taking care of them. I am someone who triple checks all leashes and harnesses before leaving, be it for a dog or a cat. My home is not open for pet sitting due to my cats, but I am more than willing to drop-in and make sure your pet family has their needs being met.

I’m comfortable with a variety of personalities and needs—from energetic puppies to shy or senior cats. I adapt quickly to routines, understand animal body language well, and always prioritize calm, attentive care. My goal is to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free in your absence. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I structure my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, and playtime. I’m flexible during the day for check-ins, medication, or just a little extra attention if your pet needs it. I’m available most weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and I treat every visit as an important responsibility. I’m committed to providing a clean, calm, and safe space—whether I’m in your home or mine. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, exercise, and any special needs. When walking dogs, I use secure harnesses and avoid crowded or overstimulating areas. I never leave pets unsupervised in unsafe situations and am always alert to their needs and surroundings. Building trust through consistency and care is my priority.
“Katie was so great about helping us out for about a month, walking our two pitties! She was great with them and always kept me up to date with cute pictures and their potty breaks. Will definitely use her again in the future!”
About: I pride myself on being trustworthy, patient, and gentle, recognizing and respecting the unique personalities of each dog. Whether administering medication, offering extra attention, or simply being a loving presence, I am committed to ensuring every dog feels safe, happy, and loved in my care. My daily routine includes walks in the park, playful sessions in the garden, and cozy cuddle times on the sofa. , I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional care and attention to your beloved fur babies. I am available for boarding weekends and week days. I live apartment life on the ground floor. This would be a way to get some time with pets and exercise for me while making some money on the side.
Mountainbrook dog parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn’t have imagined anyone better to walk my 95 pound Lab/pittie mix, Waylon Ray! Nicholas was available on extremely short notice, is kind, courteous, helpful, and sent pictures of Waylie on their walk. I have already booked a couple more weeks of walks with Nicholas, before he heads back to school for the summer. He obviously really loves dogs and Waylon Ray adored him. I’m so sorry Nicholas will be training for football this summer. He’s fantastic!

Megan takes care of our dog Mango, and it’s honestly hard to put into words how much she means to us. From the very beginning, she’s treated Mango like he’s her own—thoughtful, attentive, and so genuinely caring in a way that you just can’t fake. Mango absolutely lights up when he sees her, which says everything. She knows his personality, his routines, and all the little things that make him happiest, and she goes out of her way to make sure he feels comfortable, loved, and completely at ease. Whether it’s extra playtime, making sure he gets enough exercise, or just giving him that one-on-one attention, she always goes above and beyond. For us, the biggest thing is the peace of mind she gives—we never have to worry for a second when Mango is with her. That level of trust is priceless, and it’s something you don’t find easily. We feel incredibly lucky to have Megan in Mango’s life. She’s not just a sitter—she’s truly someone special, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Austin was an amazing walker. He bonded with Diesel immediately and she was excited to see him! Austin was punctual and professional. He asked great questions as to how to best care for my elder pup. He and Diesel got along great and Ian's passion for animals is evident. I would, without hesitation, hire Austin to care for my Diesel again!
