About: I’ve taken care of dogs for five years now and can work with puppies, middle-aged dogs, and older dogs. My girlfriend and I have recently adopted a mixed breed dog in the shelter and pat him for over a year now. I’ve accepted a job at a investment firm and do not start until July 6 so I’m currently looking for extra work and don’t have any obligations until then I normally do 30 to 45 minute walks this includes playtime sessions and I can visit 2 to 3 times a day depending on your pet needs!

As a retired neonatal nurse, I bring a strong healthcare background, attention to detail, patience, and compassion to every pet I care for. I have been a lifelong pet owner, a mother, and an animal lover who understands that pets are cherished family members. Throughout the years, I have cared for puppies, kittens, senior pets, and animals with special needs. I am comfortable with feeding schedules, administering medications, providing exercise, companionship, and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or well-being. Now that I am retired and living in Charlotte, NC, I have the flexibility and time to help busy pet owners by providing dependable, loving care. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise requirements, and any special care requests. About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience walking all sizes of dogs from Bernese Mountain dogs to an 8 week old pug. I’ve worked with deaf dogs, a dog that was post-op for an ACL tear, and administered medicine if the pet required it. If you have a reactive dog, I may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay! I have experience with dogs that are reactive to cars, but I prefer not to work with dogs who are reactive to other animals. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I promise you never have to hear my jokes, but your dogs probably will at some point during our walks.) If you need a weekday dog walker, I’m your gal! You will also have ample notice for any time that I am traveling out of town for shows as my tours are booked the year prior. I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.

About: Hi, I’m Megan, a recent college graduate who just moved to Charlotte who loves spending time with animals. I work part-time and my hours aren’t consistent. I could be working morning, night or midday shift, but I am available for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and on holidays. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, as my family has always had dogs and my nana has also groomed them. I’ve had plenty of experience helping take care of them, from feeding and walking to playing with them and bathing them (even though it’s definitely not my favorite). Growing up around dogs has also taught me that every dog has their own personality and energy level, and that some need a little more patience and attention than others. I’ve also had a cat of my own for the past three years, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and care that I give my own. I’d be happy to keep them company, play with them, follow their normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away! I currently work part-time, but my schedule changes from week to week, so my availability can vary. I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to make sure I’m available when your pets need me. I’m especially flexible for house sitting and can discuss specific dates and schedules with you! I’m not currently able to board pets in my own home, but I’m happy to provide house sitting in your home. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible, and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.

About: I have experience spanning back to 2015 volunteering at animal shelters taking care of many different dogs. I raised and trained my own Cattle dog/Chihuahua mix with behavioral issues to be a wonderful family dog today. I have moved out and am looking to assist others with their dogs in anyway I can! I am allergic to cats so unfortunately that is a service I cannot offer. I look forward to hearing from you and your furry friend! On my available week days I work from home and am able to supervise and play with your furry friend during those hours! I enjoy caring for dogs and raised and trained my own growing up. My apartment building is very dog friendly and provides a fences in play yard as well as a dog cafe to spend time. I'm available to walk three times a day and potty/feed/give medication whenever necessary. My roommate is a girl around my age who loves animals as well. I am open to schedule adjustments based around your dogs needs. I plan to work mostly on walking dogs, however, while occasionally pet sitting I plan to create a very trusting and comfortable environment to let your dog be themselves. I have years of shelter experience and am good at adjusting to different dogs needs. Just like people, every dog is different and I love to let them go at their own pace!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and my family always had German Shepards. These past few years I’ve taken care of my friend’s pets whenever they go out of town, need a walk, or if they just need me to check in on them. I love meeting and caring for all sizes of dogs and cats. Right now I have a lot of available during both the week and weekend to stop by for walks or to house sit. I enjoy doing a check in or walk at anytime throughout the day I love getting to care for pets at their home so they are comfortable and can stay consistent with their schedule and routine. About: I have taken care of my family dog for about 7 years. I also have adopted a dog for a day multiple times. I love caring for dogs and being active with them so I am confident in caring for your dogs! I am a college athlete so my availability varies. During my days off I love to be active by going on walks and being out so adding dogs to my schedule will make that better. I live in a closed campus with lots of field space and I have access to get food and drinks in a short amount of time

About: I have been taking care of dogs for my friends and family for the past 5 years. I recently began watching my neighbors dogs and would like to be able to take care of more pets in the area. I love all types of dogs and enjoy playing with dogs and taking them on walks. I'm currently working remotely on Monday's, Wedndesday's and Friday's and have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a lot of flexibility during the day time when I am working from home and most evenings after 5:00. I am also able to watch dogs over the weekends. I do not typically board dogs at my house, but I am happy to watch your pups at your houses. I am happy to watch your dogs whether they are crated or not. I am also happy to use fenced in back yards for potty breaks or take dogs on walks during the day.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs and my ability to adapt to each dog’s unique needs, personality, and energy level. I’ve had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I also have a background in nursing, which makes me especially comfortable caring for pets who require strict medication schedules, administering medications, and closely following specific care instructions. I’m comfortable with special diets and giving extra attention to dogs with specific health or care needs. My goal is always to make every dog feel safe, understood, loved, and cared for like they’re part of the family. 🐾❤️ As a full time remote student, I spend most of my day at home studying, baking and playing video games, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care for pets throughout the day. My flexible schedule makes it easy to incorporate regular potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and walks into my routine. I’m home the majority of the time, so pets aren’t left alone for long periods and can get plenty of supervision, companionship, and engagement. Whether it’s sticking to a specific routine or giving extra attention to more active dogs, I can easily adjust my day to meet each pet’s needs. My apartment community includes a fully fenced dog park perfect for quiet, one on one playtime in the mornings or socializing with other dogs in the afternoons. I also have a secure, dog friendly balcony that gets plenty of direct sunlight, ideal for pups who enjoy relaxing and sunbathing. For dogs that need more exercise, I’m located right along the rail trail in Southend, making it easy to provide longer, scenic walks as part of their daily routine.
