“Simply put: Dominique is the best! This is our 3rd time taking our girls to Dominique - they had a great time and we will definitely be a back again 😄”

“Mia is literally a saint. I just moved to Charlotte and needed a sitter on short notice to watch my dog while I moved into an apartment. Mia answered immediately and was super flexible and communicative. At the end of the day she ended up befriending my dog, who often becomes anxious and/or scared when she's away from people she knows. My dog is now exhausted, which is exactly how I like her. I would definitely re-book with Mia and recommend her to anyone who needs a reputable and reliable dog sitter.”

“Keira helped us with care for our 7mo old puppy for the day. She was wonderful! Super communicative with updates during the stay. You can tell she really loves the pups she has the pleasure of taking care of! We look forward to more stays with Keira in the future!”

About: I have 9yrs experience of taking care of a German Shepard mix. I understand no two dogs are the same and each some with their own personalities and needs. I work fully remote at home and have a pretty flexible schedule! That being said, I would be available 24/7 and happy to organize a pick up or drop off time that works best for you. I have a 2,300sq foot house in Cotswold with a huge fenced in backyard. I’m happy to host here or at your house based on your pets needs. I don’t have any pets and just one roommate whose hallway will be blocked off. Otherwise, my home environment is calm and open.

“Ollie had so much fun staying with Marey! He was nice and tired from all the playtime and couldn’t wait to see her again on day 2 of daycare.”

“Winnie was very comfortable and enjoyed the backyard with his new buddy.”

“This was my first time using Rover and have a 12 week old puppy and Allyson made the experience great! She watched her all day and was very flexible on pick up/drop off times, she sent me pictures of my pup all day and my puppy came back tired and happy from playing all day. Would definitely use her again!”

“Christine and Andrew have been the best with taking care of Wilma weekly. They are sure to keep us updated and send pictures - they also make sure she gets plenty of toys :) Wilma looks forward to her time with them each week and it has been so seamless working with the both of them. I highly recommend working with them on pet sitting needs - they rock!”

About: I have had experience caring for all types of dogs for the last 15 years through neighbors, friends, and roommates. My mother also assists with care, and loves the companion of the furry friends! We can watch a dog up to 20 lbs (Rover didn’t let me customize size)! My mother (retired) and I (just finished school) both watch the pets! We are available during most weekdays and weekends for boarding, and day care for the 4-legged friends! If you needed your pet to stay at my home, and they have their own crate for comfort, it will be appreciative to have it brought with them! They are welcome to roam free indoors as well, as there are no other pets in the home. I don’t have a fenced-in yard but do live in a neighborhood with access to the greenway for plentiful walks.

“Luna went to Beverly for a day care and she was great. She sent me an update how was Luna doing. It was easy and quick to communicate with her. We had a good experience. I recommend Beverly for the take case of your fur babies.”

“Nice, dead-end street in a nice neighborhood. Cheryl was hosting about 12 other small doggies on the evening we dropped off our Rat Terrier while we attended a nearby wedding ( we were visiting Charlotte having driven from Massachusetts). Cheryl's communication was excellent and greatly appreciated.”

About: I have always had dogs growing up and have been a reliable sitter for friends, family, and neighbors when needed! I have experience caring for dogs all ages and am comfortable working with dogs that require medication or have special needs. I am available on most weekday late afternoons/evenings and many weekends during the school year. I am a full-time elementary school teacher, so I will have much more flexibility during the summer months to care for your pets! I spend my afternoons walking my own dog, Bo, and finding pet friendly parks to enjoy. The most important thing to me is that your pet is safe and happy. I will check in on your pets as needed and treat them with the same love and care as I do my own pup! I will provide updates and send photos/videos during my time with your dog to ensure you that they are in good hands and are having fun. My dog is family and I will treat your dog like family while I am with them!

About: Hi, I’m MaryBeth — a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of experience as a pet owner and 2 years experience as a short-term foster parent for dogs of all types and ages through Animal Care and Control. Our home is full of love, play, and belly rubs — and my two kids (ages 8 and 11) are just as obsessed with dogs as I am. If your pup loves snuggles on the couch, long walks, or just a calm and caring environment, I’ll make them feel like part of the family. I know how much your dog means to you, and I’m committed to keeping them safe, happy, and well-loved while you’re away. I work from home, which means I’m available throughout the day for potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention. In the evenings and on weekends, my two kids are eager to play, snuggle, and provide even more love and entertainment. I keep a calm but fun home, and your pup will always be part of the action (or relaxation — whatever they prefer!). Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll care for your pup just like my own, 24/7! From sticking to your feeding and potty schedule to following house rules (the best we can!), I aim to create a seamless and stress-free experience for both you and your pet. Our home is clean, calm, and dog-friendly, with plenty of space for play and rest. I believe in open communication and will always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: Hi I’m Meg! I am a 3rd year Medical Student at Wake Forest School of Medicine. My fiancé and I have our own pup named Winter and she is the sweetest ball of energy and would love to make more friends! As a previous D2 xc and track & field athlete, I am a very active sitter/walker and I am able to run with your pet if they wish to do so! I have experience caring for children, large dogs, small dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. We are a fun loving, adventurous, artsy, open-minded, caring, and trustworthy couple and would love the opportunity to get some exercise while creating a safe and exciting adventure for your pup! We provide overnight sitting or doggy daycare at our house. Our house has a fenced in backyard, lots of fun toys, and my fiancé works from home. Please reach out to schedule a sitting in advance or if needed asap. I try to keep our calendar as updated as possible! I am currently rotating among different specialties in the hospital. My schedule varies every week, but my fiancé works from home! Our pup would love to have a friend stay with us so they can play together :) We spend a lot of time outside as long as the weather is nice. We stay away from high traffic areas and safely walk with each other in a trusted manner. Your dog will always stay on the leash if we are outside of our yard to ensure their safety. We walk one dog at a time to allow for better control and trust.

I would highly recommend Hilda and we are lucky to have found her to take care of Tesla.”

Sydney & Derek C.
“Sydney is actually my sister, but this isn’t just a biased review—we grew up with dogs our whole lives, big and small, so she’s always been a natural with them. She really misses having a dog of her own, which is probably why she puts so much love and attention into caring for other people’s pets. Anytime she’s available, I always ask her to watch my dog when I go out of town because I trust her more than anyone. My dog has tons of energy, and that can be overwhelming for someone who’s not a true dog person—but Sydney totally gets it and handles it like a pro. Derek is just as great! He also grew up around dogs and has that same care, trust, and will feel like someone you’ve always known. Together, they’re an awesome team—super reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely loving with animals. If you book them, you’ll probably end up recommending them to your friends and family too!”
