“Loved having Adam as our Rover! Adam watched our Great Dane for a three-day weekend. Before the weekend, Adam came over for a meet-and-greet to make sure that this was a good fit. Adam was responsive for scheduling and on time. He asked thoughtful questions that showed his familiarity with different breeds and dogs’ needs. We were happy that Adam agreed to watch Scrappy! Over the three-day weekend, Adam arrived on time and excited to see our boy. Adam sent us updates, including lots of photos. He even went above and beyond, playing lots of ball in the yard and cleaning up after our boy. Adam also took good care of our house. It was well kept when we returned, and Adam even took out the trash and stripped the used linens (something that we didn’t ask for but were appreciative of). And when we returned, we were touched to see that Adam had left a dog-specific music channel on the TV (something that Adam had mentioned to us during our meet-and-greet and that we were eager to see used). We’ll be using Adam again! Very thankful for his sitting!”

“Paris was incredible!! My husband and I have a very sweet, animal reactive dog with skin issues, so we’re always nervous about leaving her. We had an opportunity to go to Japan for two weeks so we wanted to find the right baby sitter. Paris came prepared with questions and calmed our fears about leaving our dog. She was very organized and wrote down all our comments. She also followed up with us about any comments in a timely manner. Paris was attentive, kept us informed, and gave us updates on our dog on a time schedule that worked for us half way across the world. Savannah took excellent care of Mochi and my home while I was out. She was quick to respond for updates, and Mochi was very happy to hangout with her and was a happy dog when I got home. I definitely recommend her and I'll be requesting her again in the future!
Maggie was very sweet and gentle with my senior rescue dog. She was able to accommodate his strict oral medication timing and physical restrictions. She asked clarifying questions as they arose. She was flexible with his care, as my dog can be quite particular when he’s having separation anxiety. I received cute photo updates, and my home was left nice and clean. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was being watched with such care and attention.
Lindsay was great and very communicative. I’ve had the same dog sitter for 10 years and they moved so starting over had me a bit nervous. But Lindsay was great about asking questions and I felt very comfortable with leaving Stanley in her hands. I will def reach out to Lindsay in the future. It’s a relief when you can leave your pet and feel at ease while gone.
Me & My Girlfriend had a last minute cancellation on our pet sitter and reached out to Johanna last minute to see if she was available to watch our two pups. Luckily, she had availability and was able to watch them while we were out of town. She kept an open line by always sending us updates or pictures which we loved. Her compassion towards animals creates a worry free experience when she’s watching them. Frank and Whiskey loved having her over to take care of them and she even brought them special treats from home. We will continue to reach out to Johanna for all our pet sitting needs. She is truly a gem.
Valentina was an amazing dog sitter for my 9 year old pit mix!! I have used 3-4 people from rover over the years and she’s the best one!! From the moment sky met her - she loved her! (Dogs know!) She had questions I hadn’t even thought of when we did our meet up, she was timely, constant communication (not overly), and provided updates as I requested. She left my home just as she found it. Highly recommend Amy! She is the utmost professional who went above and beyond her pet-sitting duties (and even watered my plants!). Her communication was fantastic, and the regular photos gave me total peace of mind. I am especially grateful for how wonderful she was with my senior dogs (oldest is almost 18!), who require extra attention and physical assistance getting outside. Megan stayed with our two 7-year-old Golden Retrievers for two nights. She was fantastic from start to finish. Megan sent great photos throughout the stay and communicated consistently, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. Our pups are not the easiest dogs to care for — they wake up early and have a very specific routine for feeding and going outside — and she handled everything wonderfully. It was clear they were well cared for and comfortable with her. We would absolutely recommend Megan to any friends or family looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring pet sitter.
Esperanza is awesome! She took care of our dog June and our cats, as well as housesat for 10 days! Her prices are great and she updated us with photos, videos and stories multiple times a day. This was our first experience with Rover and she made everything go so smoothly. We will def try to hire her first every time we need help.
Julie did a great job with my three dogs to of whom are quite elderly. She ensured they got all of their meds and catered to my elderly rat terrier's pickiness.
